Hi Everyone

Al the Amaryllis bulb you sent me has a big bud! I'm waiting to see it open. It's my last one for this year!.

This is also my last day at DG. It has been a fantastic year thanks to all of you.

Hugs

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

Sherri - Hate to see ya go! Good luck, hope to hear from you again.

Al

Mitt, that is beautiful! Looks a lot like my Savanah Sunset Iris. I love it. And a good day to you as well.
Yup, she got me right in the heart! NOW I'm known as a baby snatcher. Oh the shame of it all.
Moving right along now....
Seray, you have really made my time here the best ever. I've grown to love you like a sister and best friend. I'll always thank DG for bringing us all together and allowing us all to grow together as a big family. We're still doing the round-up this fall and I'mm coming or BUST!
See you over on the other side, my friend. BIG HUGS till then.
Skellogg, that is a very nice plant.
Hello Littlenettie! Top of the day to you too, my lady(blinking eyes in disbelief !)

I got so blustered, I forgot to show you my Schisandra Rubriflora vine that came today. Sorry. Messed my whole day up.

Wow mekos! That's a fine looking specimen!

Seray - we will miss you here girl! It's been too much fun. You're awesome and I consider you a sweet friend. Glad DG brought us all together!

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Thanks not fair to leave us, seray. How are us newbies to get along without you?

Thank you Loca. It is about 2&1/2 feet tall. Couldn't get it all in the picture unless I stepped back more and figured the light wouldn't be good and it would come out too dark. Has 2 stems going up. I'm excited. And It was only $19.99. They sent me a catalog too to buy from. They have some nice plants in there and really good prices.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Just what you need - another tempting catalog - lol...

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

I just sent in an order (for delivery this fall) for a reblooming lilac. I will get 2 of them for 19.95 from SpringHill Nursery.

Now I have to get busy and pick out what to order from Bluestone Periannals with my birthday certificate.

I could suggest some pretty Irises for me??????? BIG GRIN!!

And when they come, I'll even sing Happy birthday to you!!!!

Not too long , and I'll probably do that too. It took me so long to find it.( 2 thumbs up)
I'll probably stare it to death, It and the stictocardia vine.
I had a tiny piece of the Lotus parrots beak that sprouted up from the roots and it sure is looking good too. It is either Sierra sunset or golden flash one. Not sure, had both in the same pot. But I'm verry happy right now.

That is AMAZON SUNSET not sierra sunset- duh!

Good night nettie and all. Hope the storm goes around you and causes NO problems for you.
Tomorrow should be a better day. Sigh...........
Walks away, head down , feeling sad.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I know it is sad riding down the dusty trail leaving your friends but that doesn't take the feelings of friendship away. I have really enjoyed being here with you all and sharing pictures and plants. So, hold your head up High Mekos, there may be a tree linb coming at ya and you won't see it til it plops you in the head. It's o.k. I think they may let me pop in once in a while ,won't they???

OK, I'm all cheered up now little buddy. I'll see you in Augusta Georgia at the round up too.
And who knows where else! Big hugs.

Here is a picture of my orange hibiscus that bloomed today.

Where is everybody going? :( I plan to stick around that's for sure.

Mekos- I got your email about the bog garden contest. I'm going to sit this one out but I will follow it and learn from you guys. I have some ideas for a bog garden but I just have too many garden projects going on right now. And that Hibby is soo pretty!

Montrose, AR(Zone 8a)

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Me and mekos are still here Mechelle! I'm sitting out the bog contest too. I'll be lucky if I can keep the CPs alive through the summer, and I also have too many projects going on. Doesn't it always seem that way - lol?!

Everyone just running off and abandoning me, I mean us.( Blinking big round eyes!)
Hey Mechelle, don't see you much, but hope everything is going good. Blondie is planning to come to our round-up this fall. It sounds like fun if we all can get together. It's in Augusta Ga. if anyone is interested, and will try to remember to post often to remind everyone.
(Mitt, if ya want to come to Ga. and bring Irises, we won't complain, unless you try to take them back with you!).

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

I just reinlisted for another year so you'll just have to put up with me!

Al

Middleton, TN(Zone 7a)

OK, no one else is allowed to leave! I love DG and couldn't imagine not having it!

I wanna know more about the RU ☺

OK Mechelle, We are meeting in Augusta Georgia Sept. 25th. I'll be sure to send out final directions as soon as we make the final pick of three different parks there. Right now just getting an idea of who all wants to come. You can do a Map quest for directions from you to Augusta for a time line and directions.

my bog garden

Booneville, AR

my puter is real slow it won,t load anything properly. sory no bog garden nettie

Beautiful Roses nettie. It looks like one we call Seven Sisters around here. It comes in white pink and red and run everywhere if you let it. Yours is really pretty like that.
What kind of bog garden are you making or have you made? We're doing bog gardens "elsewhere" too. Ours are for the CPs and looking good I might add.
