We have been in the mid 70's for a few weeks now, as it is cloudy, and misty. Humidity right now is 86%. But the gardens are slowly waking up with all the moisture.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

And we have our hummingbirds back!

Has the storm started yet Barb? Clear here so far

Drive safely. Keeping you both in our prayers.

Safe travels Barb and Norm. I am so glad you are getting there a day early.

Snow started about an hour ago and there are ice pellets in it. we are supposed to get at least a foot of snow. Everything is cancelled here except the Post Office. It's March Break for the schools so parents don't have to scramble to find day care or a babysitter.

Stay safe and warm everyone.

Safe travels Barbra and Norm.

Wow, beautiful Roses you have blooming Linda Kay! Oh my gosh, the hummers are back, lol meant to ask if they were back.
sigh, our winter is back, about 4-5 inches by the looks of my yard...Hopefully it's the last of the snow. Hate to say, but we NEED it, such a weird winter.

Well I got plenty of stuff to do inside! But guess what, main floor great clean up is complete!! I am so glad now it's just a matter of keeping up with normal household chores...

Yesterday played in the craft room...Ok jump back to Friday, Which reminds me,
Thank you about Julia!! She does look great if I do say so myself.. Oh my gosh, and so hormonal. Dianne, I think she is going to find out the baby today. It's as of today, 18weeks already.
Anyway, Friday went to spend the day with Sabrina! good gosh we shopped all day, was a really fun day. I'll show a few pictures, but will have to post from my phone. But in the meantime, tell you one of Breenie's most favorite places to shop is Goodwill...lol of course we went to 2 of them in her area. Well don't you know, I found a beautiful baby book...1.99 perfect condition it's a lullaby book, so I thought It would make a nice pre-mothers day gift. She is actually due August 8th.
So, while we had some cash bought the invites and paper items as well as a few decorations for a baby shower. lol not at goodwill. So yeppers I sure am ready.
Also, I started collection of baby cake items. lol, had to dig out pictures to see what I've included on previous diaper cakes. Hint, never shop with Breenie without a specific list, lol, this girl will have me buy EVERYTHING haha, including a few things for her..
Anyway, While I go straight for the books, she goes for the furniture, just look what she found for my Craft room!! yep at GW, 10 bucks for both pieces!
I made DH hang it the next day...I had everything marked, I just needed his height and strength, lol. So here are a few pictures
my craft room, is now pretty much arranged the way I like it. lol, just changed it again yesterday. You know, it's a matter of what works.
What was not working is my table at the window, oh gosh it was just too high.
So, I've avoided doing much at it, lol other than watch tv and eat. but I, myself down shifted it...ROFLOL, it took all morning!

OK, So, I'm back...lol

Susan, Sorry I missed your Birthday...so smiling to know your friend Susan arrived and is visiting at your new home. I sure hope your having a wonderful visit.
So, lol I see it was a Happy Birth Day for you.

Dianne, you had mentioned about Diesel having a rough time with beeping...wanted to tell you, poor Flo has the same issue, only hers is any shrill type sounds and she goes insane! lol, I have to vacuum very fast!
...And I have a story of the day for you.
so, I was taking down things from the wall in order to put new up, right?
Well I thought ooh wouldn't it be pretty to have the Stain Glass pieces on the hooks, and add a splash of color. So, I set about removing the humming bird.
Well, It didn't matter which way I unwound it from the latch, it did not come off. lol, I tried like three different times. So, they remain in the window where it clearly wants to be!

Betty, lol, told you about how Lynn got the finished lantern at Christmas. Well, She and hubby came for dinner. LOL, she gave me this little battery operated little lantern. But the fun thing is she said this is as creative as I get. We laughed as she said I'm just not as creative as you and your friends. she bought the decorative candle holder and added lights! wink, pretty creative to me!

Wow, sorry to hear your still having headaches...all I can say is listen to your head and rest, rest, rest. I still think your doing too much.

Debbie, Sending tight armwraps girl!! Geesh, sure hope you catch a break.
Glad to hear no one was hurt during that wind storm...It was pretty wicked here too.
It was Thursday here. Julia had to remove a pieces of aluminum soffit...it literally was pulled with the wind hanging by a thin piece. Yikes we just thought, that's going to hurt someone...
Anyway, I hope your able to be home and rest up.

Love your craft room Judy! Men get grumpy when we want to paint or re-arrange things. I say it is your room, change it all you want.

