WOW. I hope I didn't say anything I shouldn't have said.
I did have a D-Mail from Dave at the same time I had one from you. I don't know how that would have contributed to the cross-up though.

Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - SB - cont'd
I was thinking the same thing. Dmail snafus can be potentially embarrassing. But this was my reply to you, Gloria, that Dave ended up getting. Not anything from you.
Well, guys, maybe it is only in the northeast. I talked with Zuzu and gloria, so south and west is accounted for.......Hmmmmmmmm.
There are many times when I would not want my e mails to go awry, but I try to be extra careful with d mail.
Any of you ever used the "foam" crown molding? I am thinking about it but can't find any real live experienced folks who can tell me about it.
i've seen it used on sets, but not used as a permanent installation...
I've heard of it but not seen it. They make foam 'beams' as well. I am considering using them.
This would be only for interior design. I have vaulted ceilings and wanted something I could do a little bit of creative design with. I might try it in one room...if it works I can always use more.
something new anyway.
My 36 year old rhodendron is dying, so I have to do something to cheer myself up. Actually, rhodie is 37. We was planted here in 71. What crown molding has to do with a dying rhodedendron I have no clue, but it all made sense to me.
Well I lost two old rhodies in the past two years and it gave me the chance to do an entire bed over. Have four JM's in there now and a bunch of other nice stuff. Every problem is an opportunity!
Yep, I am looking at it in that way as well. So we will soon see.
Man. will you look at my first spelling of the word, it is a good thing I retired when I did.
Next time I mention it I will call it that dark leafed evergreen that sat in the corner of my brick arches. It had a lovely cluster of lavender blue flowers....duh, duh, duh.
Victor, is your son still enjoying his art class? Any more pictures?
Yes, Sharon. he just finished on Saturday. Came out great. No photos yet - it gets displayed in the library first! He's taking another one next week.
Sharran - I started a thread on styrofoam crown molding a week or so ago. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/803815/ I ended up with a narrow, wood crown molding instead because my contractor did it.
Great link, Cat....that is exactly what I wanted to know. A project for sure when this sudden ice storm that just coated my car, steet, driveway, roof goes on its way.
And to think, we had sunshine this morning. Guess it was my turn for yucky weather. I am sending it on a northeasterly track.
Yes, that is very nice. That painted armoir is gorgeous. You can keep the weather there, Sharon - thanks!
Not NE!! Please, no more crappy weather!
Just bought my ticket to Florida, DD is so happy she almost cried!!
Can you sneak me on, Celeste?!!
Sunshine in Alabama. It might rain tomorrow.

Saw that on the news too, just what I need to get me to buy that Fl. ticket.
Victor, not sure how that would work.....how small can you fold yourself?
I not leaving until the 24th of April..trying to get away from mud season at least! My kitchen floor should look lovely after a few day of me gone. LOL
Yeah, no metal...we'll get caught!
Does rust count?
Louise, my bedroom is a mess. I've been avoiding it. Fixed up DS's room. I'll take a pic of that one.
Well. There is an inch or so of ice on my car, including over the door handles. Those streaks of blue that you see blowing over your heads are the words that are coming outta my mouth.
I thought I would be smart and wait till the rush was over at the grocery, because I only needed fruit and cat food. So I waited, a little too long. I don't have any whatever the stuff is to melt ice on your car.
Rats. First really bad weather and it isn't even snow.
We're supposed get a wintry mix tomorrow evening.
Yeah, the way they're saying it, it sounds like the schools will have a delayed opening. I have yet to get my car prepared for the winter... oops!
I would prefer to go to FL this minute! By Apr 24th the weather is pretty nice here.
April is Mud Month here, we even still have snow so I won't mmiss it for a week. May is my busy month, the yard can usually be worked on by that time and most of the mud is dry.
The mud period will probably be longer for you this year.
Thanks Victor, I needed to hear that!
A message full of hope and anticipation for Spring!
I spent the morning cleaning out the kitchen under-the-counter cabinets. ("Oh, Joy" she sings.) It's amazing how much clutter grows under there - almost like mold! Glad it's over with.
You use 'Joy'? I prefer Ivory.
Actually, I found a bottle of Dawn under the sink that I didn't know was there!
New thread - please walk this way........

Celeste - when are you coming to Fla. and what town will you be in? East Coast or West Coast?? I'm so happy you will be able to get away from that horrid winter you're having!!!
Louise, flying to Tampa on April 24, flying back on the 28th. This is a short trip, DD has been sick, which makes her homesick more. She always was the kid that needed to come home from college when she was sick so Mom could take care of her!
Hey Everybody! Its the year of the Beagle!. A beagle won the Westminster Dog Show best of show yesterday! The little scrappy pup won over two shaved and puffed-up poodles both with lots of titles.
Hooray for real dogs!
Yippee!! I think beagles are cute and very smart.
I saw pictures of this one. He really is a cutie.
However, I must speak on the behalf of poodles. I'm a poodle owner, but I treat him like the real dog that he is. I don't give him the silly haircut and we run and play fetch all day! He digs in the dirt... well, actually, I don't like that one. He's a sweetie.
I always had a dog growing up - most memorable was a standard collie named Dickie who lived maybe 20 years or more.
As an adult I couldn't have a dog in school. Then one day I realized I needed a dog. I went to a huge dog show at the fair grounds in Santa Barbara. I remember 101 chows sitting on their grooming benches being brushed up. At shows they back comb the dogs so that their hair stands striaght up and fluffy!
In the obedience trials I saw the poodles ---- so smart. The did exactly what they were told to do, like little robots.
Then came the trial for a little peke pup. He came out and looked around at the huge crowd and ran back into the grooming area to his kennel. Not me he said.
So that's how I decided to get a peke and I had them- AKC pekes for 20 years or more until I had enough space for a big dog.
Today if I need a dog I go to the rescue shelter. Who ever needs a home there has a place with me.
