I can't wait for some nice weather! Love the blossom mekos - prettiest one yet!;o)
New bees chit chat - come on in!! 07/17/2010
What a cute outfit Mekos! She just gets cuter and cuter, and I can't believe how fast she is growing! Our 11 month old is such a tank, he just now figured how to stand, but only if he can hold onto something! He's just too top heavy, lol!
Thanks you guys. I think she will be doing stuff early. My oldest daughter started walking at 5 months and ran everywhere by 7 months and could talk your head off at 7 months. Cut her teeth at 3, 4 and 5 months and all her jaw teeth while I was in the hospital (having baby #2)at 11 months old. Out of diapers at 8 months old and off her bottle. Sucked a paci till she was 3 years old. She turned over for the first time in the newborn nursery at the hospital. No one believed it except the nurse that saw it. That was exceptional and none of the next 3 did anything like that. Each was slower than the one before it. My last one was very lazy. I'm really amazed at how well she is doing. Hugs everyone. Good night!
Personally, I think girls are faster learners than boys. At least mine was, but she was also the youngest, so could learn from her older brothers. Course, in your case, that logic won't work, lol!
On another note, I need to get a female arctic kiwi! Any ideas where to look?
oh my had to go get new drivers licens today that is one old eugly womans picture don,t know where they got it but i ask for the same picture i had last time can,t be they wouldn,t let me do that.they put two pictures or the same old woman on my licens. oh well ill get over it . came home and cleaned the greenhouse out only weeds growing good size weeds should have fixed this mess weekz ago. but its done now. going to the grocery store tomorrow don,t like going if we didn,t have to eat we would have more money. bill had some work done on the drive way it looks and drives good just have to wait and see if it,s going to hold and not wash away when it comes a hard rain, take care love and hugs have a good day nettie.
There must be a conspiracy Nettie they put some old woman on my license too!!
To bad your not in Arizona. There you get your drivers license at 18 and its good until you reach age 62. Same picture all that time. OH YES!!!
When I worked in the store in Calif and we sold booze and had to ID people I alway loved those Arizona licenses. I saw one that expired in 2045.
Wow a license that last that long... How in the world do they make extra money for the state if they dont charge you for all these lil things over and over? Around here they find a reason to charge you,any excuse to get your money...Lol arejay at the old woman conspiracy.. Beautiful flowers and butterflies..Mekos that GD ust gets prettier everyday..

