Light rain here but expect it to be a rainy day. There goes my outside plans for today.

Cleaning lady is here today. She couldn't come last week so even though I did the floors everyday the TH are blowing their coats.Lots of hair.

High of 50 but overcast..will take it!

Slept fairly well last night, I set out solar lights on a metal piece and set a large and medium solar globes out..wanted to go out when it was dark to see what it looked like, not, slept soundly and didn’t get to see what it looks like..am sure there will be another sleepless night I’ll get to check it out..

Will be a busy day, girls coming over this morning, plant sale a few miles from me so will head there, 3:00 appt for hair, 4:00 in elmvale for cadet lawnmower appt with salelady, might take a run to Barrie for bubbling rock water pump, see if I can buy a few packages of solar wood limbs that look like you’ve a fire going etc etc..put a bunch of things off lately, today is the day..

LIndakay, columbines are a gorgeous colour..with so much blooming it must be nice to walk amongst your your gardens..mine right now looks terrible, so much garden art..looks yummy till everything is in bloom and leaves on the trees and shrubs.

I saw the cushions on Darlene’s patio set that I made her with leftover fabric, don’t know what was in my mind when I bought 14 yards lol. Her set is under a roof so it can be left out..so vibrant in colours..anxious to get my set out after seeing hers.

I have a slider couch in the back that needs covering so that is next..

Must call mom, would like her to drive to Sharons, then Sharon can drive to Barrie on Saturday to the Market Pkace Buffet so we can celebrate Mothers Day..

As it’s warming up seem to feel a tad better re bones..there was a perennial sale in waubaushene, $1 each and driftwood mobiles so the girls and I went..bought 40 and 2 driftwood mobiles, now to find where to hang them...will take a photo when I get them out of the car..omg, when I got there the lady greeted me like an old friend she hadn’t seen in years..yep, hadn’t seen her in forever..lol

Linda saves me a trip to Barrie, picked up the solar logs, now to come up with a brilliant idea to make them look like they are burning..😜

Pat and I had lunch, I could go for a nap but hair appt is a 3 so best I stay up.

Bought on Saturday a pkg of painters cloth, could go downstairs and cut it into pillow s3ctions and see how many I get..am sure I still need about 10-15 so off to cut then get a new hairdo,then on for new riders...nothing wrong with rider I have but thought begpfore it breaks down I’d get a new one..told SUZANNE and Lenny they can have the old one. The self propelled push lawnmower is in for repair..hope he can fix it as it does area that I can’t get the rider around.

I have been lurking but very busy with Vern. He is being fed right now by the caregiver so I have a few moments. He is holding on and still has a good appetite. As long as he has a good appetite, I do not worry.

Betty, I know you make lists like I do. I have list and I got one thing done yesterday. There are ten things on my list and I take one at a time. I know how hard it is to sit and relax because I find it near impossible but have finally slowed down. You are younger than me but have more work to do because of your sewing and your garden. I do not have fallen limps to pick up and if I do, someone comes and does it for me. I have the mow and blow guys once a week and that is a big help. Here in Nevada, leaves fall constantly trying to help the trees survive the heat.

I just pray you learn how to slow down. And it is very difficult to do so but you will happier in the long run.

Karen, beautiful grand baby. We have no great grandchildren yet. Maybe in a couple of years. One grand son in law just graduated from Medical school and the other is just starting Medical school.

Need to go, Vern needs help. I will try to get back. Beautiful weather here but suppose to have Rain Thursday and Friday.

Heading off to bed, and will be saying prayers for those in need. Actually all the time 💖🙏
