Betty, I love that snowman quilt! The colors look much better laid out like that and very striking. You know me and my snowman history with my Mom. You made a good choice, I hope you like it when all together.

Pies looked great also....but I still need my Lemon Pie and butter tarts from you. lol

Chilly here but next couple days should be heat wave they said.

Waiting to hear your news!!!

Susan, that looks very nice!

Waving to all Prayers for Ailene.

Good news for my son Andy. He finally got to see the judge today, and he gave him custody of his son Rory.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Awwww Good for Andy and Rory.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Hooray for your son & grandson, Linda Kay!! That's awesome news!
We had a great Thanksgiving dinner tonight with 2 of our lady friends over. Then afterwards we three ladies played cards & had a few drinks. It's been a long time since I've sat and actually have a few drinks. Not tthat I'm a big drinker, but since about 2015 I first couldn't, then when I could I didn't feel much like it then when I could there was no one who wanted to or could.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Fabulous news lindakay, hope that puts your grandsons mind at ease that he will be well taken care of..bet Rory is over the moon..that was quick for a court case, must must have realized the urgency to hear it..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

It took 2 months from the time he filed the paperwork.
How are you feeling?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Off but think it has some to do with worry about Aline.

Can’t seem to get motivated..might put another snowman on machine, that or go put hooks out on back porch re winterizing back deck.

Warm day out there

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning, beautiful fall day, should be out working in the gardens but don’t feel like it..that tells you what kind of day I’m having..haven’t heard from Tom yet today, want to hear and yet don’t want to hear.

Left back deck door open, Ziggy enjoying freedom of coming in and out..here is hoping other critters don’t feel the same...sitting here I can hear the wind rustling in the leaves, lovely fall sound.

Haven’t had breakfast, best I get some

Victoria Harbour, ON

Not a wonder I’ve a headache, look at barometer spout, almost to top..heache time for sure

Lyndonville, NY

All my family on my Dads side are on the west side along with several dear friends.

Pray for everyone's safety.

Betty, I have the headache too. Went for doc today and more bloodwork Will know i a few days.

Such good news about Rory!!! All will sleep better

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Debbie - here's praying for a good result.
Prayer for everyone in the Fl panhandle, where Michael is supposed to hit the worst.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I was able to talk to my friend in Tallahassee last night. She has two pups from my last litter. They made it through the storm ok, no power, lots of tree branches down, but no major damage in her area.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, real fall day out there, lots of color, should go out and take a few photos..

Waiting to hear from Tom, didn’t get a call last night so will wait til 9:30 and give him a call, Aline must still be fighting for her life otherwise I’d have heard.

Watched Michael land yesterday in panhandle, Such destruction!

Debbie, hope your headaches are weather related and soon to improve once Mother Nature settles. Imagine, people at the beaches enjoying the day in the sun, last several days were unbelievable. They called for rain today but sky is clear, did rain during the night so maybe that is all it will be for our region.

Got notification that the Garden Gallery starting early November will be tirunelveli into a winter wonderland, the largest amount of lights in any one area..of course they have such Christmas displays and exquisite decor for sale I won’t want to miss it.

Few things need done today so best I get at it..need to clean craftroom as well seeing girls are coming tonight.

Enjoy your day

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Watching the news this morning, Florida and Georgia has so much damage. Praying for all.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Beautiful Karen..is it near water?

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Room for company. No Betty, no water except for a river not too far away.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Brrrr this morning. It was over 80* here yesterday with the humidity, Very low 50's right now.

Congratulations to your son LK on getting full custody of Rory. I was thinking about them on court date. Hoping Rory will find the inner peace and happy life he needs and deserves.

Morning all,

Brrr is right Dianne, it’s pouring rain here and damp, although furnace is on think of turning on the fireplace to get more warmth.

Darlene called, gabbed for an hour, looked at the clock and thought yikes, must get dressed seeing I have to head to the city this afternoon to Apple, charging unit on my iPad needs replacing, not sure if they do such repairs onsite or illhave to leave it.

Dianne, soon you will need A snowmobile suit right? Slap me silly think that lol

Karen, just love everything about the house, thinking how quickly the stars lined up, selling your house, finding a house and all before winter, that part of Tennessee gets a bit of snow right?

Everything is electric at the new house, not really happy about that. Especially don't like cooking electric. Might have to get propane enough to have a gas stove.
We do get a bit of snow but not often and it doesn't stick.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Perfect place for you then..

Lyndonville, NY

That would be a dream home for me! Love it! YES I would need gas also, hate cooking electric so much.

Hugs Betty Christmas display sounds so nice.

Chilly and overscast here, trying to get some things done on DH's vacation and not one thing falling in place. From tires being ordered and not coming, to paint not matching previous batch put on house and might have to paint entire house over if they can't match it up. DH is NOT happy.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

This is a dream home for us too. Had a log home before and so loved it. I'll be able to plant all the flowers I've been missing and a veggie garden. If we want we can put up a 20 foot Christmas tree. Not sure we'll go that crazy but we could if we wanted to.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

How many levels?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Sounds wonderful Karen...go for the 20’ tree lol
Sorry Debbie that things aren’t work8ngout on Paul’s work vacation. Big sigh

Just drove in Friday traffic in the rain grrrr
To make matters worse had to buy a new apple ipad. Big sigh

Didn’t want to limit access to up you all so bit the bullet.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Don't you have a desk top?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Yes, have computer upstairs and one downstairs but prefer ipad
