Worst thing about DG?

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Well, I never said that I keep all my projects confined to this room...LOL They are spread out all over the house also, but this is the main storage room.

This drives my son and DH crazy. This room is packed full of ongoing projects, plus the dining room table has projects on it, as well as paper plates with seeds drying, and the bedroom that daughter #2 recently vacated now has the sewing machine because this craft/computer room is full!

I can see the logic, why can't they?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Worst thing is here I am exhausted but still can't get off here to go to bed!!!! Missed you all so much from being gone less than a day!

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

OK, I'm getting off here...........I really am. I'm serious..................OH WAIT, just one more thing, then I PROMISE, I'll get off.

Castro Valley, CA(Zone 9a)

DG anonymous:
You start, Hi my name is Annie, and I'm an DG addict, LOL

Hixson, TN(Zone 7a)

langbr
Beyond Riches is gorgeous!!!!
Well, my sons late night cookie cravens have been altered because I keep burning them!
I have been guilty of the same with dinner because I get typing and reading DG and forget what else I am doing until that smell comes around the corner and oops I did it again burned up the dinner!Lalala!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

I just found this thread and agree with all of you. But no way am I showing anyone a picture of my computer area!!!There is a walkway, but so much paper you wouldn't believe. Since I am a widow I am lucky, no one to harp at me, no meals to worry about, etc. Today I don't feel guilty for sitting here in front of my monitor as it is raining outside. This is only the second rain we had in a month. It is very welcome even tho I am pretty sure that now we will be those dreaded frosts. Donna

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Ruth, I'm with you... no picture of my computer spot until a rainy day! Actually, we've had several rainy days and I still haven't cleaned this area! On the sunny days, I'm outdoors. I have piles of papers that need to be sorted and filed, not to mention boxes that make it necessary to weave my way through to the computer. I have two huge reference books that I bang my elbow on everytime I use the mouse... it's not pretty.

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

hee ... ahh, rutholive .. please, don't hold out on us now ...

There's jes no way that anything that you may have .. 'laying, thrown, strewn,
stacked, or piled' .. to the heavens .. can be any worse for wear, or 'gazing upon'
than .. (or, by) .. any of the rest of us DG 'junkies' .. Hee Hee ..

C'mon .. you kin do it !!

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

ahhhh, now ... tsk, tsk, tsk ...

( .. heeheehee .. )

Wilton, CA(Zone 9b)

My computer in my stained glass "studio", so here I sit, laughing and reading forums, as the lamp pattern sitting over there hasn't had the first piece cut. My DH came in here last night looked over the pattern said he liked it, so glad he didn't ask when I plan on starting it; I do have the glass picked out, so I'm started..right?
Today is our first cloudy semirainly day this year; I love hibernation time.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Hoo Ooo - Hoorah! I've just met my first live DGer. Shirley1md is here with her delightful husband. They've come to see the Nat'l Parks around Utah and we had a great time chatting over supper. She brought me plants!! by plane and rental car and she brought me plants!! I'm flabbergasted. and feeling a little bad I didn't dig her one. I thought with the plane thing it wouldn't be possible.

Here's a pic of us giggling at something... or nothing. I love DG.
Edit to add that's Shirley on the left.

I've had to restrict all my DG time to my home computer. If I "pop in for a peek" at work, I get lost for a few hours and don't make any money. No money= No new flowers!

And now I find myself setting up quick trips to see DG friends in other towns/states. My kids think I'm crazy, my Dh just shakes his head. Anyway, where does he have space to critizize my hobby? He goes to trapshoots in other cities & states every weekend all summer & hunting trips all fall!

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Blooms, you two look like you had a really good visit! Wanda, we all know traps can't compare with flowers, don't we!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Oh, Weez, how could you bring yourself to put those two words in the same sentence??

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Moby, you've got mail.
Wanda me too, will plan my next trip to my Sis's in NY from DGer to DGer.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Wanda, my husband is not into gardening at all. He doen't understand my love of growing things and I do not understand how he can sit in a boat or a tree stand in pouring down rain either. :)

He tells me now for gifts, to just order what I would like to have.
My daughters think that is so unromantic..I love him for it anyway.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

well this is my haven, all things good in one room, DG,coffee,TV Microwave

and behind me my minie Greenhouse, and my plants

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Kareoke, I get the dreaded red x on the first pic but the second has me drooling / which is not good as I'm eating a baked potato while I browse the forums.

