I'm sure that is not the case, just takes a bit longer to canada a dwe are nowhere near as quick as your postal service

The block needs to be prepped before we work on them, better when they cure a day or two so will be back when the girls leave today!

PREPING YOUR GLASS BLOCK


Take backing off mactac after you've cut the inner circle out..
Note: if I've not done the cutting for you cut inside the line as not to enlarge the face

Place on your glass block so that the bottom of the circle is just above the block ridge, if it's not quite entered lift it off and re-centre

Make sure you press mactac to glass so there will be no seepage under the mac tack

Now your blocks are clear, that's great, these were given to me and will do as extra's but yours will look better. Lol

Now brush on the glass and tile medium, should be enough for a good coat..when dry it will have a film as in the photo, if streaky you've skimped, some left to do again..it's like water so it does go a long way

Dang! Won't be able to do my block until Saturday. Girls are coming over tomorrow to make jelly and salsa. Friday, I have pottery! Might get to it Friday evening if nothing comes up!

Has anyone cut the circle in your mactac if you got one that needed cutting and painted the glass and tile medium? Does it look frosty now that it's dry?

just cut mine and painted it, waiting on it to dry. What time zone are you in Betty?
