Oh Mother Lambe's ...... I bet it tasted wonderful. Do they still have a booth at the arena? Many new artisans at Meaford this year ? Terry and Diane who used to own the Candle Factory opened it so they didn't have to go on the road to shows. They once set up in our booth in Windsor .....lol The show co-ordinator made them move.Are they the owners that are closing it ? Did you get any Honey Crisp apples?

Dianne, yes the candle factory was sold, last year open for Meaford festival, moving to Owen Sound. With it being on waterfront I can see condo’s build all along the property.

Lindakay, Mother Kambes is a roadside market, has a bit of craft items, apples of all sorts and a bakery, Suzanne came home with pies, I scones...yummy yummy!

I might sound stupid, but how were the pictures taken and not have tourists etc milling thru them? Is this Pre-pictures that were commercial that you posted? LOTS of great pumpkin figures and decoration, simply beautiful. Really makes me think about doing a figure or two at my house to decorate outside. It could be done soooooooo cheaply and would make a big impact.

Joanne was there early in the morning and the photo’s I took people just seem to move over for photo shoots..think debbie took nice ones the times she was here as well

Rita just getting ready to leave

She just has finishing toucheson 3 wine totes and her wreath of which we bought mesh ribbon after Halloween last year , we didn’t realize that it would turn out so big so hat too small, know dollarama has bigger, might take a quick trip into town as well pick up a little sign..I thought of making a broom with a dowel and raffia

Went to town and bought 10 red toques and scarves, just didn’t have the mitts then I have enough for the group coming to do the snowman glass block

Found the fruit of the loom black pullover, got the wrist bands and bottomba d of the sweatshirt off, next time I head downstairs I’ll cut the front in half so tomorrow I can start making a fall jacket

Our dollar store has "magic gloves" that come in wonderful choices of colors and stretch to fit any hand (magic!). Might be a viable cheap source for your glass block needs.

It's cranberry juice, I'm guessing these are the individual bottles found in the coolers at gas stations and party stores.

Is another brand you mix half juice half water in pitcher but similar shapes

Karen, that is pomegranate juice. I tried it once.don't know if it was the brand or maybe I got the concentrate, but it was horrible.

You are correct Linda, my goof. Pomegranate is not very sweet. They were a fad when I was in grade school but haven't had one since then.

I love Pomegranates. YES the juice is concentrate, DS got a bottle to drink in car and the face he made! LOL It was so funny, but once we diluted at home it was fine.

ALL the packaged juices are too strong for my taste. I always add at least 1/3 more water, or mix with sparking flavored water to extend it and lighten the taste.

My neighbour Carol was purging, and she gave us some clothes - 2 pair of jeans fit me beautifully! They're a smaller size than I thought I could wear, and they're not too tight! They fit really nicely. 👍 Bob approves lol

Morning, rainy day, everything is so wet and damp, bones bad and I’ve had a heache since Sunday..just enough of one to be annoying. Grrrrr

Girls were here this morning,always enjoy their morning with me..got up at 12:30 a.m. and went back to bed and slept until 8, lordy I was in a deep sleep.

Mom is suppose to come up tomorrow for a few days, hope she remembers I nap a lot lol

Got a call from doctors office this morning, I had a 4:30 appt and she called asking me if I’d mind if doctor did a house call, said that would be great but then I starting negative thoughts, what if he is coming to give me bad news vs giving it to me at the hospital sooo I had to have a talk to myself, tell myself that is silly sooo between 5 and 6:30 I wait for his visit.

Betty - he's likely not wanting you to make a trip when you're not feeling well, and you're on his way home. Anyway, he won't have any equipment & such, so no needing more tests, etc.

Hang in there Betty. We always assume the worse when the Dr.s do things like that.

He just left, all ok..he will wait for tomorrow’s test results to comeback, if it shows nothing he will contact a specialist who only deals with bowel.

He has over 200 patients who are over 80 (not me lol) and does care for those who wish to die at home so he had several patients to see in my area and thought he might as well include me.

Said once he was reading all the reports coming in on me he thought likely I’d be house bound, couldn’t believe how great I looked.

We went over meds, not to take some but take double of others.

Was a nice visit.

yeah, he's right - you DO look great, Betty (and no, I won't say that horrid thing "for your age"...... why do people feel they have to say that? ewwww). Very glad to hear you have a good Dr who will do house calls!

Our flooring guy has the subfloor done, and the lino cut for the floor - lots left over, 12' x 4'! Will figure out what to do with the excess. The roll of lino has been rolled up, shifted, walked on, etc, so has "ribbles" in it that will lay flat, when it's been laid for a while. I'm SO excited about the new floor!!
I'll post pics when it's done, and the washer/dryer is in and the toilet re-installed, AND Bob has to skirt the tub. That won't take long.
