Happy Birthday, Orry.......hope you like that white furry stuffed animal with little pretend green beans in its mouth!
New Addition Part ll - Sophie's Choice
Glad you're all ok! Warm wishes (if you need it...it is very warm here today).
OMG! She gets cuter every day! She's gonna be larger than Columbus I think---depending on the size of Brian's hands-LOL. I found a website just for bunnies--called bunspace.com/ It is fashioned somewhat after myspace--it is just too cute...and so funny! Also a good place for house rabbit info.
What a great web page! Thank you for the link but you should of warned me you could adopt some. I can not let Brian go there....no, no, no! lol
It'll be our secret ;-)
Yippee! A new pic of Sophie.
I love it!!!
=^..^=
My, Sophie, what big ears you have grown!! You are just the cutest little matinee idol I've seen!!!
Glad to see Sophie is thriving---& so are her owners---a new pet seems to do that---& I'm with Brian---I babytalk to my pointer---she loves it---my dale walks away! He probably thinks I'm talking about his behavior---he always walks away when I start in on him! Sophie is too polite to do that!
DH loves Hyacinth's and every spring I buy him one in a pot or force it in the house. Just one though as too many is stinky. Anyways...look what I found today...the name AND the color are perfect!!

Perfect, Pixie, just perfect.
Oh yeah! Wonderful! Sophie's good karma just keeps flowing!
That's so cool, Pixie!! What a perfect gift for DH!!!.......from Madame Sophie, of course. LOL
Very pretty! (Wonder what girls Madame Sophie has available. ^_^)
Victor!!! Get your mind out of the gutter!!! You need some sleep!
What better way to relax?
Oh, Man!!
Hee hee!
Doesn't Sophie have the cutest, chubbiest cheeks? awwwwwww
We have a Bubba update.....Bubba may be Bubbette!
Yesterday DH & friend drove in the driveway at night and saw Bubba with 2 other bunnies. The bunnies were a little bigger than Sophie but one had one white arm and the rest was the color of Bubba. We think those are Sophie's brother and sisters but we are not sure. This would explain why Bubba dosen't want us to bring her in the house......she has babies out there! I am thankful I didn't make her stay in that day like I was going to.....her babies would of died without her!! We have not seen her today but she tends not to come out every day. We think she booted Sophie because she was the runt and weak, the other 2 are a bit bigger and neither one is completely white. One is brown like Bubba with a white tail the other is all brown except one arm...from the shoulder to the paw is pure white like Sophie and so is it's tail.
Wow - the plot thickens! I say you take them all in!
Good grief Victor...by spring time I could be over run with bunnies!!!!
You're used to it with all your kids, and now grandkids!
They wore diapers.... if you get my drift.
The new plot makes sense! But who is Sophie's papa and Bubba's wayward mate??? He must be white? Don't think Bubba would be happy as a house bunny, but will always like to visit. She may bring the little ones w/her some day.Do you think she knows?.......................................^_^
Think of all the fertilizer!
Celeste--send the "fertilizer" to Victor...via snail mail! LOL
No thanks, Phoebe - I have enough 'pellets' from my deer 'friends'!
Phoebe I think Bubba or Bubbette did in fact smell Sophie on DH. He was the first one to pick her up and he always smells likes Sophie. It would explain why she comes right out when she see's him out back too...he smells right! LOL
Bunnies can be trained to a litter box. They can also be spayed and neutered by a rabbit vet.
Rabbits are vets?!! Amazing.
I set you up for that, Victor. When can I expect the check in the mail? Apparently rabbits need vets that have specialized training specifically on rabbits.
Sorry - I don't split fees! (Peas - yeah.) Wow - more specialization! Even animal health care is a racket.
Very interesting thickening of the plot, Celeste! I think you have it figured out accurately, and I think we should change Bubba to Bubbles at this point! LOL
Bubba or Bubbles (good name Louise) came out and ate this afternoon. We filled the dish up in hopes she bring the others back for a hearty meal before the Nor'easter hits. They must have a safe place because it's been very cold some nights and the coyotes are coming up into the field at night. DH & DS each take turns spotting the fields so the coyotes won't come up as close. DH does it up until 11pm-midnight then DS comes home from work anywhere's between 2:30am and 4:30am. I'm usually up at 6:30 am so we don't give them alot of free time and hopefully save a few deer and rabbits in the process.

She just gets cuter with every new pic. Does she have her very own christmas stocking with carrots and beans in it??
