Mechelle a round up at your nursery sounds like so much fun..I bet the people from the mid-south forum would love to come there for a round up..Courtney could sing for them. I think its a grand idea once you get established.. I looked at your pics and it looks like you have some nice buildings and a really nice greenhouse..Im all excited for you.. wow Temps down to 43 this am..I bet my newly planted daylilies are wondering what happened to them lol.. Supposed to be back up to 88 by the end of the week..Just typical Arkansas weather from one extreme to the next.. We usually wait till the end of Oct to get this cool down here in the Delta tho..Hope you guys have a great day..Trish

patti the children have lived over in sand springs for 3 years now at times i really miss them i try to remember to call on birthdays but i am birthday crazy most all the time. can,t even remember my kids birthday and i try so hard not to forget them. you probly wouldn,t know them love nettie

mekos dh is crazy!!!!!! and i can,t help him told him to go to bed. he watchs golf and old western movies. all night and in the afternoon. he put a post behind a climbing rose today i ask for it a month ago i guess he got so bored putting up a post was good for him ill get to put icy hot on his back in the morning i don,t mind but he will forget what made him sore, ill have to tell him. if i remember. good night all have a good day tomorrow. love and hugs nettue,

they fenished the roof today yes i love it. the tv man will be here in the morning thank goodness. don.t think i could stand another night of old movies on cd, they are bad, got to rise and shine in the morning going to do some painting im gona try and get some of the trim painted, lows in ft. smith did a puter match for the roof it looks good on the paint lid. the roofers painted the flashing around the pireplace looks cherry red from the ground im going to re paint it ill post a picture when i fenish painting. i don,t like being on top of the house but ill do it never walked on a medal roof before i get around good on a composition just plain shingles with just sox on, idon,t think that will work on medal io slick. ill work it out might work with nothing on my feet. pray for me i don,t need to fall off. love nettie

we have two sons mark and billy don bill said one of them could go on the roof i just wont it done i painted some of the front of the house today will try and paint some more in the morning. lows did a good job on that paintgood color match. im thinking about going to bed love and hugs nettie

sam the roofer came by today he made his son go paint that flashing looks good. i thanked him twice so glad he came by. im comming along with the trim looking good. should be fenished in a couple of days. love nettie

Don't overdo Nettie, we kinda got use to you being around here and sure would miss you iffin you was layed up somewhere! Stay of them roofs and don't do too much by yourself.

Hi Robin, I did open my own nursery! Well it's not open as of yet but I have been busy cleaning and ordering plants and just trying to get organized and set up. I won't open until late Feb -early March.. Wishing I had taken you up on your offer ! Lol

Hi All..Nettie glad they got your roof on and glad your not up there painting it.. My Grandmother climbed up on the roof to sweep it when she was 90.To stubborn to ask for help..She is 95 now, lordy I hope we dont catch her back up there, but I wouldnt be suprised! She still lives alone and drives her golf cart all over town. Will mow her own yard if my son doesnt get over there quick enough to suit her. Rakes her own leaves. She is tough for sure..They have decided to change my sons medicine and wait 6 months and repeat the cat scan to measure the spot on his lung,since the radiologist says its benign what ever it is..I just pray this is a good decision... Its still terribly dry here.. Worse than I ever recall.. Even my bushes that have been planted for years are wilted and looking pitiful..They have been fighting fires all around here..Hope all of you guys are doing good..

We must live in the migration of these lovely's. They were all over my zinnia today, and flitting around my yard. They seemed to like the orange best, but also got on the red, yellow and white some too. I'm not sure what butterfly this is. Maybe someone can tell me the name. They are as pretty with the wings closed as open. Some were deep orange, others a brownish-orange. Very pretty.

Happy Sunday All - Had our first big frost this morning, though warming up into the 70's for a beautiful day. Wanted to go flying today but all the club planes were taken already.
Might get up Tuesday or Wednesday if weather stays nice.
