LOL No, they(her greens) are all in the frig. but she does have a new red collar with diamonds on it under the tree! lol
New Addition Part ll - Sophie's Choice
Hey, as long as she thinks they're real!
This thread is a better novel than the one I'm presently reading! Hopefully this summer, Sophie should get to know Mom & siblings--is there a barn where they all can live? And coyotes may not be the worst threat---weasels are. They can get in anywhere. They killed all of my DH's bantams. On that happy note---
Oh Celeste she is so cute... can't believe how much she has grown... whatever you and brian are feeding her is working!!!! totally cute!!!!
Gee, Celeste, thanks for sending me to Bulbmart again! I always enjoy these little side excursions...
It took me forever to get through all the posts about Sophie, but what a wonderful story. I agree. Reading all about Sophie and Bubbles (or Bubba) has been such joy. Sophie has gotten so BIG!!!! And Bubbles is such a charmer.
It's good to have you back Candyce....Merry Christmas!!!
Candyce, instead of "Happy Holidays" it almost seems like the caption should be "Drive carefully" or "Snow carefully?"
LOL!
perhaps
Yes, Candyce, it's so nice to see you posting again!!
Celeste - I'm so impressed at your family's coyote watch schedule! I'll bet that Bubbles is filling her cheeks with the pellets so she can take some back to her babies. I doubt that she will ever accept Sophie, and isn't it just the best irony that the discarded runt is living like a queen with red diamond necklaces and cool, crispy beans for the asking while the chosen "acceptable" siblings are shivering and dodging the coyotes. Man...... Life can be cruel if you don't get booted into Celeste's yard!! LOL
Celeste--I was visiting bunspace this am and learned they have special groups you can join. There is a group for all white bunnies--take a look...

Columbus joined the lionhead and tiny rabbits groups.
With all the snow we've had lately, I was thinking about how you found Sophie, helpless out in the cold, and what a sad ending it could have been for that baby...I guess you CAN fool mother nature! LOL^_^
Very sweet pics. Looks like she is anxious for Santa to come. So adorable.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh!
So cute!
ADORABLE!!!!
Thanks for the pix - I was starting to twitch w/o my Sophie fix :)
so cute....
a lady that worked for me used to breed bunnies she'd use their pellets as fertilizer in her house plants.
I think what Sophie saw -- was Brian coming in to the room!!! She is just adorable. We all turn into mush when we see her. LOL
She is just beautiful, and so, so sweet. Your tree is so pretty and she is just adorable looking at it. I'll bet she knows there are tons of presents under that tree just for her!! LOL
How are you dealing with her potty training issues since she's living indoors?
Sophie has taken to stomping too, not sure what she wants but she does indeed stomp!
next time you came to my garden you have to bring her... can just imagine what kind of pictures we will take!!!!
LOL! Now Columbus is bugging Santa for some!
What a cute bunny photo!!
This thread gives me such a chuckle.
The picture of Sophie looking at the tree looks like a cover for a childrens book about a Holiday Bunny.
Anyone going to write it?
Marylin can illustrate it.
I love it, JoAnn......Sophie is now a Cover Girl. This thread is the best yet!!!
After reading Dahlianuts account of her solstice dance and "bee notes" in her garden journal ,I vote for her to write the book.
You can do it Dn " Winter cold is everywhere--- wee snowy bunny named Sophie living with Pixie her guardian - - - commom thats a start.
I'd love to illustrate it---did a brown bunny for my GD's book! Related Sophie's story to my DIL---she's thinking of a bunny pet for the kids next year!
I'll tweak my favorite picture of Soph.
Somehow I think I've seen something like it,white bunny with stars overhead.
Maybe the image could meld from stars to tree lights and work that into the story.
I am never so creative as the days just before Christmas.
The mo-jo is really workin.
O that would make such a luvly story. How Bubbles abandoned Sophie because she was white and so little and Bubbles needed to raise her other babies after the death of Bubba (her mate) by the eagle. How Sophie was lost and cold and hunted by the eagle and then rescued by Pixie. We could have a subplot about how brave Bubbles was raising her remaining babies through the scarey ice storm. It would end with Sophie finding her ruby collar under the Christmas tree and Bubbles watching through the window and twitching her ears with happiness. Ok I'm all misty now. I need a tissue.
I knew anyone who includeds Bees notes in their garden notes could come up with a great plot.
