I'm here!!!!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi there Trish.. what's the latest on Doris?

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

They have Doris on a Lasics (sp) drip....and were told that she must have 24 hour care from now on.....her heart condition is getting worse and the doctor does not want her walking at all.
We will see if they pay attention....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hope they'd have some success with that. Apparently she has excessive fluids somewhere.

You and your mum have been good neighbours to her. Now it's all in God's hands.

Got to go to bed now.. early errands tomorrow.
Dallas will return to the vet for another check-up. Can't wait to see his face to see how Dallas has become a spritely little thing.
We will also try to catch the other kitty.
And yes, that time of the year too to get flea control treatment for all 11 furry babies!! Maybe I can do a tax write-off on all these rescues.. hmmm..

Good night Trisha.
Cody, Synda... good night..

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

me too good night

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Night Cindy!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Yes she has......congestive heart failure, a hole in her aorta, some type of cancer...these are the things I know about....and she is 90 years old!

So happy about little Dallas' progress.....you and Kel definitely deserve Medals for his recovery....so many people wouldn't have bothered.

Have a good night....sweet dreams......

Morning Sistahs...

MORNIN' CUZ !!! ((((( HUGGZ )))))

Man... I almost NEVER fall asleep with the TV on... but I did last night, and slept so goooood !!! Don was up at daybreak, walking the kingdom, surveying the sprinklers as they were changing zones, looking for any potential problems that needed fixin'... I joined him about halfway through it and pointed out some dry spots that weren't getting "sprinkled on"... and now his head is twirling on how to add some sprinkler heads... It just never ends with all the projects that need to get done.

Gwen... were you having a MONDAY at work? You abandoned us after your morning post... I missed you.

Cindy needs that purple butterfly quilt... It's so gorgeous... I would NEVER attempt something like that....

Synda... I'm so glad you got some rain... and I hope you slept good... night rains are always the best for sleeping.

LK... Your brugs are beautiful... I just know you're going to get blooms soon... and I'm anxious to see the pictures when you do.
I got all my ingredients together last night to mix up "The Recipe" for mine, and will get it all mixed up this morning... it's time to start spraying so I (hopefully) will see some blooms this year.

Cody... how adorable are those babies... I'll bet your little boy is having a blast seeing all the new lives being born at your place.

Jaye... I so enjoyed out talk last evening... you always make me feel better... you do have an infectious laugh, but your positive nature is infectious too... I LOVE YOU TO DEATH.

Fairy Fingers... are you busy writing on your book? I want a signed copy when your published, ya know... anxiously waiting (but tapping fingers at the same time)

Marion... where are you? Miss your frequent posts... hope everything is ok with you. When is MOM having her surgery?

Everyone else that I didn't mention... I love you all... just ran out of time...

Got to get busy before Don comes looking for me.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Morning Ladies,

WOW!!!! That quit is a work of art!! There is no way I could do anything like that.

LK, do you know the names of the brugs you have? How do they survive that Teaxs heat?

AW Cody, more babies. When they get bigger they'll be following you all over the place thinking you are their mommy. Are you naming them?

Mom came home from her meeting at the Moose Lodge just as I was settling down with my maragrita ans says "Make me a little one" LOL, she fell sleep in her recliner. She's been pretty tired lately because she can't take any vitimins or pain meds because she has eye surgery next Monday. The doc made her quit taking them 2 weeks before, usually it's only 1 week.

I will be going to Marysville on Wednesday, to get my jeep and the rest of my plants and that will be IT until in the fall when I can dig up all of the rest of my plants. WHOOO HOOO!!!!!

Good morning everyone -

I have been trying to keep up with you ladies ! LOL !

We had a thunderstorm last night. I guess more are predicted for today. Good to get the rain, though.

Cindy - the moonflowers are coming up !

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

BJ I think the rain did help,I only slept 6 hrs .But they seemed to be good ones.

Kinda humid today.....seems like we are gonna have heat, but that is good.Give my plants a jump!!!!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Yeah Penny ,we just had a a little lightening and thunder, mainly just a nice rain.Looks like you guys were getting hit hard.

Cuyahoga Falls, OH(Zone 5a)

synda - Just a little thunder and lightening, and lots of rain here.

