Crit, the best way is always to let it dry on the stalk but it will also be ok to cut the stalk and hang upside down-like stalk up and seed pods hang down in a dry paper bag and hang in the sun outside from maybe the top of the porch or somewhere critters won't get them and eat them before you can get the seeds. But that should be ok. The paper bag or net bag will catch any seeds that might fall out and still let air get in to help the drying process.

Crit, the brand I can get is Hormodin. It's commercial root hormone and the size I can get is a large 1 lb tub. There are three different ones:

Hormodin 1- $24.95 plus shipping (no tax)
General purpose for propagating roses, carnations, poinsettas, some shrubs and most home and garden plants.

Hormodin 2-$28.95 plus shipping (no tax)
for propagating woody and semi woody plants including evergreens

Hormodin 3- $24.95 plus shipping (no tax)
For propagating the more difficult to root varieties including evergreens and dormant leafless cuttings.
