If you noticed I took all our names and corresponding DG handles. Did leave those that need prayers.
Since most of us are familiar with who's who.. I think we don't need that roster anymore.
For our new sistahs, feel free to ask.
Sorry if I had inconvenient some, especially those with CRS.
BRB.

Well ladies I found my phone. I love the beautiful purple iris. Iris' are not usually my first choice but I have never seen purple either. It looks amazing and I would definetly plant one here. Plus purple is my favorite color.
Omg, what a spider. I would hate to run across him when pulling weeds. I hate to say it but it would probably be the last time I pulled weeds if I did. Snakes and spiders are about the only animals I don't like. I can deal with everything else.
Ewwww.... LK... that's creepy....
LOL... will do, Phyllis... but just enough for me and you... Mike doesn't eat beans... none of em...
Woo Hoo... Gwenny... was just talking about you... and in the same paragraph as "Manure".
Man jaye you really are trying to test me aren't you. I know almost all DG's handles for everyone that came to tx but I will have to test my memory on the rest. So please forgive me in advance because I am one of those that has CRS.
Saw that. Well there is enough manure on this ranch. Take your pick on what kind you want.
I bet you could get your son to bring you some more when you empty that bucket. ;-)
Phyllis, you will have to get BJ to bring you over here to get some in here new hot rod. If u would like some you are more than welcome.
LOL... yea... but I bet we won't be picking up any MANURE in my little red pepper...
Would have to bring the truck for that.
Like I said... we aren't even sure that we'll buy it... they're bringing it to Dallas for us to look at... then we'll decide.
If we were sure we were going to buy it... we'd have flown to N. Carolina this week, and drove it home... would be here much faster.
It left NC on Saturday, and Don is getting really impatient.
Sorry Gwen.. I'll dmail you a cheat sheet.
LK, Kel says the spider's verrrrrrryyy interesting!
Sistah Judy, you have never seen me do this at BJ's.. but... here's a cold one for you!! Take that stress off!!
Marion, Kel must be from a different breed. He has always referred to this postage size 'kingdom' as my canvas. Perhaps that's why he truly doesn't do anything on his own to improve the area, unless I push him to.
Bonnie, you must post more pics of your beautiful irises. They are so regal looking.
Yep, like you, I use beer for liquids in the batter.
Trisha, I've never had fried radish greens. Will try that, is it pungent?
I have read how BJ and Cody use cotton bur compost, and we got some bags of that to try. Wish we have a cotton gin here.
Now you are talking of animal manure. There's a goat farm around here, and do any of you know anything about goat manure?
Gwen, check your d-mail.
Jaye... Don said that he heard that "Google.com" have hired goats to mow their lawn, and fertilize all at the same time... I'm waiting to see how it works for them... LOL.
My sister has a Llama farm close to her, and she goes over there and buys a seed bag full of manure for $1 per bag... she claims that Llamas process their food unique from other farm animals, and swears by it in her beds.
I have no clue how to find a Llama farm around here... so I just get the cow poop when I can.
My uncle raised goats back in Singapore. I can't stand their scent and they could be quite ornery. Also will literally eat everything in sight.
My ex's parents were dairy farmers. I had a flourishing garden thanks to the cows!!
Read all about the "goat lawn service" at Google.com

and, check this out... I think we all need one of these.
http://www.treehugger.com/files/2009/05/plants-texting-for-water-wireless-water-sensor.php
I would appreciate it Jaye
You should be getting it now, Gwen.
BJ, you are right. Our plants will thank us if we get them those sensors!! Especially when in times of drought.
It's been a very very tiring day today. Mentally and physically.
So I think I'll just call it a night.
Sleep well ladies.
Thx jaye.. I have a question. It seems like every time I check my dmail I loose the thread off my home page. What am I doing wrong?
Gwen... at the top of the page... next to MAIL... check the MY INFO link... then click on THREAD I'M WATCHING... all the threads that you've either posted on, or clicked "watch thread" when viewing should be listed there... then you can just click that link to get back here..
It will also have a red YES on the left of the link if there's new posts to that thread.
Then, to get to the next post that you haven't read yet since the last time you were here... click on "skip to new" at the top of the page, just above the blue line that says COMMENT.
BJ, I have been here for a year now, and I did not know that! Thanks for the info!
LK
Thx bj for the tip on getting back to the thread. I was having to do it the long way. Well I am tired so I will catch you slick cats in the morning. Sweet Dreams to All...
Jaye, the radishes and their greens are much milder when cooked.
Oh the little tarantula is beautiful!! We had Pink Toes at the pet shop I where I worked in California...they really are pretty.
Woo Hoo... we're slick cats... how 'bout that?
LK... don't remember who told me about that... but I had to be told too.
But that's about all I know...
Now, I'm going to go get horizontal too... Don's already found something really boring on TV to put us to sleep.
G'night Slick Cats !!!
Night everyone!
Hey Gwen yeah will have to have BJ do that ...oh manure you bet I would love some but I don't have a truck would have to use a tub to get some and out it in my truck LOL
Had to share this with you all!
