There are some cream-colored cats, JD, but they're not that common. It probably has a lot to do with genetics. The cream-colored gene probably wouldn't be dominant and would get bred out of the line fairly soon. I'm just guessing at a scientific explanation here. Did you expect me to say it's because cats are so much smarter than dogs?
Other Peoples Gardens
Pretty much ! lol
What a hoot.
Close as cats come to blonde are the pale peach colored ones.
Now there's an idea - pale peach! I could do that if I ever want to change hair color. Hmmm....how will I color harmonize with my clothes?
OMG That is too funny.
I'm going to take a chance here and tell you about my dreaded old lady image.
People used to ask me how I could keep on going as a self sustaining artist, when a teaching or office job would be a guaranteed income.
I used to reply."I have an image of myself with a peach dandelion haircut, Montgomery Wards house dress and white cotton socks with natueralizer shoes, sitting in a porch in one of the worst neighborhoods"
That image kept me constantly creating new ideas for clay.
Well with peach hair I'd be easy to spot in a parking lot. Maybe I should paint the car to match my peach hair???
Yes, Jo Ann, I can see how your creative spirit would be spurred on by that image!
Last year I jokingly mentioned that I had showered, put on makeup, curled my hair, put on clean clothes, white socks and heels and I was ready to go shopping. I feel the person I told that to actually believed me! Scary!
I am sure there might be a Gardner who sports such duds.
I sometimes put my foot in my mouth that way.
Speaking of putting "foot in mouth", last week my grandson (almost 3 years old) was showing me how he could do it and I knew I had done it years ago. It took me a few tries but I did it, much to his howling laughter.
dont cha luv it?
He's a cutie.
What a gorgeous day we have here! Sunshine, 36 and heading into the 40's.
Thanks, Jo Ann, he is a cutie. He's almost always smiling.
Still waiting for ALL the snow to go.
Men are here to install the electric.
pirls next photo will be the one of her wearing her high heels and socks on the beach in the Bahamas.
If she doesn't post it, I will !
I'll look for it right now.
Nice Pirl.

This was a tour of another DG member's, she was on a Garden Conservatory tour a couple of years ago and I love her style so made sure to see it. Too many pictures to post so here's the entire thread I did http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/605799/
Here is a local neighborhood drive I did a couple of years back entitled Neighborhood homes and meatballs!
