Al, is the place where you saw Jerry also a restaurant? We ate at a place like that last time we were there! Food and atmosphere was awesome!! And they have bands outside playing on the weekends! Really cool place, but I can't remember the name of it, of course.

glad you got them. thanks for letting me know. Now they got to wait for snow to melt. What month do you really plant things out before they not freeze?

RRM, they just came in the mail this morning, but have them all potted up already. They are huge! And look wonderful! I usually wait until the end of May before I put anything outside. I winter sowed some stuff for the first time this year, but heck, don't even know why we call it winter sowing, cuz don't need to start til after the first day of spring! lol I have been known to wait until June, tho, depending on the weather forecasts. But funny, I've always planted my taters on Good Friday. That's when Gram & Gramp always told me was the best time.

enid i bet if you would go talk to that neighbor lady she would love for you to have some of those iris she probly is not able to take care of them and would like them to have a new home. i don,t have the extra funds to bail you out wright now so don,t do it please. love and good night. you be good both of you.

Great pics everyone! I finally got some blooms on my Iris this year! So far I have 5 colors. Don't know their names yet but at least they bloomed! I think they didn't bloom last year because a) the beds needed to be thinned badly and b) the caretaker that was here before us cut everything down to the dirt.. Lots of new things this year that I didn't have last year, too ..

Would anyone know what this is? I got it last year in a trade as an extra and don't have a clue. It was tiny last year and grew all winter very slow and little bigger now but still don't know what it is or if it blooms or eatable.

OR a black shirt and pants and go at late night while everyone is sleeping?!? hehehaha LOL Where is that ENID when I need her?????

Hey you guys, mail just came and brought me a wood rose vine and so pretty. AND a bunch of seeds for more and Papaya seeds,African tulip tree seeds, White hong kong orchid,2 packs of seeds of yellow rattlebox-tall tri-leaf. ALL from my Hawaiian friend. BIG HUGS my friend.
Another box too from another buddy. Holy COW! OH MAN!! My Stictocardia vine and 2 pots of Pardancanda Dazzler series- purple/orange/yellow and mixed Candy lilies. OH my word, DH gonna hate coming home today to plant flowers. Oooowww! OUTCH! Got to go get these a drink of water. Later.

Sorry forgot the upper post, Loca. The plant has little pink blooms and real pretty. About the size of salvia, that is what it puts me in the mind of. Makes a single stalk or sometimes a small bunch. Thanks for the ID.
This other green thing-Rhubarb??? How to grow it???? How big does it get? I don't have a clue to how to take care of it. Put in ground or keep in pot, does anyone want it? and all that.

Put it in the ground and watch it grow. Throw in some horse poo and you'll have to put to bridle on it to hold it back!!!

Then you can make strawberry-rhubarb pie - mmmm mmmmmm good!

ok friends and neighbors, its time for me to take a chill pill and lay the body down for a while. need to get over my mad and i have been real angry need to go take an anger controll class. one person gets me real riled up if dh knew how angery i got he would make me get ouy of garden club oh well just go with the flow or get out. thats pretty simple wright. aint it. im just crazy thats a fact. enough ive got behind again that will keep me buisy. love nettie talk later. had a fair day everything considered

Well, I never had anything that looks like this one. It came up volunteer a couple years ago and just keeps coming back. We get floods around here and seeds could have washed from other neighbors or birds dropped from the neighbors gardens but I never had any. Next package I send out will be to RRM and I'll try to remember to include one for the road. Then you can see close up. It is pretty.
