Went to Collingwood yesterday, Dianne you would not believe the houses being built over 100 cross elmvalle auction property and just left entering Wasaga beach hundreds more..not a wonder our roads can’t keep up.

LINDAKAY your gardens and grass must be completely hay..most of what I remember from Las Vegas to Liz’s was all dry hay, that when all the fires were going on, not a wonder, any kind of park would certainly start a fire..

Arrived an hour early and they took me immediately, used a scanner and took ohoto’s All angles of my arm and side arm, made me move arms in different directions then said ‘ok to go’ excuse me I said ‘you didn’t GO-Anywhere near my neck and shoulder where the pa8n is???’ She knew I wasn’t happy, nope..

She said ‘odd that the doctor didn’t mark you needed that area done’. As soon as I got home I called the specialist, had to leave voice mail to which their system said I’d get a call back with 48 hours..with this being the weekend likely not till Monday or Tuesday..grrr I’m not a happy camper..one would start with where I’m saying the pa8n is...

Phone rang at 7 this morning,unusual for him to be call8ng, of course you expect the worse..

Oh yeah he says, Mel and I want to take you to Barrie Mandarin for supper tonight...I said I had planned going to Barrie this afternoon because I wanted to go to michaels and I’d meat them there, he said not, Melanie likely would like to go to michaels then we would go eat..so 5:00 or 6:00 maybe earlier..

My goal is to have a quick nap before I go..

Betty I would have been livid too.Almost the same thing happened to DH way back in 2005. He got an appointment date with a specialist for almost 4 months away. I was steamed because he was in a lot of pain so I called the specialist's secretary. She was" that's the first time open" and I responded" he is in mega pain here". She said "I didn't see that" but I insisted so she brought up the referral. "You are right... it says that at the bottom of the referral". So she made an earlier appointment but told me I OWED her big time and a large chocolate bar would be fine. By that time I was spitting fire but said if that's what it takes fine. Needless to say I didn't take her a chocolate bar. She even came out of her office into the clinic and the secretaries asked her what she was doing out there.

No hints about pain management but that's why I get lost in music. It takes my mind off of the pain. One can't live on heavy doses of pain meds daily and get on with your life.No point in telling you to rest your neck and shoulder because you won't listen. We're cut from the same cloth Betty !!

Liz don't feel bad I know how to send photos to Debbie from my phone and then she posts them for me. I have no idea and deep down maybe I don't want to know. DH never wanted any photos taken shown to anyone.... he was very private that way.

Wow LK... feast or famine with rain in Texas.

What's everybody up to this weekend ? I have wood to stack but plan to go to the village's farmer's market.

I’m taking mega tylenol3s but they only take the edge off for awhile..pain isn’t any different wether I’m laying down or active..believe it or not I do rest a lot. When the gals were all here it was drugs and the excitement that got me through, I so enjoyed?
this morning I took a few darts in the shoulder guard Paul bought me, seems to help as its putting more pressure on the shoulder...big sigh. Poor Warren, he sure had a time of it.

I imagine you have a Mandarin in your region..I never go as I don’t eat enough to warrant $$$. I had been asked to go to movies with Suzanne and Lenny, Sylvester Stalone’s new movie then out to eat after and had said no...now I’m going out.

Dianne are you going to get all the rain they are calling for? Say rain for at least next 7 days

Our temps for September is maybe mid to high 90's. It is still 100+ No rain for 3 months. Needless to say not too many here have green grass. If they do, they have very high water Bill's. 6 hours to the east, in Houston, they have had 2 feet of rain in 2 days. Everyone over there is floating.

We traded in our Cadillac today for a 2019 Dodge Durango. I love the 3 rows of seats, for when I have the grandkids. 2nd and 3rd row of seats fold down for lots of cargo room if needed.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed though - have a new batch to make today, plus 20 chair booties, and decorations for Thanksgiving, yada yada. Oh, have to make a church banner for Ember season - something I'd never heard of before until our new minister mentioned it. Calls for a lot of Autumn seasonal colours.

Oh Betty so sorry, it's so frustrating when medics don't seem to pay attention. I sent you a P.M. but if not possible just say so.

I really miss driving my old Escape. I guess after 17 years of driving it we were comfortable together. My new Escape's dash looks like it belongs in an airplane.

So Susan does your church still celebrate Harvest Home? My childhood church was decorated to the nines for that. I came from a farming community so maybe that is why the church went all out decorating. I remember climbing a column inside the church to decorate and it started to move. The church was 150 years old then so I quickly scooted down.

Betty Weather Liars say no rain until Monday. Of course I have someone coming to do the eaves and the chimney.

Vehicle is stunning LIndakay..love the color. When the girls were here SHARON let us use her van, has the extra seats as well, sure made travelling as a group a lot more comfortable.

Seeing it’s raining and I did nothing but lay on the couch all day then at 7:30 found energy to 'get off and head to bed.


Been up since 8:30am, washing, floors,vacuuming done and now I get to play downstairs, problem is I used most of my Christmas supplies last year and it’s too early to buy in the stores.

Might have to move back a season and do a fall sign, whatever I do I hope it’s not laying on the couch.

Do you have hobby lobby up there? The stores here are full of Christmas items.

Got 2 snowman hats done, screwed up my parcel boards, hoping to fix them, gave a plank a coat of orange but because of the rain and dampness it just won’t dry..guess I will have to wait grrr

Dianne - never heard it called Harvest Home, but I've been asked to make an Embers banner, for Embers Season, in the midst of Pentacost. I'll see what I can do :) I did some research on it as it's apparently a fairly new celebration in the season as Pentacost is so long. I've been researching what banners could be appropriate.
Getting ready for next Sat's 1st Christmas Market in Three Hills. - started making Chinese Checkers boards. Bob's drilled the holes for the marbles and I started to paint them.

You are ambitious Susan..we must be energized by fall leaves..has to be hundreds of birds out there chanting, guess they are leaving for a better climate!

So damp nothing is drying. Guess the restaurant next door is closed sunday’s Now that he tourist have left..guess I’ll have to make my own lunch. Did take spaghetti out of the freezer though for tonight.

Greg and Jeff are out golfing, sure sign that fall is here..