I am so glad we don't live in Green anymore. The realtor didn't tell us our home and property were in a tornado tunnel. We lived near the Akron Canton Airport, so even though there were trees on our property, there was lots of wide open space behind us. Everytime it stormed, trees and limbs fell down. I spent the following days cleaning it all up.

I never paid much attention to storms until we moved down there. Now that I think of it, it was usually worse in your direction.

Last night the radar for Green and Canton was much worse than what we got here in Cuyahoga Falls. I wonder what the new owner thinks !

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Tornado tunnels are not good. We're kinda in one but not really. The hills slope down into a gully then immediately slope back up and our street has never been hit, but they get close!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

We are far enough south that hardy ever get anything bad.Plus we live in a valley ( holler) that everything goes over top of us........LOL.

Marilyn Glen st. Mar, FL(Zone 9a)

Good Morning ladies. Well hurricane season officially opened yesterday. Sure hope we don't have any develop this year. Last year everytime we turned around there was one to watch. luckily all we ever got was a lot of rain, and not too much wind. Started on the very first day too. That's why I didn't say anything yesterday,,,did not want to jinx us. so far so good.
got to get back to sewing. took an ice tea break and decided to check on everyone. Prayers to all who need them (that's all of us) and for those who especially need them now.
Hopefully you'll get some more much needed rain,,,not downpours, just the slow easy listening kind that soaks everything real good.
Catch ya'll later

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cindy, I have a few named ones, but most are NOIDS! I use the watersorb crystals. I put about 3 tablesppons in an empty clean milk jug, and then add the water. Once they have soaked up all the water, then I dug my hole for the plants, and added a couple of inches for the watersorb. I added about 1-2 cups of watersorb, then the plant, then filled the hole back with dirt! This is my first year, with them in the full sun, so I am praying they get settled in, before the real heat gets here! But we have had up to 107 already, so I guess if they have not passed out for the heat, they are doing well!
Ladies please be careful in those storms! Those tornados can develope so quickly!
Penny, do you have a garden, any flowers? Tells us or show us what you are growing please?
BJ, that Kingdom of yours just keeps getting better and better!
Where is Jaye today, still at the vet? How are those babies doing?
LK

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marilyn, show us what you are working on please? what are you sewing? Do you take orders for all the replica uniforms you do, or do you volunteer your services?

Raleigh, NC

Morning Glory! Found my sistahs! this thread stopped popping up on my home screen about six rooms ago! been feeling so lousy didn't notice.

headaches and vertigo since returning home. But I had some great Randy White novels, so have been quietly, contentedly reading.

Mom is much improved, and has been persuaded/told they are moving to assisted living. It will cost them more than they have, I think. We'll see.

yesterday was our 18th wedding anniversary! Randall treated me right, we ate at Texas Roadhouse - Randall LOVED it - his first time. He wants his birthday there in July. He wanted to take me to a nightclub, too, but we can't find one for our age/music group. all hiphop places. then I begged off, didn't feel up to trying.

well, did about 10 minutes of housework....then goofed off on here. time to try some more.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I know what you mean, Countrymom, about limbs everywhere after a storm. We have some really old trees here, and everytime we have a storm, I spend the next day picking up dead, fallen limbs all over the yard... Don says it's just natures way of pruning... but it is a pain.
Marion has an even bigger problem... I cringe when I see storms moving through her area, cause I know she's going to be working way to hard to get all that cleaned up.

Oh, Synda... sorry you're feeling grumpy today... I have those days too, but not because of PMS... oh, ok... maybe it is PMS, but I'll never admit it.
Hang in there girlfriend.

Got everything sprayed with "The Recipe" just now... and I mean everything... hope I didn't kill anything... but I figured that if it's good for the brugs, maybe it'll work on everything else... we'll see.
Last year, I sprayed the zinnias too, and LAWD have mercy... those zinnias got as big as trees... bloomed their hearts out... so, I didn't spray them this year... not on purpose anyway.

Don just went to buy those blasted air filters for the jet skis... we about fell over when he had to pay $107 each for them... SHEESH...
Turns out that the filters got clogged with oil from over filling the oil reservoir. Guess he won't make that mistake again... it's his fault.

Better get busy now... trying to get some inside stuff done now.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Bonnie hope you get to feeling better...........