Betty, where are you today?

Safe travels Barb & Norm. Can you get a ride tomorrow? Cab or something?

Worried about our Betty,

Love your craft room also Judy. I like my sewing area being upstairs now. It's not that big but feels that way as it's all one big room up there. Looks to me like the humming bird is determined to stay in your window.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful lamp Judy.

Glenview, IL

Sorry everyone, was up at 6am finishing hand sewing on June's quilt so she could take it home with her, add garbage day and then fpgirlsgirls coming over and just now am sitting for a few minutes and thought I'd check up on everyone.

Sharon called about an hour ago, I have been good about posting on her Facebook link when I'm up in the a.m. She said she was getting worried as I hadn't done so yet today..have to be more vigilant especially when I've been complaint of headaches.

Just, you've put a lot of effort in reorganizing and cleaning,ns hound be easy for you to keep it same with a little work each morning, easier said then done right. Lol

I'm excited to hear what sex your new grandchild is, are they hoping more for one than other or like everyone, doesn't matter providing he/she is healthy.

Safe travels Norm and Barb, hope surgery doesn't get cancelled..will be checking in to make sure you are comfy in your hotel room.

No snow here yet, think it just might miss us

June ended up not coming as she was in mega pain today re leg/hands so here her quilt sits..Lordy, showed pat where the mistake was in the quilt, major one, she went back on photo's on her phone and wouldn't you know same error.

Need grilled cheese to keep me going until Noah brings over Kentucky fried chicken for supper.

Keep safe

Thinking of Norm and Barb this morning..hope the procedure isn't cancelled and by day's end we read a post saying 'Norm is on the road to recovery'

Sending prayers for both and arm wraps to get Barn through the day as I'm sure she is a nervous wreck..

May the Lord provide another miracle in our circle of friends!

Can't imagine how elated Barb is to get such news, weight of the world now off her their shoulders.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the update Dianne. WOW! 6 by passes!
Sending prayers for a speedy recovery.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

So glad to hear Norm's heart is strong & healthy.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Does anyone know what to do, take or use to stop getting shocks when touching things electricity galore in my body I guess

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

It's this dry air time of the year. There is a spray called Static Guard in the laundry stuff area. Just a light spray on slacks might help. It's supposed to be to stop slips from clinging but almost nobody wears slips anymore.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Will try it..someone said to put a humidifier on .. Makes it too damp for me.

Went next door and bought muffins, going to make a hot chocolate to go with them

Still early, wish I had energy to work on something..

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Betty - need to be careful with humidifiers, and keep them clean. Too many don't, and they are a breeder for mould & mildew, and you can get sick....

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning everyone,

Bitter cold day but sun is shinning..having my coffee and just enjoying sun beaming in..

I hope Norm had a good night and that Barb was able to rest knowing he is now on the road to recovery..maybe she will be able to drop in today, in the meantime sending prayers and hugs.

Deb how are the puppies?

Sharon is somewhere fin Pennsylvania at a dog show, think she is beginning show process with another puppy, said she had a horrendous dribble yesterday.

Debbie, you still snowed in?

Dianne, did you get much snow?

Susan I normally have the dehumidifier on as it's quite damp here so for the electricity I will try different method..Noah suggested dryer sheets, thought that might help, who knows, just might.

Not sure what I will get into today..either work on an unfinished project or start a new one but before I decide floors need to be washed.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

Pups are doing good. I'm finally getting more sleep, but think I slept too much overnight, have a hard time getting started today.

Ahhh, Deb, just too adorable..glad you are getting some rest, are you off work right now? Didn't get anything done this a.m.suzanne called and we chatted for about an hour, then June picked up her quilt, loved it, then Jim a friend from the city called me asking if I could do he and his wife a favour, hungry now so going next door for poutine, I'd be able to go just in a sweater but wind is crazy so will wear winter jacket..anxious to get into lighter clothing

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Please keep Todd in your prayers. We think he has had a mini stroke. Waiting on mri results to come back. He has been admitted for the night for observation.
Will post more when i hear something.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Oh no Lindakay, prayers certainly going out for Todd and you, am sure you are overwhelmed..let's hope it wasn't a stroke and if it was that there is no after effects..
Miracles do happen, am sure there is one for Todd

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thank you Betty. Still no test results. Waiting sucks.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Was he at work or did this happen at home

They have meds that they give upon arrival t hospital if they think it's a stroke right?
