Debra, doesn’t seem fair that you have to work on a Saturday, well I use to do it too but back then it was OT for me so I didn’t mind so much. With the job I have now I avoid it as much as possible, being on salary stinks sometimes.
Karen, love that sage stuffing too, wouldn’t even need the Turkey except the stuffing comes out better when it is cooked in the bird. I think I zoned out before you did last night, the meds are finally wearing off.
Mary ty for the zone links, they put me in 6B (-5 to 0) but like Peg I go by the weather, it has not gone below 0 here by the ocean in years so I’m using 7A now I just have to convince the plants. Teehee
Beck the map was your geography lesson for the day, glad you and everybody else enjoyed it to. Hope you could see the RI marker, the state is so small they had to put it off to the side. Yup KS and MO are smack in the middle, I been saying I don’t care where we have the RU because I’m a gonna have to fly there anyway. I think Bonnie was looking at Chicago because it is a lot cheaper to fly into a big city.
Ella, you were the first one into the room this morning so that mean you have to make the coffee for all of us. I get the second cup, that is if I type fast enough. I printed out the PVC shelve link you put on the seed coop, I going to look into that. Was it really easy, did you build it yourself or does it require two people? I wouldn’t worry about the angle cuts now, your burg cuttings should be just fine.

It is not going to be a nice day weather wise in RI today, warm, around 60 but cloudy, and windy with drizzle. The sun should be shining, because Clemen is coming. It is a long drive for her and Drea, at least 3 hours to the first College and then another ½ hour back tracking to the second one which is near me. I only have to drive 15 min to meet up with her, that doesn’t really seem fair but it works well for me and they need to tour the campuses. I can’t wait to meet her and her DD, I was suppose to go to LI the week I landed in the hospital so this mini RU is a long time coming. We won’t have much time and I am not sure if we will make it back to my house but it will be wonderful to see her in person. There will be lots of hottie hugs for everyone.

Oh sorry about that Donna. Didn't know the rule. So just made a second pot of fresh coffee. Got cream and sugar this morning so passing the cups all around.

The one food I have nevr been able to like from the south is grits. Nasty tasing tuff stuff to me. Only thing grits s good for is killing ant hills. But since it so cold here and out of oatmeal at the moment made some up and gringing with evry mouthful, but it is warmign the tummy up. So folks help yourselves to a bowl of grits with that coffee too (_______) .

Donna. You can do it yourself. I do recommend getting ro borrowing a pipe cutter though. Worked myself stuip building the forst one tryign to use a small saw to cut all the pipe and also it a good idea to take a marker and label each piece with a letter or number. Ya get alot of smaller pieces and side and bars look close to the same. Make sure ya use glue and hammer them in.

Here ran out in cold just for you. I have some already in the house and have these which I used out side allsummer. They made great end stands for holding up the cuke vines all summer in the air. Sometime over the weekend these guys will get cleaned up and brought inside for use too.

I have three more cut and ready to put together, only thing is with this next ones, I will put an dextra bar where ya see th eyellow lines I drew. They hold flast and small pots good but when ya start trying to fill one with nothing but wet heavy six and 8" pots it makes th epipe sag a bit.

I have found that getting them trays like they use in ids lunch rooms, work greattoo for fitting on there and that way ya can water the tray and let plants drink or I just use a regular flat with hole sin it an dput a piece of trash bag to line it and use that for bottom watering.

Now that I talked your ear off, have another cup of coffee. That one probably cold by now.

Ella you are a bright and shining star, ty so much for pix and the info. I can see where the extra support would help a lot. I going to check this out because the pre built shelving is so expensive. I will add in the cost of the pipe cutter, maybe if won’t hate me as much as my saw and other tools do.
The first time I had grits I was in a hospital (what is it with me and hospitals, I really don’t like them) in Pensacola FL. I thought they were the nastiest thing I had ever tasted. The nurses would get so mad at me because I would not eat them, but I won’t eat oatmeal either.

Morning Bonnie, it’s a little cloudy here but Clemen coming will be all the sunshine I need. Oh how I wish we were all closer and could do this a few times a year. Wouldn’t that be great? Ella’s got the coffee but it will take you a couple of cups to catch up. We missed you last night.

Mmmm, I love grits.. cinnamon and sugar and butter on them for breakfast. Better than oatmeal too me! Those are some nifty shelves up there Ella.. (trying to get past the a.m. ritual of sneezing and nose blowing... hope once we get a frost my allergies calm down-the ONLY good thing about frost)... Pegster!!! Hi I slept in today, 7:15.. no frost which is good, cause my big girl brugs are still out there.. You have a great day... I got about 3 hours sleep night before last so I was a couch potato once I got home yesterday... (dang, just can't run like I used to... hmmm wonder why?) Wanted to say I get the acidophilus at Walgreens...