And That side of the room is full of sure signs of a gardener. Esp like your elephant plant stand and have to ask what is the little carved/pottery critter about to attack your mini greenhouse?
A kitty? nope no tail, a bear then? nope pointy ears, owl?/...
Any way, that's a perfect size greenhouse - DYI or store bought?

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

That's really strange. That first pic showed up earlier, but it's not there now.

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

That is just too weird. I looked this morning and both pictures were there. Now the 'dreaded red x', as Blooms calls it, is there for me too! What gives??

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

kareoke .. Strictly, a shot in the dark here ...

Could there have possibly been something else 'in' the pic .. that Dave or any other adminstrators may could have considered 'questionable' .. or of some concern?

I've no clue, what was in your 1st pic .. but have merely wondered, if perhaps something (program on tv, screensaver, a painting, portrait, etc.) .. perhaps considered inappropiate was displayed. Or, perhaps something that DG may have deemed .. need not risk, being 'publicized', etc. .. out of concern for your safety and/or security, etc ... ?

But, then .. seems they'd have surely notified you either way tho' ...

I know there have been a few times, that I've come soo close to posting a particular pic .. then realized, in the nick o'time .. that something wasn't quite 'kosher' with pic ...

- Magpye

Edited .. cause I'm getting horrible at leaving words out! Geez! .. hee

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

There was a tv off to the left with a pic of a man on it. I didn't pay attention to who it was though.

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

I have never had anything removed by the Admins without an email explaining it.

Could just be a broken link?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I think the picture just didn't load properly. If we had removed it, we would have removed the entire post and sent a note saying why ;o)

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

Ahhh, jes another one of the infamous .. 'POOF' phenomenon !!

- Magpye

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

This red x thing happens occasionally on other photo sites. Not just a DG problem. No one ever seems to know exactly why. sometimes a right click solves the problem and sometimes it's just the 'dreaded red x' ~Blooms

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Well both pics are there for me now and after I do a page reload.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Kareoke, I have no trouble seeing it this morning and I am crazy about your 'putor area. Hot food, coffee, tv and DG - aaah perfection. BUT still want to know what's the statue critter who's attacking the greenhouse? and what's it made of - Please.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

I have had problems with my last pic loading. My computer is in my 12 year old daughter's room. It is LIME green. I try to keep my eyes on the screen.
She asked to paint it this color for two years.

Castro Valley, CA(Zone 9a)

The guy on the tv show was on "court tv", his neighbor kicked his little doggy and killed him, really sad, my tv just happened to have been on that channel, so I knew right away what it was!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

I've had DG withdrawl this week... NOT a pretty picture. Spent too many hours at the office & fighting flu at home. On top of it, the youngest had a school project and monopolized the computer every night. (I SWEAR she was just IMing all the time!)

Anyway, got a call from a friend to say they were taking my name in vain in the Lily Forum. just can't trust this bunch to leave a body alone....

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Wanda,
Hope you are feeling better. Have you had the full blown flu? We were supposed to get shots at my office but they cancelled the week before they were scheduled. Get well soon!

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Wanda, I hope you are feeling better. What if you had 3 teenagers! It can be like musical chairs here. I want a new computer for Christmas!
Dave's is so addictive.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

We have FOUR computers in our house and it's still a battle to get on one now that my DH's neice has come to live with us.

Springboro, OH(Zone 6a)

The "worst" thing about DG is that I'm going to bed far toooooo late for a woman about to give birth! I think this is a new form of nesting! LOL! Hmmmmm.......how many comments can I add to the PDB before Baby arrives.......hmmmmm.....

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Very cool! Your gonna be birthing a garden junkie!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

And that little baby can be told it really did come from the cabbage patch!

Springboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL! Crack up! I'll keep ya'll updated on the little one :)

cape may court house, NJ(Zone 6a)

I've been glued to this page.. you guy's are funny
For those of you who work, I think you should suggest this to your boss...
Ohhh Oliver just pooped in my keyboard!
