Phyllis sounds like Bridzilla moment but your DH really should have defended you.. No apology needed for venting.. Golly I have done enough venting and whining for the whole year already..

BJ looks FABULOUS..

Cindy what about a hosta garden with some semi compact butterfly bushes behind them.. That way you have a 3 tier garden with the big hedges.. Love the story .. thank you..

We have a ghost here who likes to take things and move them around the house.. My moms ring that she gave me (was too small) that was kept in my jewelry box went missing, and then returned in its box about 6 months later.. Funny same day it showed back up Maxs cell went missing.. My bedroom door --opens, closes and locks by itself.. Was sitting on the end of the bed when it happened the last time and about fell off the bed.. Max just looked at me and said well I guess it wanted us to stay in here. . The kids were at a friends house.. Very strange..

Well gonna try to cook something for the kids dinner.. Hope I can stand the smell..

I don't know, Cindy. Phyllis made it for LK... I picked it up from Phyllis to take to LK next week. If Phyllis hadn't carved LK's name in the concrete, I'd have played dumb and said I don't know what either of them are talking about... "What birdbath?"
IT'S BEAUTIFUL

Hey BJ, that is really looking nice. I see my leaf birdbath, I need to figure out how to make a base for it! Phyllis, what did you use?
Cindy, that is one heck of a story. I would have been scared... well you know what! LOL
Kim, good luck on the house. I hope you get a decent offer on it, and hope the inspector is a good one!
Trisha, get some rest.
Bon, sounds like you over did it also, flying all over the place to help your friends out. You need to take it easy too!

I know it is, and I want one so bad. The EE that Deborah sent me is hiding in the ground. Must go see if I can see it pokinfg out of the ground. How long does it take them to get that size?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Where is Stacey? Still reading books? They must be really good to keep her away from here.
Check these out, of course there are no prices so I ordered the catalog. I love these kind of planters.

Well, the Mexicans finally gave up for today... they really worked hard.
Here's a view from the shop...
They have to come back tomorrow and sweep the sand into the cracks again... they've already pounced it with the compactor... but you get the idea of it's shape.

And here's the beginning of the wall in the secret garden.
This wall will be even with the bottom step there leading into the house.
Then, there will be another wall even with the second step behind this wall, and leaving about a 10' area for a table and chairs on the right side.

wo wow wow BJ your sister is very talented! I love her bird art and I think My favorite is the seven signs of spring.. So cute!
Your walk looks great and of course I love the daffies..

Made it through dinner and think Im going to pop a movie in and curl up for bed.. I have a antibiotic my mom was given when she had this bug I may try.. Although its strong and makes you loopy so I need to wait until the kids go to bed.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Cindy it may be I don't recall but it is Portland cement and sand and water with dry wall fiber tape running through it for added strength

and I made a "mold" for the leaf to go on by using sand and wetting it to the depth I wanted for the "bowl" part and also used a think trash bag under and over the leaf to keep it from tearing or sticking to the leaf

BJ, I don't have the two bottom daffs, at least not yet. There are alot to open yet. Does that bottom one have pink in it?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Your sisters work is so nice. I love the one with robins, seven signs of spring. Too bad it is sold!

Hey Kim, just remember we are here for you anytime you need to rant and rave. So now when the house is your how soon will you be able to move in. When do you usually start back to work?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Ummm... Cindy.... nobody else sent me any daffs... so, they must have come from you... the only ones I had before were the common dwarf yellow ones. And let me tell you... they are dwarfed next to the ones you sent.
Nope, the bottom one isn't pink... it's a peachy orange... and beautiful. That prissy yellow one up there is so gorgeous up close.