Here's some food for thought... the woman I work with has family reunions here... the cabins (each building) has sleeping quarters on either end (4 sleep comfortably on each end) with a shared kitchen... I talked w/Joyce, I thought it was in her neck of the woods, her husband said it is probably 80 or 100 miles from KCI Airport, but I think we could work with that and between me and Joyce and Cat and maybe Louise we could pick hotties up on our way... or even trek back for a hottie pick-up..... just another idea, let me know what you think..

It's another beautiful day here in Texas!! Gonna be in the mid 70's, blue skies, and the sun all day. I too have a lot of spiffing and shining I have to do. IF my bro and SIL come tomorrow, I at least want clean..lol... SHE is the type that she opens her mouth when she should keep it shut!
Ella... couldn't help but chuckle when you were talking about pushing the water off the GH. Been there.... done that.. but TG it was summertime when I did, and it wasn't a GH it was a tarp! Thats a neat idea on the shelves! I've never thought to angle cut the brug cuttings, and I've never received an angle cut one... sooooo I think we are safe for just wacking them!

H & H's Clemen just call and she made it to Providence in less than 3 hours, that means she drove at least 45 min. past my area. Great news for us, we can meet ½ ways sometimes with only a little over an hour drive each. Yippy

I lost y'all for a little while, so it took me forever to catch up! Y'all sure do talk a lot!

Audrey! Where's those bloom flush pics??? What have you been up to? Donna, how wonderful, you two have have mini hottie ru's more often! I bet you are bout to burst waiting to meet up with Clemen and Drea! I'm about to and I'm still doin inside yardwork ;) in Kansas! Honestly, I'm just so excited for you all!
That lake link is just an idea, maybe we could find a place closer but I thought the price was about right per/person if we stayed in a place like it.. kind a like summer camp! And the thought of a Hottie mobile with streamers and banners flyin' from the airport is hilarious! .. lol (but realistic!, what fun we will have)

Aw Donna, give her an extra big old hug from me!!! Bonnie, my husband used to be a long haul trucker and he said Kansas is only about an 8 hour drive for me and Beck, sure hope we can roadtrip together if we do this, WAHOOOOOOO!!!! In other words, it would be doable. We have driven many times to Tampa, FL and that is a 13 hour drive. Pajama party at the cabins sounds fun to me! Beck, it was me with the toothpickies in the eyelids, LOL! I crashed early!

P.S. Oh, and don't even worry about trying to view that cookbook I put up earlier, it's too difficult to read it. I am working on getting it to each and everyone of you that want it in a wonderful, easy to read edition. Even if you're on Dial-Up ☺

Ella, coffee was great, and I agree with Karen.. oh, Karen.. your cookbook is something I would buy.. just like those great head planters you make. (okay, taking a break from the yw.. :) I went ornament supply "window" shopping yesterday.. I have my idea, now it's just figuring out how to put it all together. I had 48 of something in my cart, but put it back cause it seemed like a lot to make, but I could do 48, just didn't want to spend the extra money if we're only going to make 24.. I need to get into my craft boxes downstairs (man, I have a lot of stuff to do) and see what I've got that I can utilize.. but I'm really excited about the exchange and the Hottie RU..
I also wanted to tell you BECKY, I'm not shy about wearing my "idling outfit" (pj's) around a man- nothing I wouldn't be seen in by my neighbors (if I had any) out in the brugs with my flashlight! lol what are you talking about 10:00 a.m.??? I say all day, maybe change and get cleaned up for suppertime or evening festivities! teehee, I mean it will be like we're on vacation/ Hottie Heaven! Welcome Home Audrey! We do all love you here, and have missed you! Are your medications working a little better now? I sure hope so. Your GGD is just beautiful. Look at those lil sparkly eyes!! We are here for the good times and bad, although having depression myself I know that sometimes you just don't feel like talking. I am praying it gets better with you.

AuntB, that place looks really nice and would be alot of fun for the H&HRU! Had my pj's on until 10 I was cl--ning and upstairs and getting my plumerias all happy. I hope!

Did I tell you guys I was dumpster diving and found two huge pieces of screen for really big sliding doors. Just look too useful so I stuck it in the car. I have used it twice now. One to put out a new plant and put screen over it to protect it from the wind and sun, and now I have streched it across my water garden to keep the leaves out. It has worked really well. I was afraid with all the rain we got it would hold water but it has worked out really nice. Easy to store also.

Rearranged the garden room getting ready to make my shelves tomorrow. Starlight those shelves made out of pvc pipe looked really nice and easy to move around. I just can't seem to keep anything in one spot very long.

I always thought werewolfs were lurking about, now I know I was right!
