thing is, even in the winter, we CAN evict them even with a child apparently.
I'm going to speak to the Constable who attended on Sept 25th, and see if he will be a material witness to her saying she admits that everything I said was true and factual......

Better for you then, here is hoping it can all be resolved

I washed more glassware for an hour or two. Found some apple things for Tony's wife - her kitchen is apple-themed. I also found four pepper decorated plates. Very colorful so I gave them to Tony to. Things like these are not available here so I look for then in San Diego thrift stores. Barbara took six plates and a bowl home with her. She was asking if I was sure I didn't mind and I was almost begging her to take more.

Spending a lot of time on Pinterest looking at glass flowers.

Also cutting barrels for big planters for all my little trees.

Now I'm taking a poker break but Barbara will be back any time.

Our weather is beginning to cool off. I can breath again!!

hugs, katie

Are you sick Betty?

Susan, I hope you find a legal resolution to all this soon. What did legal counsel say about where you are living?

Had cereal for breakfast, soup for lunch and for desert one of those little packages of smarties you give out at Halloween, bet there weren't 10 smarties in them..who knows, tummy settling now

Could be something in the soup? Maybe bad milk on the cereal? Glad your doing better.

Debbie, did Shane go to work?

Lyndonville, NY

Yes, Shane went to work yesterday and today. Just came home and showered, at some chili and corn bread....and headed to friends house. He did take some Ibuprofin.

Betty, eating smarties...if your blood sugar is messed up, it can do that. Give you a hypoglycemic reation or something similar with blood sugar.

Thanks for the bird feeder pictures. I have some of those feeders. And Jars. Now if I can find them!!

Betty - glad you're feeling better - getting sick like that, all of a sudden, is scary.

LK - don't think the eviction notice we gave them on the 3rd will do it. If they pay during the notice period, it nulls the notice. It would have to be for habitual lateness
See Legal Council tomorrow night at 7pm. We'll see what they say.
In the meantime, our landlords keep their heat thermostatically controlled, not realizing 1.Basements are always colder, and 2.Electric heat (they gave us an electric heater to use) is more costly than oil & gas.
They have it so the heater shuts off when it gets to a certain temp in their place - but it isn't that temp here. They turn the heat on when they have showers in the morning, then turn it off all day, until nighttime, then off again when they go to bed. They go to bed around 2am, but the heat doesn't get turned on until 8pm

Nice to be young Debbie, these injuries don't seem slow them down any!

Hope you can make a few Katie..our feed stores don't have any in stock, agent will check on the cost and call me,think around $5 each which still makes a reasonable project.

Susan, get a thermometer and put a clock next to it and take photo's at different times of the night and show them..that simply isn't right.

Heading to bed, not tired bit I can read for a bit

Bob called Robert down last night to show him how cold it is here. We each put our hands on his warm cheek - they were like ice. He turned the heat on then, but when it heats up enough upstairs, it still doesn't warm the downstairs. Geeze - I was going to get a thermometer when we were out today... forgot - ooooops

Today we went to the Kerby Center (for seniors 55+) and picked up a walker for me, then a rolling cloth grocery bag (it walks up or down stairs, with 3 wheels instead of 1 on each side!) - works like a dream, and I can use it with the walker. Freedom! The walker only cost $40, has a seat, storage under the seat, and a pouch besides that. Folds up, too. It's a really nice one! deep Cobalt Blue

Betty, I got my feeders on eBay. Don't know if you can find a seller who will mail to Canada but there were several. Might be worth checking.

I'm tired but I got lots of dishes washed and six planters cut.
