Comments regarding Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co.

I recently placed an order on March 8, 2011 and estimated shipping was 10 to 14 days. I was pleased my order arrived in only 6 days. The company representative taking my order was very pleasant and helpful. I've ordered from BakerCreek previously always with good results. I love browsing their wide selection of pure heirloom seeds and there beautiful catalog is a joy to browse as well as their website. The catalog also has some recipes and enlightening quotes throughout.
I'm a very satisfied customer.

Great catalog, great shipping, great values for gardening by opposing GMO, which made me start some vegetables and herbs in first place. They give gardeners a choice for tasty food, they are worth growing.

I have always got great seed from baker creek and it is a great company.And it is child like to complain about not getting a great free packet of seed.

Nice catalog, though the religious references are annoying and seem to ignore the diversity of this sites consumers. BC supplies nicely packaged, fairly priced seeds that had excellent germination rates for me, even two years later. Unfortunately, two different varieties of the tomatoes that I ordered were incorrectly packaged. It is extremely frustrating to raise up what you think is a beautiful Chocolate Cherry, only to find yourself with a spitter.

I purchased from Baker for the first time this year. Their catalog blew me away. I still sit in bed and read through it. My only regret is that I had already order a lot of my seed before seeing their catalog. The seed i ordered was received less than a week after I placed the order. I also commend Baker for their pricing and shipping rates which were much less than many of the companies I have ordered from. Even though many of the seed were less expensive, there were more seed in each packet than packets from other companies I had ordered from. Keep up the fight for natural and rare seed. Great company!

I am so impressed with this company. My large order was filled completely and accurately, then received days ahead of schedule. I have had 95 to 100% germination rates with all of the vegetables planted so far. I choose to support them because they have honorable principles in business, ecology and humanity. I will always order from this company. Say NO to GMO!

Wonderful ,frendly, fast, and helpful. Great to talk to a real american member of staff that is helpful and friendly. I had trouble with leaving positive feed back and I was walked through step by step. I will be sending in an other order soon. Thank-you for great seeds, that are also not GMO. (why are other seed co. not required to lable them as such?)

Unbelievably good experience! Not only did they *all* of the hard-to-find varieties I was looking for, but I got my order in three days ... with an apology slip for taking so long due to a huge increase in orders. I had already ordered most of my seeds at Pinetree (also a very good company) when I came across some hard to find favorites at Baker Creek. I'll be getting the bulk of them at Baker Creek next year!

I've used Baker Creek for three years now and have had not one problem. They have a very nice catalog with good information on what they're selling. If you're looking for some off the wall heirlooms or the good ole' stand by, this is the place for you. Maybe someday I'll make it over to visit as I'm just one state away, it looks like it would be a day of fun!

This is third year I have order seeds and they were send pretty quick. I had luck with all seeds including lemongrass! I also visited Baker Creek, it was fun.

I have been ordering from Baker's Creek for several years now, and I find their seeds to be TOP NOTCH!!! Because I generally plant a very large garden or two on my farm, I always need seeds each year. Because Baker's Creek sells heirloom seeds, I'm able to save seed most years for the following year's gardens.

I love the many variety of seeds they offer which increases each year, and I really LOVE that they are not asking too much for shipping seeds to me. Over the years, they simply keep getting better and better. This year, they have greatly improved their seed packets with complete descriptions and planting instructions for each variety of plant. Also, I ordered my seeds on February 21st and received them on February 26th with apologies for the "delay" to which I say, "What delay???" This for a mere $3.00 shipping through the US postal service.
