It's a local one called Mountain Home... www.mountainhomemag.com
And they also have a Realestate Guide also...Thedeadline for that I think is next week...
Since she's had the baby she's been mostly working from home..
Yeah I got lots of hugs and kisses and snuggling time in..
Rocked her to sleep and held her while she slept for about an hour and a half..(Twice)
That's what grandma's are for...But I won't tell you's that I sang to her too...
She's about the only one who can stand my singing....LOL
Don't think she's quite over the cold I gave her...
She's About To.............#30
Today's my moms BD so it's just as well I spent it with my angel GD
My mom loved my DD so much.... as i'm sure she would have loved her GGD also..
Beck I gonna hav ta give you a geography lesson. RI is east of Connecticut and south of Massachusetts. There is nothing south of RI except the Atlantic Ocean, because this part of New England kinda sticks out. Tee hee. It is a ways east of PA Lol. Hope that helps till you find a map.
Karen I never seen that show, I have to ask my daughter about it. I don’t have cable here, but I’ll have direct TV soon.
Ester you can get a frost above 32, it does not have to be freezing, but 49 sound a bit high to me.
Phyllis glad you got to have the little darling today, grandkids are so much fun.
Any more I can't figure out what zone I am. They have taken this one little blip on the maps and made us 6 something. I figure I am safe it does zone 5 cause it is soooo windy and cold up on this hill.
Went to look at the racks but they were welded together and wouldn't come apart and wouldn't fit in my car. I might go back tomorrow, but actually what they have done is use spare racks (which I have, couldn't figure out what to do with them) and welded pipe on them. As awful as it might sound I think I will copy his racks. I did buy 6 mums for all the ladies in the office for 3.00 a piece. This picture is his racks and he must have 100 mums all sizes. Price was good!
Awh, Phyllis sounds like a wonderful day. My GD is 2 and we play in the dirt together....LOL much to her Fathers unhappiness...LOL
Pegi, wish I would of thought of printing all the good articles out....darn, organzied I am not, two things I think I would of like to of been born with is a good memory and good organizational qualities.
Kitti, Frost forms in much the same way as dew. Frost forms when a surface cools (through loss of infrared radiation) to a temperature which is colder than the dewpoint of the air next to the surface. Frost is frozen water that has condensed from some of the water vapor contained in the air. If a significant layer of air next to the ground were actually cooling to the dewpoint, then a visible shallow layer of fog would form. Instead, the air next to the surface (say grass) must be so thin that the only evidence that condensation has occurred is the frozen water on the grass. I copied this above, but I thought it had something to do with dewpoint.
Joyce the shelves look good, love the mums and the price was right. Great explanation on the frost. I knew it did not have to be 32 degrees but the rest was news to me. I’ll be able to check out Family Guy soon, right now I don’t have any reception I haven’t had TV here since I moved in.
Thanks - happgarden - I'm gonna bring her in - I don't wanna chance it - I get a lot of light in my house - hope she'll continue to bloom
Hello Hotties and Handsomes! I know I've been MIA all day but work definitely got in the way. For some unknown reason, they scheduled a computer downtime in the middle of the morning. Everybody had to be off and then everybody had to make up time, on a Friday! I do not understand this thinking. So finally through with work today.
I'm lost, yes once again. Bonnie, What is a Hotties Day Tuesday? I did not see that anywhere that I remember.
Phyllis, sounds like you had a good day with the little one. Donna sure good to see you on the mend, even if you think it is slow :)) Werewolfie, you're sending me something? Okay, I'll have the checkbook handy.. and that is a joke, it is always handy. LOL. Esther, I have not been worried about a light frost, it is the freezing that I've been worried about. Maybe I need to do some more learning. Linda Kay, I know your feet surgery is an ongoing process, but you timed it perfect. Next Spring, you will be all healed and ready to go when everybody wants to get busy outside again.
On the zones, since I first found out about them, I think they have changed me twice. Now they say I am 7a, but the actual temps here are 7b and before that I was something else. I just finally gave up and just read temps instead of zones. Plus I have a lot of little pockets in my yard that are soo protected or soo sunny, "micros", they are really something else. Real denial, here.
Beck, I had to fight DD last night over my ginger. She fell in love with it. Funny, she says she is not interested in gardening but gets part of almost everything I get. No brugs so far though. She really only does container gardening.
Well. besides work I have been working on that unmentionable and need to finish up some tonight. Making headway though. It's easier with everyone gone. Specks does not like it though, he keeps having to move. Poor ole dog.
