lucky you mine is okay with plants I bring home but when it comes to animals he fusses alot more. if I had my way I would have a cat along with the dogs BUT...they shed and he complains about the hair on stuff ..thought about a hairless one but not for the price they ask for them LOL...
♥Sweet Interruption♥ 22
LMAO I have seem them hairless ones wow only a mug a mother could love there. Mine dont like cats either but again he had no choice, we live in the country and we have mice, so we have a kitty. Now we have 2 her son Bandit. In my lap as I type, he is such a baby.
Tia, does your cat bother your chickens?
Not the moma cat, but Bandit does, he like to chase them, I will get onto him and he stops. The chickens stay clear of him now.
I was thinking one outside would be good as we have seen a couple of lil mice outside none in the house though but then have to make sure that harley understands it is part of the family not a stray to chase LOL
lol yea, my dogs were raided around moma kitty so they are kewl with the baby, he is about 10 weeks old. I think.
Debra, your daughter has a lot on her plate doesn't she? Lucky for her, she got you for her mother. If there's anything we can help you with, just let us know.
Harley is a good choice, Phyllis!! He'll live longer and has a tail that wags!! Those hairless cats are quite scary looking!
Tia, so what farm animals will you NOT have?? You must have plenty of backyard space.
Janice, we just type faster!!! It's not easy to keep up, but most of the time, on some other threads, I just jump right in without reading previous posts. Stay often around, and you get to know us folks prettttyyy goood. I had taken Debra's advice and posted some info on my 'member page', so that's one way of getting to know me. Just click on my DG handle, and you'll see note as to what I am, at the bottom.
WOW, Jaye... I didn't know all that about you... thanks...
Someday, maybe I'll go do that too... but I'm still trying to figure how WHO I am...
Lets see I will not have any more goats, well me and mom are talking about just a few this time and NO breeders. Just ones to forage. We want to get a feeder calf this spring and butcher it in the winter. No need for a donkey, so probably that. I have turkeys I would like to get some more of them. They wont breed until spring so will have to wait for that. We have 2 wanna be horses.
Hey Tia, explain please, lol, are wanna be horses mules, nags, or two old grey mares that ain't like they used to be?
pony's not Shetlands but not great big horses.
They will grow tall into full fledged horses though, right? Are they just baby horses?
Tia... I have a "real" horse for sale if those grand kids want to start riding barrels..
See, I learned sumptin new again this morning! I thought ponies were juvenile horses. Well, I be. Thanks Tia! Now who is the cutie pie?
that is Cherry and she is about 17 and so loving. She loves Dylan.
Me too Deborah. Gather more info here than I would at the race track!
I'm not kidding, Tia.. I have a horse for sale.
His name is Vegas Bugs... and we bought him for my g'daughter to ride barrels last year... she's since refocused her interest toward boys, and Vegas is now spending way too much time in the cow pasture... he needs a home before he gets a complex, like Kathy's rooster.
lol, is your horse tame. Boy? Girl? Cherry is not fixed but Lightning is and I wouldnt want any new pony's.
ok next question you know what it is $$$$$
Dylan is the cutie pie I was talking about. LOL Cherry is cute too.
I know horses are smart and they can sense fear in humans. The last horse I rode intentionally ran between two close trees trying to brushed me off. I could not get that horse to slow down or stop. I hollared woe mule one thousand times. Finally he successed to get me off his back and down I jumped.
Vegas is 8 years old, gentle, and barrel trained... male, fixed, and just needs to be riden out to get him back in shape. He comes from championship bloodline... not that it makes much difference if he's not worked like he should be... but he does have a lot of potential... too good of a horse to leave out to pasture.
lol, I am so sorry I am laughing at that. I had the same experience when I was 15 OMG.
Dylan is such a ham, he sees me bring out the camera and he has to pose. Cherry is too.
I would for sure ride a gentle horse. I hate jumping in the truck to go up to moms. Would rather jump on a horse.
Well, I just got msomepackages delivered to the door, and after Iopened them, I then had to get out the tissues. You Sisters are so thoughtfull, and I don't know what I would do with out each and everyone of ya!!!!

Linda Kay
Well, he's gentle enough that we put a 13 year old girl on him, who had never been on the back of a horse before... and except for getting used to her "greenness", he was very well behaved.
PS... we had to send her and Vegas to a trainer for a few lessons before she got the hang of how to "drive" him.
I am in tears also, how sweet.
And last but not least is dear Sister robynest (Robin)
Thank you so much, My feet will stay clean and warm, and I will think of you as I wear them during my healing... And Dove chocolate is one of my favorites...
I love the card with the polar bear, kicking back with his hot water bottle.
Ladies, I can't thank you enough for your gifts. I know they came from the heart, and I will cherish them forever, or until the candy is gone!!! LOL
Thank you dearly
Linda Kay