Quilt of Holes
As I faced my Maker at the last judgment, I knelt
before the Lord along with all the other souls.
Before each of us laid our lives like the squares of a
quilt in many piles;
An angel sat before each of us sewing our quilt
squares together into a tapestry that is our
life.
But as my angel took each piece of cloth off the pile, I
noticed how ragged and empty each of my squares
was. They were filled with giant holes. Each
square was labeled with a part of my life that had
been difficult, the challenges and temptations I was
faced with in every day life. I saw hardships
that I endured, which were the largest holes of all.
I glanced around me. Nobody else had such
squares.Other than a tiny hole here and there,
the other tapestries were filled with rich color and
the bright hues of worldly fortune. I gazed upon
my own life and was disheartened.
My own angel was sewing the ragged pieces of cloth
together, threadbare and empty, like binding air.
Finally the time came when each life was to be
displayed, held up to the light, the scrutiny of
truth. The others rose; each in turn, holding up
their tapestries. So filled their lives had been. My
angel looked upon me, and nodded for me to rise.
My gaze dropped to the ground in shame. I hadn't
had all the earthly fortunes. I had love in my life,
and laughter. But there had also been trials of
illness, and wealth, and false accusations that
took from me my world, as I knew it. I had to start
over many times. I often struggled with the
temptation to quit, only to somehow muster the
strength to pick up and begin again. I spent
many nights on my knees in prayer, asking for
help and guidance in my life. I had often been held up
to ridicule, which I endured painfully, each
time offering it up to the Father in hopes that
I would not melt within my skin beneath the judgmental
gaze of those who unfairly judged me.
And now, I had to face the truth. My life was what
it was, and I had to accept it for what it was.
I rose and slowly lifted the combined squares of my life
to the light.
An awe-filled gasp filled the air. I gazed around at the
others who stared at me with wide eyes.
Then, I looked upon the tapestry before me. Light
flooded the many holes, creating an image, the
face of Christ. Then our Lord stood before me, with
warmth and love in His eyes. He said, 'Every
time you gave over your life to Me, it became My life,
My hardships, and My struggles.
Each point of light in your life is when you stepped
aside and let Me shine through, until there was more
of Me than there was of you.'
May all our quilts be threadbare and worn, allowing
Christ to shine through!
God determines who walks into your life ..it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.'
Oh, MAAAANNNN... LK that is just beautiful !!!
Good morning girls !!!
I woke up at 5:30 this morning... rolled over and Don was already up...
I promptly rolled back over... and just now crawled my lazy butt out of bed.
SHHEEEESH... He's been out there painting the second coat on the carport. I need to just quit trying to keep up with him...
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood today... but it's supposed to be a really HOT day... better get out there and take care of those hostas pretty soon...
but first... more coffee.
Nice tarantula LK!! I don't mind anything too much, Kissing Bugs I'm a little squeamish of I guess, found one under my bed the other day, it got tangled up in the carpet and died, but they are so dangerous I worry all the time about one getting to the covers, climbing up and kissing me, Not Good!
LOL Synda, Nakked Cat!
Beautiful flower Trisha, I want my camera!! ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I didn't water anything last night, it's supposed to storm today and be cooler, nothing was wilted, so I said phooey on it! Got an exterminator coming out tonight for my carpenter ants, mud dobbers in the attic, and free termite inspection. Dave's fighting me on it tooth and nail, but that's too bad, they get paid to get stung and they have the stuff to deal with the carpenter ants. Besides, Dave's working entirely too much to have that burden. Men!!
What is a Kissing Bug? Never heard of that one.
Never mind... I just googled Kissing Bug...
I've seen those around here... but not in the bedroom...
I found a dead one under my bed last year too. I like the Wheel Bugs, I make friends with them lol
morning sistahs! Crissy, you found a dead kissing bug under your bed? Ouch!
I'm home alone again aren't I? I can't seem to catch yall on live.
Stacey, you said that about us, perfectly. We all fit into this mold of sistahood. There's some new sistahs that I haven't met yet. Penny, how are you! I'm Deborah.
I'm still cleaning the house trying to get ready for a bridal shower that's happening at my house. Killing all the spiders hiding in the corners and high on the beams is about to get the best of me. I declare I think just as I get one web down a spider from knome makes a web in the same spot the very next day.
Here you all are working in yur gardens and talking manure while I am in the office working on the computer. Just doesn't seem fair. I should be retired and living the good life (although this IS pretty good right now) and playing in the dirt.
Judy, the kids will have a good time as long as there is food! They don't really look at anything else. I had one who wanted to wear his baseball cap to graduation but Mom stepped in.
I have weeds and weeds but no time to get them out. My garden was so overgrown when I got home the cat could play kitty in the jungle. The guy that cuts my grass says my grass and garden grow twice as fast as any of his other customers. Must be the cool temps and rain they had while I was gone. I need to cut down the iris and tulips, too that a done blooming.
