We are getting rain also, not to bad now but earlier it was pouring, the forecast is until sunday we get rain, then Ike is suppose to move in Monday. My chickens better learn how to swim.

Cindy... there's plenty time... she has 2 feet to undergo surgery on... with weeks of recovery in between... we have a couple or three months to help pamper her during her recovery.

And, that rain is about to happen here too Tia... it's a huge mass of thunderstorms heading this way.

Well hello TINA, I really enjoyed Tia but I am sure you will be just as much fun for sure. Way to funny--guess we should be careful what we abbreviate.

No rain here, a few gust of wind but nothing out of the normal. My Mom in Arcadia they were have a really heavy downpour about 8:30 this morning and winds. Also said Punta Gorda was flooded already. I guess I need to check the weather but it just upsets me and I worry about tomorrow. Oh well, guess I will just do it!!

Jaye, when will the gumbo be ready? Not so spicy on mine please. I can just see Kel with his belly dancing and his toes too. What a visual. Thank him for me!!

lol you girls are a barrel of laughs. On a serious note how do you make dumplins that are NOT rolled out that will not fall apart in Chick-N- dumplins. I get mine in there and they are great then they go away. And then the pot is to thick.

I used to do it the old fashion way..got lazy..used cubes of frozen biscuit, then got more lazier.. use real wide egg noodles. Serious.
They all eventually fall apart when soaked too long.
For the old fashioned ones, I like to put finely chopped green onion tops in the dough, and knead them well.

I don't know the answer but when is dinner ready?

my hubby would like less chicken and more dumplins but I just cant get it that way, He never wants to eat when it is prime for the pickins and he does not understand. All I do is add more.

Dinner will be around hmmmmmmm he was mad at me last night, I stayed at moms, so maybe he will be home early tonight or late who the heck knows. Oh I say around 7ish the grandson needs to get to bed early tonight he has been up late the past few days and wake up cranky.

I am making lemon cake tonight also forgot to add that. CANT wait. Making list now.

Alas I guess I will just settle for stuffed peppers tonight. Next time?

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I want stuffed peppers, no one here will eat them, not even hubby, he is a moron. But gotta love him!!!!!
