http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/959765/#new
Here's a picture of my new ferns I got from the Home Show the other night. Not sure if I told you about them. He said make me an offer and I said 5 for $10. He said ok. I ended up with 7 for $12. :O)
Donna, if you have what is going around it's a virus and the doc can't help ya. Ya just gotta letit run it's course, :(. Sorry ya feeling so yukie.
Yep Jaye muscle, I'm turning all this FAT into MUSCLE. I'm already seeing a difference around my ribs and belly.
Morning ladies !!!
Donna... Cindy's right... there's a virus going around... takes about 10 days to run it's course... hang in there, sistah... hope you feel better soon.
Cindy... don't you love that feeling when you feel those fat cells replaced by muscle? Just the work out I've had this weekend, and as sore as I am from straining muscles I don't regularly use, I'm hoping it's at least going to be worth it in fat burning.
I just wanted to pop in before my day get's started... going to get dressed and get ready for the crew to show up... Ya'll have a good day.
Sistah Flaming Kim posted this in a swap thread.. :D She's lost, so, kinda bringing it over..
"Jaye what is this group cd was I on vacation tell me please
GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOD MORNING
Well looks like DAY WERE YOU JUST WANT TO STAY IN BED. I hate when I type all that and its in capitol letters so no changing
Well I have a meeting today about the house and I have gotten the loan and the 20 percent down payment but people and Mother are not so happy about me buying the house but I think all will trun out fine I just can't drink anymore and maybe just maybe I will have to stop smoking so I can save money NOT You guys will just have to send me drinks But I will see I still have to do some more detective work
I had call non emergency number to ask about the neighborhood but they couldn't tell me but the man that lives next store is in the service and he said it quite and nice the lot is 72 by 142 Full basement 3 bedrooms kitchen and dinning room 2 bathroom its 1308 feet up and down stair and it has a dry bar and shelves lots of shelves and the window well has one of the big window that let alot of sun in the basement. The house is selling for 148,000 but the taxes are high $5873 so that alone is 490 a month But One of the things that really made me want this is the school a half mile down is named after my Grandmother Beulah and I think that is a sign. OK I feel better now
Hope you all have a great day will come back latter.
Hugs
Flaming Kim
I was thinking I was in Sweet Interruption 111 Sorry"
I brought my response over also, lol. More coffee..................
Wow i can't beleive how cheap homes are over that side of the states. That house here would be like $450,000 or higher. Be sure to have the house inspected also before signing any papers. Anything that is wrong with the house will have to be taken care of by the sellers. It's really stressful buying a house, they start asking for all kinds of papers by the time they are done they will know your whole life history, lol. My DBF Rick used to do home inspections so if there is anything you'd like to know, Kim just ask away.
Donna, be sure to drink lots of liquids ya don't want to get dehydrated. I remember when I was a kid mom would give me 7-Up, but I found out years later that Pepsi or Coke is better than 7-Up. Can't remember why. I prefer to drink Gatorade when I'm under the weather.
Let's start again! Good morning everyone!
Don't want to bother your MIL, Susan, so coffee's on here and I'm taking the lazy way.. dougnuts everyone!!!
Donna, don't worry too much about the gardenias. I can't plant them now anyway. Yep, I agree with Cindy and BJ...sounds pretty much you have the virus. Take nothing, and let it runs its' course. All those bacteria got to come out. Pedialyte not to dehydrate.
Cookie, looks like a good deal on the ferns. And thanks for letting us know about the co-op. I've never used that product before, but willing to try anything to improve the garden. Having your mum home, got to be a big relief for you and your dad.
Kim, the cd I was referring to was something the Mixed Seeds and Nuts folks were doing for Audrey's daughter (Lisa) some time back, to cheer her up.. wish her well....when she was going through a rough medical issue. Might be Trisha that told us about it here.. I think it's a good idea of that group to want to do it for Lisa.
Awesome price for that home Kim. It's always better to own then renting. Plenty of room for your stuffs now with that full basement!!
And heed Cindy's advise. Get it professionally inspected before committing.

I agree about the inspection. It may cost you a few hundred dollars, but well worth it. They can find foundation problems, or plumbing problems, or even termite problems. Better safe than sorry.
Morning everyone. Trisha, glad to hear the move is done. Now we need to hear from Laura, when she can find her computer.
Bj, don't work too hard. Hopefully you have some guys to help you out. We will be waiting for the final pictures.
LK
LK, care to join Janice's 12 month quilt block swap? Think I can handle this one...
Guess I missed that info, where is it? What is a 12 month swap?
LK
Trisha.. curious here.. what is a "Tam"??
Can't believe this.. it's getting cooler today! Supposed to be in the 70's. Can't be out there to turn this flab into muscles!! Lol!!!
Well yesterday, when I was out there doing happy garden stuffs.. I also caught some baaaad allergens!!! My face and body itch all over and had to take Benadryl!! Goodness, the allergies in exchange of the cruds in almost spring time?
