Deb - an open MRI? I'd never heard of one either, and I've had a few.

Betty - you're right, we have no proof they received it - they haven't emailed moaning and complaining, or spitting nasty from every pore, so have nothing in proof.
I mentioned to Bob that he should put the camera on "armed / stay" but he didn't. Arming our alarm would automatically start our security camera and show them receiving the box of goods from us, but even so wouldn't show them getting the letter. And of course we don't have their new address, so it's still addressed to here. Regardless, if they're ducking out, at least we have peace & quiet lol they won't dare do/say anything to us to show they've gotten it LOL And, as of mid-August our email & ph# changes lol

Having trouble with the Alberta owl block? I would think we'd be easy lol and why an owl? I didn't realize that was an Alberta "thing"?

about my pink eye - I should also mention that we have a Hygenipak on our bathroom wall, filled with anti-bacterial soap, so it's not that I have dirty hands and touch my eye. It is just one eye anyway.

btw - I haven't mentioned my knees or swelling of my feet because my knees are feeling a lot better and I attribute that to my weight loss, and maybe it's the same with my feet?!?! Ever since I had that scan on my legs re: swelling, and wore stockings for one day after that, I haven't been having problems with the swelling. I'm watching them carefully, but both are feeling better - knees and legs! Crossing my fingers that it continues. Maybe too, the fact that I'm drinking more fresh juices, using my new-to-me juicer?!?! I don't know, but I'm enjoying the relief!

We've had rain off and on today some of it quite a gully washer..

Susan I don't know anything about that Celtic Mother. Just a pretty I saw and really liked. Might find more on Google.

Susan glad your doing better, seems you are trying to do all the right thinks..horned owl is your province official 'bird' it was more having right fabrics than anything else..bough fabric that has a bit of grain like tree so I'll cut 4 branches out in the a.m and that block is done.

Went out for an early meal with a friend of mine..Swiss chalet, been years since I've been there..yummy, ended up bring leftovers home, think Missy could smell it..fed her a good portion, she now wants out but no go, learned my lesson, not spending all night up tonight that is for sure

Wow Betty - the Things I Learn here! I had no idea that the owl was Alberta's provincial bird! Glad to hear you've finished this difficult block. I can well understand how it would have been difficult, what with all the shades of brown required, without having the bird & the tree come out looking the same.

I just had an idea about why I'm not having problems with swelling in my legs (and it seemed to get better after my leg exam!)!! I think that the exam was almost a massage, and it did seem to make them feel better afterwards! Hmmmmmmm maybe Bob needs to give me a leg massage every day LOL

Good luck talking Bob into giving you massages..

Lordy talk about thunder, grandma used to say it was angels bowling up there, we'll ALL the lanes must be in use..it's eerie, got black almost instantly so we are in for one heck of a storm