ooops .. Did I say that twice? Sorry.. Ok Im out to get my watering done its so dry and hot even with the rain a few days ago, the next day you couldnt tell it rained..Supposed to be 103 today with heat index of 115.. You guys try to stay cool..
I've got a gentle rain happening right now. The news says T- storms for today. It's funny. Yesterday when I checked the weather for the week it said Sunny for today - no mention of rain. This morning it says T-storms
It rained a little again last night!
Yep - my license expires on my 65th birthday - in 2035! They "recommend" you update your picture every so often. I think the initial license is $25 and you can get a replacement for $10. It's been a while so not sure if the prices are right or not still - lol. They get their money on emissions testing and outrageous registration fees... Any reinstatement fees from all the people whose license gets suspended or revoked. The fees for that kind of stuff are outrageous.
the night flying moths are haveing a ball out back in my fore o clocks all differnint sizes of them they can be mean if you bother them im not gona bother them. they are all over the place. they chased the son away, im not going around back they can have it.
that dumb dog has another snake bite she can,t leave them alone i hope it doesn,t kill her she is rtill chasing cars so i don,t think it will kill her on bad days i could kill her myself she sleeps in my flower bed i get her with the fly swater but you can,t break her from doing anything. she makes you feel bad if you get her i feel sorry for her but people just keep dumping animaly here. wish i could catch them throwing thrm out but they do it at night after we go to bed, love and hugs nettie have you all have a good dzy tomorrow might get some rain.
Holy Cow! What a light show we have going on! Thunder and lightning everywhere around us! No alarm sirens yet tho, so that must be a good sign. And now it is starting to rain, so happy about that too, since we need it! Sure couldn't talk me into going outside tho!
loca could we have a new thread thank you
You are so right. He looks like it's all your DH can do to keep his eyes open. Loved the color of roscoe. He is a pretty boy.
Yep, doesn't look like he's any more spoiled than ours, lol! But what a beautiful pup! Well, guess I'll go survey the damage from the storm and critters last night. Seems if it's not one, it's the other, so I'm sure something got eaten, or ripped up or something
Trish
Is that your "outside" dog ?
CUTE Trish. Just wait till he gets too big to sit in there with your DH. He will not be a happy camper. Ours got too big to sleep in bed with us and cried and cried when we moved them out. They pushed us off the bed they were so big. I moved them to the huge garden tub in my master bathroom and they could see us and they started sleeping in the bath tub at night. They took over the sofa, and it was not easy to get them off. They grew up thinking they were people instead of dogs.
You got your work cut out for you.
Nettie, hope your dog gets better. Snake bites are awful dangerous. Poor baby. You take care, and I hope you got some rain. We havent got any yet.
no rain working at the fair tomorrow it will rain so we have to walk in mud.that won,t be anything new but i would waid mud for a good rain.oh well ill be ok. the dog acts like she feels better, love to all and good night nettie.
Lol Mitt "outside" dog..I've never had an animal in the house(except fish) till Caleb brought this pup home at 4 weeks old..To young to be weened, had to be bottle fed, to cold outside to be left out there alone..Sigh..Now he will be 4 months old on the 8th weighs 25 pounds and is more spoiled than the kids..He goes outside when I water or when the boys are playing..Otherwise he thinks this is a big dog house..Im still not crazy about having a dog in the house, but im crazy about the dog lol..He lets me hose him down outside, seems to like it actually, then dry him with a towel or he runs round and round like a crazy dog then he comes in and goes to his bed, or to one of the kids beds if they will let him... He sleeps in the utility room at night on his bed..To be a pup(with such a stubborn reputation) hope im not speaking to soon, he sure is a good dog so far..My husband spoils him worse than anyone, that was his pillow the dog was sleeping on after DH got off the couch.I try to keep him in his bed and off the furniture then he comes home and you see what happens..
More pretty porch flowers in bloom. Weather is finally backing off temperature wise, it's almost comfortable around here. Heard about Chelsea's wedding not far from here but I didn't get invited, so sorry I can't share any pictures. I guess they spurred the local economy a bit though, which is a good thing. I hope they ate well using local veggies and all.
Al

Sounds like you had a great day Nettie! I love this time of year just for the fairs! The kids all work so hard, and it is just so much fun watching them! All it did was rain here today, and hail a little, and blow ALOT! Nasty winds!
AL. he is beautful. Looking right into the camera. Wasn't shy at all.
Love it.
Good morning everybody. I was just sitting here looking at Al's bird up there and a big green lizzard was on the screen outside my window in front of me and also a pretty good size moth and the lizzard slowely went over toward the moth and waited a bit just watching and then pounced and got that moth and in 2 seconds it was GONE! He had breakfast! Now to my pond for a cool drink ;0)
Congrats to your grandson Nettie. Something to be proud of! Hopeing the other does good with his chickens. (2 thumbs up!)
We are still dry too. No rain at all for a while now. Had to water stuff this morning and almost passed out , not gonna risk it again. Plants may die but I just can't help it.
I'm still weak and shakey. Got go rest up and cool off some more I guess. Have a great day you all. Love the rooster Charleen. CUTE!
Hi peeps! I'm in Maine and suffering from jetlag - lol. Gotta try and get some sleep tonight. It is humid but cool - far cry from the desert - lol. I'll catch up and check in as I can. We're at the lake and I was out earlier listening to the loons!

Hey - Kelly on a road trip! Everytime she's there, I'm here. Every time I'm there, she's here. I really enjoyed Arizona in March though. It probably seems cool to be in Maine in August. Have a great trip Kelly!
