Thank you MIke!
3rd Annual SO CAL RU MAY 19, 07
I wasn't going to pick on Donna for her flub, since I have been calling Dawn "Helen." But then, I hadn't seen "Dawn" anywhere, so how was I to know?
It is pretty funny when you start reading name tags at the RU.
well i have been called at calling all the she`s , he`s.
Oh man weegy, I am red in the face (along with my hair). lol My lousy fingers must have been on the wrong keys again.
I just tried to type this message with a 4 mo. old Shitzu puppy on my lap and he kept licking my face. You should have seen the typing errors during that wash job. My DD left today to go up north for several days and she has 3 Shitzus that need babysitting. I also have a Shitzu, so that makes 4 small dogs in this house until next Tues. night. This should be interesting!!!!!!!
Watch closely now.....Donna
funny girls. Off i go to bed, we are going to the Nascar race in vegas, we leave tomorrow and my allergy eyes are bothering me this time of the year so i can`t see what i am typing either. Helen aka Dawn
Oh nice puppies like you alot. Same way my dog Rusty and he sit by me and put his left paw on my lap and other his paw up and waving at me and want me to pet him alot, too! Rusty is smart and active now! He's ready for road trip! Oh boy it will be fun, mom! Oh Yes it will be big fun.
Anna
Don, is this about the same time as last year??? If so, can I bring some milkweed with me to see if I can get those Queen butterflies to lay eggs on it?
Froggy any tadpoles this year?
Mark
Sorry Mark,
We did this thing in July last year but the milkweed you left last year seeded like a dream and I've got about a bazillion sprouts now out in front on the roadside garden. We may catch a few butterflies checking them out or the doggone Buddleias which promise to be ginormous this year.
best to you amigo,
don
Has anyone heard from George and his wife. How about Ginny? George has been mighty quiet these days.
Let's just hope that Miss Congeniality wears his sash......lol. It seems odd that we haven't heard from him yet.
hugs to you weegy12,
don
Awwwww, what a sweet hug, Don! Hugs back! Looking so forward to this RU being the week before dd's wedding.
Yeah, it's strange not to hear from George. I hope all is well with him. He's such a great guy.
OK, Jo (Roadrunner) sent me a D-Mail. Sue and I will be there. I will contact Ginny and see if she wants to come along.
My Plant tables on the porches are pretty sad. An awful lot is thoroughly dead and some has a bit of life near the ground.
Woohooo!
Miss Congeniality!!!!!
Who cares if you've got anything to trade amigo......We just want you here at the ranch with silly hopes that you might wear your sash....lol.
Great to see you George and I've got a few new Epis you might be interested in.
*Hearty handshake, and a hug to your wife.....and Ginny*,
don
Mark, the "portable ponds" are out and frogs have been seen habitating them. Are they girls? I will keep you posted. I put them out just for you so I have my fingers crossed. Last year none laid eggs in my offerings. Your name is on all of them. How did your vines survive the frost? Mine were all toast but are starting to sprout.
I have been out spreading manure and doing the "Grow" dance around the frozen plants. Wouldn't you think that tender tropical like clivias would have taken a bigger hit? The fool things are in their glory. (But notice the poor impatiens to the left.) I have lots of clivia if anyone wants any.
Donna, Ahhhh 4 shih tzus How will your lap survive? LOL!
Yeah! George and Sue are coming. Ginny too.
have a great day everyone Janice
Well, there's George! Looking forward to seeing you in May. I've missed hearing from you.
I am not on dial up but any of you that are, are you having troubles yet keeping up Yet?
I'm always having trouble keeping up, yet I'm not sure it has anything to do with a dial up connection. I theorize that this doggone orb we call home just spins too bloody fast and I'm dizzy from the ride.
she snickers. Thats Deep Man.
wow, I have never seen one near like it.
It very bigger I ever seen but I drove by 5 times last year and it from Joplin, MO to pass Miami, OK about 45 min. drive.
I stop in Elk City, OK for rest at motel! Long Drive!

All my thread watchers are bare so I guess we have all been out with our plants. lol
Hellnzn11 where is Rosamond??? What is it near?
Mark
10 minutes north of Lancaster and 10 minutes south of mojave on the 14 fwy.
Well, that was close -- last week I realized that the RU was the same day as I am committed to set a table ("sponsor" the table) at a benefit tea for the "getting back on your feet" house the Sisters of Saint Joseph have on the campus of St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.
I called the Sister in charge and explained... when I got to "And I have *everything* for the table; I could bring it over in a couple boxes Friday, if you could find someone to set it up..." there was a big WHOOSH sound as she sighed in relief! She had thought I was renig'ing on providing the table setting at all. She has "jr. volunteers" from the hospital happy to set it up and break it down (I will provide a layout drawing, methinks).
All is well for Blooms and I -- no flat tire this year! And Jo has my cell# just in case.
Have made our entries in trade and food threads.

I have been a gardening fool, I can not stand stright and sat in the shower and crawled out. anyone else?
Not me today. DH's day off, we had a busy one. Soak in the bath Dawn!
I would never get out and i was too filthy to take a bath. I love baths, i was so disappointed that i couldn`t.
Well you could always have your spouse just hose you down. Mine does.....lol. Especially lately as we are busy doing all kinds of stuff. Hmmm, when aren't we busy doing all kinds of stuff?....lol. Got a chance to use the sand spikes tonight frogrus.....yummy Bombay Sapphire and tonic with a lime and a lovely brown sunset...lol. Isn't southern California just paradox...er....paradise?
I'd like Fiona to do Jethro Tull's Cross Eyed Mary.....now that's a tune for a flautist....lol.
hugs,
don
He`d like to hose me down.
Hmmmmm, Jethro Tull, what era are you from Don?!?!! "Flying so high, trying to remember, how many cigarettes did I bring along!"
Poor kid, doesn`t know what she`s in store for. lol
Rusty, I love the beanie frog on your dash....
Don you do come up with some obscure references
Don in to anything "obscure" ? Surely you jest !
