HI Everyone Great news today the mail delivery is finally confirmed. Don't worry all mail addressed to the PO box will still get to me.
Cris try a cotton swab to pick up the chaff and see if that works. If you are into bead a bead dabber might work.
Mechelle I'll get you a couple of hostas will just take me a week or two as I'm going to raid my sister's bed and a friend's as well.
Tubby I assure you there's plenty GRIN I can even go visit my neighbor who has some that's different from mine LOL. I just need an excuse to get more plants hehehe
I have a couple of seeds Tubby what are you looking for?Guess who has been harvesting again?? Pk I will tell
Its Mittsy she is harvesting and sharing with us!! And she sent a special little surprise for me!! She is so good. I dont know what it is but I think Mittsy is like a Tropical Flower that makes it through the winter in the living room. Special.
Well I feel better.. got my DL planted, got my Iris planted, moved all my succulents to the succulent lasagna container. I found out I have a persimmon tree. Dang things are all over the ground! The tree is so tall that I don't even have a ladder tall enough to climb and pick them. hmm.
still need some pointers on my seeds. Anybody? help! lol
Bottom water the seeds Mechelle, just keep the top section damp until they come up then let dry a little bit between waterings, I've read some people sprinkle cinnamon on the soil to prevent damp off.
Tubby, were you looking for white hyacinth bean seed? I have some getting dry now.
Mechelle I think when they get a couple inch's tall..I used two drinking cups..Poked holes in one & set in other one..
Worked good for tomatos 7 everything I tried..
Hardest part was watering have to sepeate cups..
Think I'll try little hose & funnel this time..
Mekos yes I have purple no white..

I'll send you some pods, you let them dry there. D-mail me your address info when you get a chance. I'll mail Monday.
How cute. Not a care at all.
That baby may be relaxed but I wouldn't want to be a mouse or anything just look at that watchful face.
Yea Mindy. He's ready if something comes along to disturb him.
Oh, he is VERY watchful. I adopted him from a friend who moved back to Canada, and she could only take one cat with her, so I adopted Charlie from her, and she kept her other (older) cat, because she didn't think the older one would adapt well to a new family at his age. Charlie is about 3 years old, and just showed up at her house one day, so he was probably a bit of a hunter then, and I've seen his hunting personality a few times when the birds were coming in for a meal or a bath. Here's another one of him, keeping watch over the yard from the bench.
They're so cute.
Here's my other (older) cat, Fluff. He's been part of our family for 12 years now. Adopted him when we lived in Tucson, AZ, and he's moved around the country with us 10 times since. He's also a yard watcher, but definitely not a hunter. I've seen him step aside to let a mouse eat out of his food bowl once, and he just sat and watched. Definitely not a hunter! LOL
Very cute, Seray ... almost looks like she has an "M" on her forehead, right above her eyes.
Someone owned and loved my cat. She was on her last legs when she found our lanai. Her hair was so thin from malnutrition is was almost non-existent. The interesting thing was as soon as we made her a litter box she went right to it and she drinks out of the sink. Sad to let such a sweetie get lost. MIne now!!!
I had Tiger for about 11 years. He slept with me and we just had this connection. It was like he could understand what I was saying to him. Just before he died, I took him to the vet because I noticed that he had really bad breath and his coat was thinning and dull. Turned out that he had feline AIDS. He was an indoor and outdoor cat and I guess they get it from other male cats from fighting. He was fixed so I don't think he was breeding with any females. I opted not to put him down because I loved him so much and just couldn't do it. Our neighbors dog came into our yard and carried him off while I was at work. Go figure.
Well, mine is a ball of fire. He's always into something and thinks everything is a game for him to catch. He's mean. I'm thinking if I have him neutered he will settle down some. He's a mess. He is NEVER calm and lazy. He is a holy terror. He attacks everytime anyone walks by, even the dogs. He don't know they could eat him and at anytime they wanted.
So sorry to hear that Mechelle. :hugs:
I've lost a couple pets over the years. It's never something you get used to, nor does it ever get easier; quite the opposite, actually. Seray is right -- love 'em while you have 'em! All of my pets are snuggle bugs, and I made it quite clear to the hubby from the get-go -- they were here before him, so take 'em ... or leave. lol
I need to get back to studying and catching up on my classwork. You all have a great evening & weekend!
