Oh yes - the articles!
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 10
Yes, Al!
I'm staying with the Black Lab look in that photo. You can think it looks like CZJ if you want to, Victor.
why black, maybe a choc lab or golden?
Chocolate sheep?
sure, wrapped in gold foil.
Eleanor - as Pixie said, that was QUITE the little adventure you had in those frigid temps!! I can't imagine that walk back to your house. Thankfully, you are safe at home!
OMG..... all those cold, cold temps you guys are having! This probably won't go over well in light of your current deep freeze blahs...... Fort Myers was the warmest spot in the country today. Please don't throw snow balls at me!!! I really do feel your pain!! :(
Easter decorations are on display at Pottery Barn. Another big chain store has BBQ's, outdoor furniture, charcoal, etc.
Wow. Pirl, have you had any measurable snow yet??
I didn't even put up my Groundhog's Day decorations yet.
None. I'll never get to build a snowman with my grandson!
Maybe it was a groundhog in the snow. Mine never come down - same every day.
Thanks Louise! Glad you are warm and enjoying the sunshine and I wouldn't throw snowballs!! The snowplow just made three trips by the house and we only had a couple of inches today. It just went by again - gee it is noisy!! Sounds like it is scraping up the whole road. At one time today it looked like a blizzard outside with the wind blowing the falling snow. The morning was bright and sunny and then around noon it started snowing. Want some of the snow Pirl? No snowshoeing today - still waiting for my boots to dry and I had a migraine so I laid in my recliner most of the day with Colin climbing all over me. Eleanor
No need to mail me any snow, Eleanor, but thanks for the offer. Sooner or later I hope we'll get a blizzard or two. I do love taking photos of the garden when it's covered in snow and the same scene when it's all in bloom.
I'm rooting for you too Pirl.
Are you offering to come plow me out?
I thought he was rooting plants for you.
Come on up here, Pirl. You and your grandson can play to your hearts content. My granddaughter loves smaller children, and she's an outdoor girl. We could have snowangels, slide down banks, build forts, and snowmen, all the fun stuff. Sugared grapes to eat out in the snowfort. All sorts of food coloring to make really pretty rainbows in the snow. Homemade hot chocolate made with ghirardelli chocolate. Come on up!
Sounds like fun!
Plow you in would be easier.
Polly - you are in the lake effect belt there right?
Where's Jan's snow update?
Polly - can you wait for the end of July? I'd love everything you mentioned when it's hot out.
Well, Pirl, you might be in luck. The snow might still be here then. But you're welcome anythime, snow or no.
Last year it was, honest to gosh, August before the last pile of snow in Oswego went away.
Hey a new 'I spy' pic.
Sounds easy enough Polly. I had to badger someone in the U.P. of MI for a snow pic since they were bragging so much about how much they have.LOL
That's a lot of snow Polly!! So glad we don't have that much - we wouldn't have any place to plow it. Eleanor
Yes, that's some hill!
We could build a snowman that even Al could see from Menasha!
Good morning!
Current temp is 18
It might get up to 28 today - a blessing for sure!!
It will be partly sunny, and I'll be sitting in my patch of sunlight for sure today!!!
Dew Point: 6 degrees
Humidity: 50%
Winds are calm and the barometer is steady.
There's a beautiful pink on the clouds as the sun is rising.
But it's still freaking cold!!!!!
20 degrees F, feels like 13. Will get to 29 today. I saw the pink clouds you sent southwest!
cool, booj
I'll send more
Yes - you erased him!
No I didn't - that's a different shot
I thought I was depressed until I read everyone's weather updates(except the FL ones). This is the 1st yr. in the last 5 we have not gone to FL , & I'm missing it. However, there are some grassy patches in our yard, & the stone walls are visible, so it's not too bad. We live by a federal flood control dam, & I try to walk daily, but the wind was whipping so yest., I had to hold onto guidewire twice. I just dream of the Villages in FL. Bought a card reader, & when son & DIL come this weeekend, will post some pics!
I'm missing going to the panhandle in Feb where I went 2 years in a row a long time ago. Learning acceptance here.
Gosh, Robin and Booj - I wish you were down here too......I feel so darn guilty here....I should probably just lurk and keep my big mouth shut about the warm temps. Before I slink away though, check out how strange this sky looks....dark rain cloud, big white puffy part and bright blue "hole" all together.......It can't make up its mind what to do here.
Oh, a warm FL pic---I need to be there! My cousins are in Miami right now--they left a message on the phone that it was raining, so "be glad I didn't go down with them"----didn't make feel a bit better. Walking over the dam yest. was better than day before--the sun felt very warm--of course the 38 degrees gave me windburn, not sunburn!
not much better here Eleanor... big 18.... we had just a small flurry last night no coverage
Allison
That's minus 13!! Eleanor
10 degrees this AM.