Maid M, don't forget the pictures of your muse... as for fabrics, I can post a pic if you want.. don't know if I had taken them all, as I keep adding on to the stash!!
Ok, see me later everyone. Errands to run..
LK, Janice posted the link above. Come on and sign your months away to fabric, sistah!

LK, it looks more like a rose with no thorns than a poinsettia. Never seen one like that.. lovely.
OMG... LK... that's just beautiful... I've never seen one that big either.
Well.. I got my wish (sort of)... I got 6 Mexicans scurrying around my front yard, slaving over some really heavy equipment, and wielding shovels. I was so surprised when the same crew showed up that built the retaining wall around our channel... they all had to greet me (in Spanish, of course)... such sweet guys... I got to know them all pretty well in the 3 months they were here before.
AND the best part... I mentioned to the owner (our neighbor), that I wanted to use the left over blocks from the retainer wall to build a couple short walls in the secret garden to create a level space for a picnic table... maybe at a later date...
Well... he sprayed off the wall dimensions this morning, and told me his crew will do that tomorrow... NO CHARGE... because I already have the materials to do it, and the crew will be over at his house tomorrow to do a couple of little jobs that won't take them all day... PLUS... I'll have enough pavers to fill in the level area between the walls... OMG... I'm elated... Life is good today...
But, I'm still sore.
I will post the pictures. Nope I hadn't forgotten, it is on my list of things to do today! Only way I can get through the next 2 weeks.
Morning everyone, may I have some coffee please. Think I will pass on the donuts--would love one but I am still trying to be a good girl. Want my chocolate ice cream cone at the festival!!
Looking for mid 80's here today. Oh the joy of opening all the windows , filling the house with pollen, the sneezing, coughing, whizzing. Well you get the picture.
Off to do some chores! Back later.
No The asking price started at $198,000. and is now down to $148,000. No one has lived there scent July of 08 He was in the service and was transferred out of state but they still own the house and need to get rit of it before it goes into foreclosure Than the bank takes it
Morin ladies
been busy workin outside and inside.
went looking for inside shutters yesterday for the bedroom and the kitchen but looks like I will change my idea on them as to do just the bedroom 2 windows is 230 and the kitchen one will be even more as it is an odd size....oh well
now as for the house and Kim ...that is a nice price for what it has ...as for the cost around the states of course it depends on where it is not just state wise but what town and the neighborhood....along with how much work it needs to get fixed up.
Where we lived in Belvidere Illinois we never would have been able to get the house we have now with the 2 acres up there in the country.
BJ, you are blessed sistah!! I sure could use a crew here too!!
Sneezing along with you Maid M.
Kim, $50,000 off is huge chunk of chain. Now why is your mum upset about this?
Kel's gonna run the errands this morning. So nice to stay in this morning!
Kim, I wish you luck in getting the house. But if they lowered it to 148,000 that means you can still make a lower offer. I just want you to get a good deal.
Morning BJ, glad to hear you are getting another area p aved. Sounds like a great deal! Any of those guys good looking! LOL
Phyllis, hello. Don't work too hard. Glad to hear from ya.
LK
Hey I have to go get ready to talk with an agent I have all kinds of question before I SIGN
My mom is worried that I have a seasonal job and won't be able to afford But it my cululation are right I make 5400 a month that not clean and with everything it comes to about 2000 so all the rest I can save and you guys will have to come see me ^_^
Ok I will be back but I have lots to do before 11 will came back and type some more
Flaming Kim
Now you know BJ.. if LK was there, those Mexicans won't be working.. they'd be flirting in Spanish with her!!!
Lolol!
Oops.. hi Phyllis..
No spanish here. I have no clue, what they would be saying! I have been here for more than 20 years, and still don't know the language.
But it never hurts to look!
LK
Yep... LK... about half of them are... and muscular... not taking their shirts off though...
I agree, Kim... that sounds like a good deal to me...
Hello everyone!!!!!!
Hope everyone enjoys and have a bless day.
My son comes home today until Thursday morning.WOOO HOOO!!!!!!!
Hey Cody. Will you give him lots of hugs from all of us? I know you will love all the time you get with him.
LK
I just know how you feel, Cody... have a great time with your son.
LOL... it's so hard for me to stay in the house with all this going on right outside my front door... he said he charges extra if I help, so I have to stay away... I really should be cleaning house today, but I can't wrap my head around that right now.
Why is it that those guys don't take their shirts off? We have some gardeners here that other peeps hire. When it is hot outside they coverup from head to toe, with sweatshirts
OMG I would die of heat stroke. Maybe they don't want to tan. They do easily, my daughter is half Mexican and she gets so dark in the summer.
Hey LK i will.Yes i won't back on until he goes to bed.
So everyone enjoy your day............
