I adopted him from a friend who moved back to Canada, and she could only take one cat with her, so I adopted Charlie from her, and she kept her other (older) cat, because she didn't think the older one would adapt well to a new family at his age. Charlie is about 3 years old, and just showed up at her house one day, so he was probably a bit of a hunter then, and I've seen his hunting personality a few times when the birds were coming in for a meal or a bath. Here's another one of him, keeping watch over the yard from the bench.
