OK OK Marilyn could paint in a "bird of prey" tree ornament.
You know "so near and yet so far"
New Addition Part ll - Sophie's Choice
Maybe Bubbles could look in the window and see Sophie warm and comfy in her new house and have a sweet / sad moment where she remembers losing Bubba to the eagle and sacrificing Sophie so her other two could survive and being really happy for Sophie. *sniffle*
Um--great ideas, but stop the presses....you are missing the point....devine intervention making Pixie and Brian "Spohie's choice" and the impact of that choice. Maybe Celeste would like to weigh in on this? The pics are beautiful!
The pics are both extremely beautiful.
Hey Cat its beginning to take shape.
Of course Pixie and Brian are pivotal to the story.
The hand of man is evident in the interiors where humans put up the tree and turned on the heat.
Maybe their faces reflected in one of those glassy balls.
Momma bunny peering in the window states the natural world to the human world.
I'm not a writer just a nudger to anyone who has the knack.

Pixie and Brian are very, very important to Sophie and her story. O definitely the 'hand of man' ge1836 represented by Brian who to Sophie would be a deep, rumbly voice with big warm hands offering shelter, food and safety. I would give him a soft, brown beard that Sophie would see as comfort, like the nest where she was born. She would cuddle up to it when she was trembling "with her eyes shut tight as tight can be when the lady with the musical voice who smelled like flowers" rescued her and brought her into the 'nest as big as the world with no sky'. Pixie would be love and spirit to Sopie. Oops got carried away trying to see the world as Sophie might see it as a little frightened bunny and way ahead of things cuz of course Pixie should choose the plot for Sophie's story. Wonderful ge1836: Pixie and Brian's faces reflected in the glassy balls, heads together watching Sophie discover her ruby (and maybe amethysts too for her violet eyes?) collar. Merry Christmas Celeste and Brian and God bless you for rescuing and sharing Sopie with us.
You guys are too funny! DH & I just did Christmas with the family and this thread turned into a novel while we gone. lol
I've been reading out loud to Brian as I went about catching up on this thread and pretty soon he's pulled a chair up beside me.
He can't believe how far along in the thought process you guys had gotten and even had pictures too!
Well you'll be happy to know Sophie got her diamond collar.
I'm SO glad you and Brian luved this. I was just looking back and saw you hadn't posted in awhile and thought OMG we just hyjacked your true Sophie story. You need to decide on the plot Pixie and Brian because I was in the store today looking at carrots and thinking like Sophie ^_^ Really, truly just for fun I would like to write this and I will just send it to you and Brian for your enjoyment. It truly is a wonderful true story. Well, honestly, the photos/illustrations would really be great to include too so if you and Brian don't mind perhaps the artists could join in too. O BTW do think they are keen? hmm seems that ge1836 was the troublemaker who started this whole hyjacking
O cross posted. Isn't that just the cutest with Sophie in her new collar? I just KNOW Bubbles was peeking in the window. What a happy, happy ending for Sophie. Thanks again Celeste and Brian. What a wonderful heartlifting true story.
Hey Nut!!!!
Dont think of it as a hijacking so much as a teeny diversion.
Dahlianut, you just have such a way with words! You all could get together to make it a best seller and keep Sophie in bean and carrots for the rest of her life. :^)
Beautiful necklace for the little Christmas Queen, Celeste!
i think i want to be a white rabbit in my next life!
Exquisite! She was born to diamonds! Albinos have all the fun! LOL
Merry Christmas, Sophie, Celeste and Brian and all of your family!.....and to all of my DG pals......I wish you all the red diamonds of your dreams!!
Louise
Beautiful necklace for our Sophie. I do love the story thus far. Please DO write it and illustrate. I think it would be a best-seller. Seriously.
I have lurked on this thread watching Sophie grow through love and devotion. I decided tonight to add something to Sophie's story.
Sophie IS Christmas in the truest spirit. She brings love and is loved.
So true venu!
O thanks so much for sharing that venu209. Indeed Sophie has brought so much luv to all the 'NE of somewheres'. and she is loved by all.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
Hi Venu! I'm glad you posted, and I do believe your right about Sophie. She is loved and brings out love in most everyone she comes into contact with. Except maybe Orryanna..she has the devil in her when it comes to little animals. Her mother is having a heck of a time teaching her to be nice. Needless to say Brian didn't bring Sophie around her on Christmas Eve.
Here's the little devil herself looking at the Christmas presents. She just looked at them like "What do you want me to do with that?"
Once we ripped the paper off a little so she could see the toy she was a bit more animated!! lol
Oh, Orry is so cute! She'll love Sophie when she's a bit older. Oliver, our DS's dog, runs up to the kids, gives a smacky kiss, & is off before they can touch him--SMART! I loved Sophie in her Christmas collar--she's a lovely girl!
I love Orry's boots. How cute is that?
I know...she has 2 pairs of shoes and those boots all are 'Bobux'. They don't fall off kids feets....I love them!!!
She has these purple shoes with kitty on it. http://www.foosies.com/proddetail.asp?prod=BBX%2DCATL&cat=12
But you can get them in a ton of different colors and characters.

I want the kitty shoes! Really. I want the kitty shoes. Tell me there are Robertux for big kids!
Me too!
Or for bunnies!
I don't know Victor. A bunny might not appreciate kitties on their feet ^_^
My grandkids had kitties & dragonflies--too cute---Grant is wearing fuzzy brown boots--& they stay on!
Nice thought to add, Weeze! And so true!
Orry is such a cutie! I, too, love her boots, her outfit and the look on her face!
This thread is just filled with love and joy and caring and warmth ... just like all of my DG friends.
I too love those little booties!!!
I've said that more than once...
VICTOR!!!!
heehee
Sherrie..."Shake your bootie" mean anything to you? Victor ain't thinking FEET!!!!!
Victor - you are incorrigible -- and we both you you are too "physically mature" to do anything about dem dere booties anyhoo :^)
I guess I'm old. It used to be 'groove thang' for my generation. Keep up the good work, Victor.
