Thanks, Victor. Who has the best buys for what you get? I don't need larger sizes, really. I'm willing to wait. Of course, if I end up moving to TX I will not see them mature, but we don't know if we'll be doing that yet. If we end up staying here I may just arrange things so that I can get away for 3 or 4 wks every winter, just so it won't seem so bad. Maybe TX for a couple of weeks and AZ for another couple of weeks. I have friends in AZ I can visit, and I love the great hiking places there.

Garden Photos of '09.... #12
Cheery photos for a rainy Sat.! Great combos Jo Ann. Loved the fritt, Patti. I guess I need to be a zone warmer for them. I did order a hellebore, & pulmonaria 'Ann'--very pretty pink.
Great to hear form you Marilyn.
Keep in mind a visit this summer. Its too cold and windy to garden so I'm catching up on notes and computer stuff.
Looking good, cousin nut!!!
Karen give diana a call at Topiary Gardens and see if she has P & C. One of the nice things about her trees are they are grown in the NE in our zones.
you could also check davidsans maples - david is a dg'er and just starting his biz - he knows his stuff as he has over 300 jm's in his yard. I know he has them.
Note: I am told by a lily person in Denmark that the lily beetles lay eggs on the frittilaries as well as lilys. So keep an eye out for them. I guess they eat other plants, but leaves the eggs only on those 2 species.
shelly nice pic of the willow - what kind is it?
Wildwood always has a fall sale, Karen. FW stuff is always great. I just got a Pixie from them that is about 30 inches high, very bushy and branched - for $30. But you do have to buy over $100 for the shipping to be reasonable. Peaches & Cream is a pretty popular one so check your local nurseries too.
Great! Congrats. Finally spring comes to Maine!
wow celeste daffs!
Yes Bill , they are up near the foundation of the house, I think thats why they opened.
Very nice, Celeste!
I LUV the pansy!
Thanks Victor, it feels good to be able to GROW THINGS again!
Thanks D-nut!
I'm sure you've been climbing the walls!
Oh yes, I have green pepper plants EVERYWHERE, except one room.... DH said NO to the bedroom!

Hee hee!
Peppers in the livingroom, office & kitchen. Dahlia's, viola's and painted daisy's in the livingroom with the peppers and Amaryllis. Zinnia's, and 2 kinds of tomato's in the bathroom along with a fern and lily bulb ect..... you get the idea......but nothing in our B-room!
plants in every room:)
The blue is an unknown repeat from a Lowe's bag of bulbs. The pinkish white is a multiflowering Festival Hyacinth. Never seen a Roman Hyacinth so I don't know if vendors are correct when they say Festival Hyacinths are "reminiscent of the old Roman Hyacinths" but they are right when they say they are "wonderfully fragrant". One 3" stem perfumes a room. Planted them next to Hyacinthus orientalis and the Festivals are a week to two weeks earlier than the orientalis.

Here are some pics I took this morning at a house in Bridgewater. Their yard is a sea of blue.
