My Puppy Love's buds are ALL sticking straight up! I didn't think they (brugs)were supposed to do that! None of the others do! And they're shaped different, too! Do you suppose the grower sent the wrong thing? I don't think it's a datura, I have some of those, and the pods don't look like them, either! It's got me worried! Oh well, I'll love her any way she looks!!!

I just took some cuttings and stuck them in the bubbler. Let me give them a few days to see if they start to root. The vines have been cut from the root for several days. The seed pods are looking like they are going to mature. I picked a ripe one a couple of weeks ago, it opened and I misplaced it. LOL I blame DH but he is so afraid to touch my plants I really know he didn't move it. If it ever shows up there are plenty in that one pod to share.

Hi Clemen, When I saw you were on here I decided to post. Yes, I have some great friends on Mid South.

Star, he had his knees reconstructed.... and wont leave his wounds alone... so gotta wear that mean ole collar :( just a few more days and I get to take it off him AND give him a much needed bath! lol! He's usually groomed every six weeks, and bathed every two....its been about 4 weeks since his bath and yucky! lol! I'm looking forward to his bath! lol!

This is Flamenco.... first full flush for me :o)

these start out really green looking at first... like a white green. Then as the days pass, they turn a deeper darker pink. and the scent!! OMG I could sit out there and sniff all night! teehee!

to the right in this picture is the last bloom on Magic Carpet...She's the one that was in full bloom when I came home from the hospital! very nice welcome home! teehee

Yes Star, I did post on the Artisans forum. Summer is garden time and I usually don't take much time for art. Getting time now, all the plants are tucked away for winter. Gerrrrr. Not a winter person here. LOL

Poor Sheldon, He doesn't look happy. When Picabo had her "Surgery" she had to wear one of those collars. I didn't think we would ever get to take it off of her and become friends again. :~))

Ahhhhhhhhh, I don't mind smelly dogs, so give him a hug for me. Til I find me another dog or one finds me, I gotta just hug and pet everybody elses's hope ya don't mind .

Was gonna post this early this morning but my ISP was acting up..
Hopefully since all the little monsters are in school it'll do it now....LOL
Jez....Leave for a couple days and it takes forever to catch up....LOL
DH had a rare Saturday off..So we went out...A warm front came in and It rained here all day Saturday and then again last night and now their talking snow flurries...Crazy weather...
And Sunday I went and saw my MIL as her BD's today and I came home with cuttings of some of her her catus'
They look like the Christmas Cactus but she says their different..One's starting to bloom.. a yellow one her mom had gotten..sooo pretty...and the pink ones are full of buds..Just checked on the cuttings and since yesterday one of the pink cuttings has gotten a tiny bud on it...LOL..She said they had them outside and as soon as they brought them inside they started budding...I didn't get a cutting of the white one yet......Then we cut wood and my body ached... so I read for over 2 hours to catch up...(And now there's a whole other thread to read this morning....)

Glad you found us on 31, I read your post on 30 and it sound like you had a busy weekend. Good luck with the cuttings, they do sound like Christmas cactus to me but I don’t know one from the other.

Phyllis, I brought the "real Picabo" home during the Olympics. I already had two Maltese that weren't much larger than the new puppy (each of the three weighed under 3 lbs). DH was so involved watching Picabo Street ski that he didn't even notice the new puppy playing on the floor under his feet for about 10 minutes, Then he looked down and ask why one of the dogs had spots. LOL That is how the real "Picabo got her name. LOL This is "Kisses" the Maltese and "Picabo" the Japanese Chin (and my name sake) the picture was made just after "Picabo" came to take over my life.

There should be Pipevine cuttings for anyone who wants them.

Don't give up on the allamanda, just let her in water and change it once in a while!

I set up a bubbler thingy and I put some of the stubborn brug cuttings and the
Allamanda and Mandevilla in there too!!
Made them special small holes...It looked like one of the Allamanda's was getting nubbies...??
Not sure...LOL
I check on them all the time i'm gonna love them to death...LOL

Be patient, she will get roots eventually, if the tip on top gets dried up, cut it and that is all!
