Lucky you !
Sun's peeking out here too.
Sunshine in Alabama also. Its cold though.
Cold and clear. A Hemingway Day.
He lived in Key West!
And I visited his KW home.....and his cats.
It's in the upper 40's here...should get to about 60.
How's the new laptop, Victor?
So far so good, Sharon. Getting used to the larger size too - it's 17 inches. I saw the Hemingway cats too - love the six 'fingers'!
hahaha - that being the only "new" post, it took me a minute to remember Victor's new computer, and i thought he was getting used to a larger sized 17" cat... (i was wondering which dimension - height?)
Speaking of....I have a 24" cat who is 13 inches of tail. During the storm he climbed up under my shirt, but left the tail out, whenever we had a booming thunder episode the tail got bigger...every time. Think: hair standing on end. But he doesn't have six toes so not a Hemingway. However he is a rescue....and only 9 months old. Named "him" Jazz for the Second Hand Lion (Michael Cain, Robert Duval).
I thought we needed to get away from Amy's worms for awhile.
My cat had worms once.
VICTOR!!!!!!
As Bugs Bunny would say, 'Ain't I a stinker?!'
Yeah - what Sharran said.
Love "Second Hand Lions"!! I bet i've seen that movie 5 x already.
Yep, me too, Pixie.
Handsome boy! Is he a member of the Nah-Nah Brotherhood of Manly Cats at DG?
Two nice cats! Sharon, where did he get that tail?!!
She won't "tail", it's a secret!
Maybe her mom and Pepe LePew?
Hi AYC...not yet....he has been checking it out, though....thinking about it.
Green eyes is great too...
And yes, I have met the great Wallingford.
Cute, Victor. Jazz has quite a story. He was a stray in a ballpark back in the summer. Ballpark was about 10 miles on the interstate from my home. Jazz hitched a ride underneath an SUV, hanging on for dear life to my neighbor's house. I already had a tuxedo, Daisy, who was traumatized from my husband's recent death....so neighbor brought Jazz down to meet Daisy, thinking it would help her. At the time Jazz weighed 1 pound and was about 5 weeks old. So....a trip to the vet, and now these months later, Jazz and Daisy are fast friends, though Jazz has outgrown Daisy and continues to grow. Jazz still tries to drape himself and his tail across my lap as I type......he can't understand why half of him touches the floor. Jazz has not been outside since, won't venture out the door....runs from loud motors like the vac. But happy now, and healthy and safe.
And then there's Daisy....but that is another story.
Sorry to monopolize the thread. I do get carried away with cats and flowers.
Nice story and great pic!
Daisy looks like my Holly - but Daisy has hair and Holly is "challenged" right now. I could talk about cats all day -hey! I DO talk about cats all day!
Me too, Yankee....a fun topic.
I sometimes prefer cats to people.
Why?
(I was just trying to impress you.)
Why impress us Victor?
It takes more than that for AYC and me. We aren't easily impressed.
I write copy for a cat - am easily impressed.
Just kidding. Because cats give love and affection unconditionally, they clean themselves, keep out bugs and rodents and help keep you warm in Winter!
Who needs a faux fur throw when you can just have a cat???
Good reason faux me!
Unless the cat chooses to sleep on the faux fur....
Oh that's what my cat does. She comes in during the day when the dogs are out. Goes upstairs and sleeps on my white fur throw which is on a chippendale sofa in the upstairs hall
The cat has to go out when the dogs come in. Other wise there will be flying fur and tramatized cat.
