Early morning dropping in for a few seconds, gone to make a coffee and be ever so quiet..Stacey is sleeping...

Yep, got all done what was on our Friday 'to do' list..lol..but we didn't basecoat any wood pieces..sat and chatted...Stacey is just so adorable..full of life, ahhh to be young again!

Will be sending out d-mails of thank you when things quieten down here this morning..what beautiful gifts Stacey brought to me for my birthday....gardening items..each and everyone of them was perfect...will take photo's for you all..

Posting photo taken on Kempenfelt Bay yesterday...

I'm converting Stacey, she's up early, got her basecoating while I iron some material she brought for her project..as soon as she's done we're off for the day, touring around the coast of Georgian Bay, some shopping, fabric boutique but before we return home, we have a list of wood to pick up..if you look at the photo of Stacey working just at the background is a garden stake of a butterfly that I purchased yesterday for pattern..want to bet they'll be a few of those done before Monday night..lol

Gillian, so pleased you had an enjoyable visit with your family..you must be sad to see them leave, won't be till summer before you come down for a visit..long time without them..did the young ones enjoy the trip north???

Forgot to tell you, guess who brought me a gallon jug..now I'm ready for my squirrel feeder...

Stacey, thank you sooo much for the birthday card and gifts! very sweet of you! they just arrived today.

I've been busy in the yard all day. Mrs Squirrel emptied the feeder yesterday, so had to fill it up again lol! then laid out the cement pieces on the side yard, (neice helped move the cement for me) all I have to do now is level and fill in with dirt then plant some more thyme! lol!

and DSS is outside right now shoveling up Mt Bailey and moving it all to the new beds in the front yard! I'll have a huge new bed in the backyard, and two huge new beds in the front yard! yippee!

DH is building me some redwood boxes for the gnome gardens that Neice and I created last night...should have lots of pix for you all by tonight lol! been very productive day today lolol!

well, I should get back to work(ok more like supervising! lol)

where is everyone?! lol!

Must be a nice spring day and you all are out working in the yard...or soothing aching muscles (like me! lol!)

okay... here is the beginnings of my gnome garden...well, really its my grandson David's gnome garden lol!

we planted mini gardens in those black plastic seed trays..... DH made redwood boxes with cleats on them so they sit on the porch railing...

here are all three boxes...

my neice had a blast helping me make the lil signs and create the lil gardens....

she has decided that she wants to spend every weekend with auntie...helping in the garden lol!

What a cute idea, Anjl, really nice for a child, well, nice for anybody really. I love the idea! And you did a fabulous job.

thanks...lil neighbor boy (7 yo?) was just over selling me candy bars (I'm SUCH a sucker for lil kids lol!) and loved the new mini garden lol! even helped me rearrange the lil piggie so everyone can see him better lol!

DH is building a lil gazebo, a park bench and a mini arbor to add to these

Hello All -

Well the last teen has gone home. (Hopefully LOL) and all is now quiet. Just a bit of a mess to clean up tomorrow....

But not as bad as it could be.

DS says he had a great 17th bday. I think we had a record number in the pool....a record number of party attendee's.

I told DH - maybe we're doing something right...we have more & more show up each time! Charge admission next time! LOL

I'll look for a pic....not sure b'c I didn't take any myself. Asked DH to take them all. This seemed to be a Milestone bday for me. So I just wanted to take in the moment....and not take pics...

I can't believe I have a 17 year old.