Got to get busy. Got a big girls only luncheon tomorrow. We rarely get to do this, without DH and little ones, but it is on for tomorrow. It will be fun. Have a good evening everyone! Lov ya, Peg
Donna, here is the video to the Off to Rhode Island song, so you can see it. The whole cartoon is set in Quahog, RI and is a little racy. Brian (the dog) and Stewie get lost in the US and are hobo-ing on a train trying to get home. Since you are from RI, I just always think of this song when I see you post. I love Family Guy! Anyway, thought you might enjoy it. Love you

Hey everyone, I am back form the Doc, and doing the HAPPY DANCE. I have several of my plants that have little 1/2 to 2 inch little buds....
I am so happy. I hope with in 2 weeks or so I can put my nose right in them and go... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Now all I need to do is watch the weather so they don't get too cold!
My trip went well, and I will be having the surgery on my oter foot in 3 weeks. Just before Thanksgiving. Oh well, someone else will have to do the cooking.
Later
Linda Kay
Karen, TY that video was adorable, so cute. To bad there is no city or town named Quahog here, but you can dig all you want out of the bay and salt ponds at low tide.
Peg we missed you this morning, don’t just hate working late on a Friday, there should be some kind of law against it.
Hey LK, glad the Dr. visit went well and you have baby BUDS!!!!!!! Yippee! Get your sniffer ready, haha! You can come eat Thanksgiving with me, I cook BIG! Always feed about 30 people and do it all myself. Hope you have someone in the family that can do it for you, if not, eat out! Oh, I am getting hungry for dressing, it's my specialty!
glad you liked it Donna! Now you'll know why I always think of you! Took me 2 years to figure out that Quahog was a type of clam. Even their local bar on Family Guy is the Drunken Clam, LOL!
Congrats on the buds Linda Kay. Sooooooooooo happy for you.
Way To Go LK...Happy Dance....

g'nite -sweet bruggie dreams :o)
Karen... My TX relatives wouldn't dare use poultry seasoning, or sage, in their dressings..lol... but i learned about it after I married Lyle.. a TN man. I still don't put as much as him Momma, but it's quite tasty, even if I have to say so myself..lol... BTW.. I think you need to have pity on me since I am on dial up, and can't see your cookbook!!.. That means IF you have an extra.. I want it.. I'll even buy it!!
Debra.. don't work too hard in the morning! Sounds like you will have an allnighter with Pauline... here's hoping you both get good rest, and we'll see you come Sunday!!
Clemmie... Please give Donna a BIG ol TEXAS Hottie hug for me!! I think you'll know what I mean by adding Texas into it!!... hehe.. have fun, and try not to get too tired tomorrow, but I know you have a lomg day ahead of you and Andrea!!
OH anjl... I know ya'll are going to have a ball!!! Your Momma sounds like a lot of fun.. I lurked on your thread when you re landscaped her yard!!
lol Becky, and she is refusing to return the favor when she comes to visit me!!! :o( teehee!
g'nite hotties & handsomes.... my body is demanding that I sleep :(
Yawning here, but time to rise and shine everybody. It a saturday!! Time to get the nasty " chores" out of the way. Figure I'll have me a couple of cups of coffee, wake ya all up and when I sure your wide awake, I'll go back to bed for a couple of hours. ; )
After getting a semi cold shower yesterday morning and with all the cold and wind, I just couldn't get warm for nothing. Spent most of the day hidden under the covers shivering. Gotta figure out how to get another board up across the top of the gh for bracing , this doing the whoop..whoop.. can ya put your hands in the air , pushing water gallons off water off is getting old, or maybe it just cuz I getting old.
Supposed to be 70 here today, hope it gets there soon, got lots of yard work to do. need to try and pit some metal stakes in the ground and gonna see if I can bow some pvc pipe to make small plastic row covers over some other crops.
Need to see if I cna do it this year without smacking myself in the rump and face with the pipe. Darn stuff seems to bend easily enough in the store but when ya get it home and try it don't like to work. I just hope the snakes realize it winter now and have all goen to sleep when I get out there. I know winter coming fast cuz the lizard are all crawling between the screens and windows and hanging out on the glass all day sunbathing.
Yummmmmmm, dressing. Forgeet the turkey, Give me a good sage dressing and I can be a little pig on that stuff alone. Don't seem like it almost turkey time already, but it sure coming fast.
Great article for a newbie like me. Worried now cuz I didn't know and cut mine straight across and wondering if I should pull my sticks back out of the water and try and cut them at an angle now.
Hope everybody has a good day filled with chuckles and smiles. : )
have a good day hotties, i'm just lurking and watchin u all(grins)
