Another 8 weeks she could be aching all over.... ^^_^^ now her ear would be really standing up. Sorry trying to do bunny ears here..........
New Addition Part ll - Sophie's Choice
What a cutie!
Her ears stand up perfectly...Bubba bunny's doesn't. lol
Did anyone notice the dogs tongue trying to lick Sophie in the photo? I have one female that will clean anything that comes into the house. She is a compulsive licker....we were afraid to breed her for fear she would lick all her puppies bald!
Her name is Jade and she's almost 7 now....too late to change her name now. I should of as soon as I realized what a licker she was!
The other dogs will walk into the room with wet ears and I ask if Jade gave them their daily bath for the day. My dogs have the cleanest ears around....so does my cat.
Good grooming habits are a sign of a good mother I think. Puppies!!!! I bet Sophie would love to have some puppies to play with!
OOH! Just found Sophie...
How beautiful, Pixie, how very beautiful.
How did I ever miss this?
Duh.
Amazing growth rate!!! She IS a cutie. We all have to get our daily fixes of our Sophie. Sometimes multiple fixes - LOL.
Hi Jan...
I was thinking the same thing. I had to go back and read the previous thread I was so enthralled.
Hi, Sharon! Are you having vegetable soup for dinner? I enjoyed the article - as always. I bet Sophie would like some vegetable soup-sans the soup.
I think Bubba Bunny is warm and cozy down under the ground. I would like to investigate geo-thermal heating and cooling. Like when you go in a cavern and it is pretty much a constant temp.
Actually I am invited out for dinner....straying away from the veggie soup. Thanks, though. It was fun to write.
Now I need to get caught up on the entire PixieBunny family. Pixie is an incredible magnet for strays of all kinds. It's the sunshine of her heart that shines through, dontcha think?
That's how she became Sophie's Choice! Animals are very intuitive about these things
I'm always on the lookout for a stray chick to take in.
Ahhhh, Victor...
You leave me with no words....
Ha, Sherry....
Be careful what you ask for when Victor is involved.
Oh my you guys are too funny!
Hi Sharon glad you found this thread and enjoying Sophie's journey. I can't begin to tell you what she has done for my family....giggles and amazement every single day. She's like a little angel sent from above...she has transformed and melted my hunting DH to my DMH.
(Dear Mushy Husband). This man is the one they go and get when they need some braun not brain to move an object on a job site. My husbands name is Brian...his boss called him "BRUTUS".
I feel I need to clarify...he's not stupid, in fact he's pretty smart about alot of things....kinda a jack of all trades. But he loves being outdoors so he worked construction, loved the physical labor but used his brain too in measurments, codes, ect... So, to see this 6oz little ball of white fur turn him into a babbling, cooing,
lisp-whispering baby Huey is hysterical. Our DS just rolls his eyes when his father starts talking to Sophie. DS also prays none of his friends stop by at that moment! lol
You are very lucky pixie. Marshmellow men are definitely keepers. They make wonderful friends and fathers. DS will understand when he matures into a marshmellow man.
Hi Pix, I think your hubby is a keeper, too!
No doubts there.
Been trying to talk Marshmellow Man into a Santa Suit for Christmas Eve. lol I think I need to have Sophie ask him. ^_^
Maybe if Sophie is his beard!
Celeste, I too cannot believe how fast Sophie is growing. She is so cute!
I know...she's been with us almost a month now but doubled her size!!
Are you litter pan training her, Celeste?
Right now DH is using chucks....the white cloth like ones with the blue waterproof backing and it seems to be working. We can tell when she squats down a certain way that she is about to pee so that helps.
Just got my Sophie fix for the moment. A AHH!!! Now to get ready for the boys to come over for awhile. 2 and 4 yr. old. Too bad it's raining. LOL
LOL--I need my daily fix as well! Was wondering...It's warmed up in the northeast....any sign of Bubba?
Yup, found him last night, he's fine! Brought him in our mudroom showed him where the food is and left the door open. He ate and left at will...DH followed his tracks to under the house, it's warm there.
Boris (well I think it was Boris as Natasha looks the same just a little bit smaller) hopped over for a visit last nite. His ears are still brown which is really cute ahhhhh. So glad to hear Bubba is dining in. Hopefully he is getting over his heartbreak.
Great news about Bubba!! I was holding my breath! If he's smart, he'll probably be moving in with his bunny fur suitcase sooner than later. I mean, how cushy could it be under the house compared with the mud room?
Whew! That's a relief! Now I can get on with my day!
Is Sophie okay with Bubba grabbing some of her limelight?? Does she have an ego yet?! An agent? Maybe we should call her the 'South China Doll'.
Good one, Victor!! LOL She IS a little diva, isn't she???? But she strikes me as having a good moral fabric and obvious good taste. She'll cut Bubba some slack, I predict.
Hee hee Victor! There is actually a well known horse here called 'China Doll'.
Not ready for her close-up!
How do you look tired when your eyes are always red?!!
