Still have the pain and pressure and that's easy to put up with seeing it wasn't a heart attack.
Just not sure what all those tests do, just see if you are having one?? Specialist to check on my heart, wonder why..who knows how long it takes, they sent referral in as I was being discharged..should be interesting.

Betty I was told it can take 6 hours for the proteins to show up IF it is heart related. This is what happened the one time they said it wasn't a heart attack. All the pain was the same but was still scolded by Dr. and later letter from insurance company. Dr. told me I needed to differentiate between the pains.....Hello, I said it was the same pain. Ins. Co said I should have just gone to Urgent care. I'd already had 2 heart attacks and right after this had the third.
Siiigh, why I distrust Drs. and don't like hospitals.

Felt Karen I had wasted my time..that's why I was there so long, did blood test at 7,good results, didn't want to take a chance, did another at 10:30 then an hour wait for results, then did ecg's front and back of the heart..blood pressure was all over the scale, but did give me piece of mind.

Seems when I sit doing not too much the ache goes away, get active and pressure is there..likely a muscle I pulled.

You are right about not costing anything, hate to think what that visit to the hospital cost..less stress for sure not having to get approval from any agency, just walk in and get the best of care,really we are lucky

That is terrible Karen, don't listen to them after having heart attacks you don't want to take a chance that's for sure.

Lorna is tackling a HUGE big project right now .. and .. I am, again, amazed ..
She is 'lifting' (delimbing) a bunch of trees that have grown out and over 'markers' .. about 10 of them .. she didn't even know they were there !! She is amazed that no families complained about it ..
She promises to take care, and, she has a good nourishing lunch, and, lots to drink .. even though, with temps only in the low 50s she won't need that much to drink.

Betty, they look at the enzymes excreted into the blood ... kind of a huge scientific explanation .. just good you got it looked into ..

I finally got a pre op date with the surgeon. Oct. 26th. But I was told to call back every few days to see if there has been a cancellation.

spent time with Adam, Emily & Marshall - then time with my daughter Michelle & sil Lonnie, and sister Ruth and time with my mom - it was pretty awesome. Sat next to my brother Stan at the service, and talked a bit with my sister Evelyn (the "prickly" one..... who got along great with with our sister Alice)

Great news Lindakay, still a long way away but who knows, you just might get in earlier. Talked to Aline yesterday, she said this hip was a little harder to recoup than her other one, well yes, that was 5 years ago, she is now 74 but says its minimal pain compared to what she was enduring so here is hoping same for you.

"m" sure hope there are other coworkers on the ground just in case..maybe she should phone you every 1/2 hr so you don't worry..likely there was no complaints re the trees because there is nobody left in their families to complain.

Are the leaves turning in your area, Linda is gone to Aguana for the train ride, she is hoping there is color.

Know Joyce and the gals were hoping for color..perhaps we will get some Saturday when we do Huntsville and Bracebridge.

Susan, you were there for such a short time and for such a difficult event that it was hard spending Ny great amount of time with each..great you did see all though..how was your mom?

Betty, I get a similar pain sometimes, and the doctors determined that it was Costochondritis, inflammation where one of the ribs attaches to the breastbone. Sometimes it gets really hot and swollen too but I could never pin down a cause, and it just took time to go away and some aspirin. Makes it hard to breathe because if you breathe too deeply, it hurts and hurts when you move, when you lay down, and the first time I had it thought I was having a heart attack. Luckily the doctor I saw diagnosed it right off as the blood work showed no problems.

That said, as Karen has noted, its hard to tell the diff between the pain of a heart attack and other heart pains, especially as a woman. Men's symptoms are not as variable as women's seem to be for heart attacks. Better to have it checked out than to not wake up!

My mom was great actually - When I visited her at the care home on Saturday, the Pastoral Care Worker came by (as she does every Saturday) and the three of us prayed together, and she had words of comfort for mom. It sounds odd, but Mom was so comforted that she positively glowed afterwards, knowing that Alice is with the Lord and out of pain.

She sounds very much like my grandmother Susan, they live with the thought of death more than we seeing their age, and yes, knowing she and Alice will meet up one day would give her comfort.

Terri, thanks, do know it's something simple..always great when you get an accurate diagnosis .
Will head into town in a few hours, quick run in run home, will go to drug store and get something for heartburn and see if that helps

Gotta be quick, don't want to miss the arrival of those gals.

I just spoke to someone at my bank - yesterday they called me saying that my credit card had arrived at their branch. I hadn't left Winnipeg at that point. Mastercard had sent my new card by regular mail, not courier as they said they would (and they kept saying that I should have gotten it at my bank branch last Wed or Thurs). The person I spoke to at the bank said when I come in to get the new card that I should put something in writing, and they will escalate this. It seems that the whole branch knows the story, and the Branch Manager is so very sorry this happened. I told the branch that they, and Westjet, were wonderful but that Mastercard "dropped me so many times I have a welt on my head". The lady at the branch apologized again, and said they will escalate this.

Thank goodness it didn't stop you from going Susan.

Mastercard told me the best way to get the ticket, seeing as how I didn't have the card, was to go to the airport and pay cash. I didn't have a problem with that, seeing as how it was my only choice. I did have a problem with all the "stories" they told me, and having to drive 40 min each way to make up for their lack of information. I don't know what the bank will do, however only 50% of Mastercard people were polite about it. The rest were "just the facts, ma'am" types who weren't looking after a distraught person who was dealing with a bereavement....... and they weren't helping matters.

Girls are about 20 minutes away..hurrah

Make sure you all give and get hugs from each other for us.

I cannot BELIEVE our tenants are saying this about us:
PLEASE HELP STOP THE MIDFIELD PARK EVICTION!!! THE EVICTION AT NUMBER 77!!
WE HAVE SUPPORTED MIDFIELD IN THE EVICTION BATTLE AGAINST THE CITY OF CALGARY, SO PERHAPS MIDFIELD WILL SUPPORT US AT NUMBER 77 IN OUR EVICTION BATTLE AGAINST BOB AND SUE MACKENZIE.
Bob and Sue wanted to move back into the mobile they have rented to us for a year. They started to become very pushy and nasty, kept trying to push us - a couple and an infant of one year - to live in their dilapidated, dirty old Winnebago. We said no, that is wrong and they served us with a two week eviction notice.
We would like to know why the residents of Midfield are unhappy with two years notice and compensation, and why the very same residents have given us two weeks notice and admitted that they have spent the deposit (which is illegal to do under Albertan tenancy law).
There is now a journalist with the Calgary Sun who wants to know why Susan Mackenzie who appeared in the Calgary Sun (April 2015) complaining of mistreatment by the city, is treating other people in the same way she complained about, but much much worse. We think it only fair to post this on the Midfield pages to give the good people in this park the opportunity to respond before this goes to print, and before we appeal to the City of Calgary and Mayor Nenshi for help against Midfield residents - we don’t know or think the pad rental is being paid.
Please remember that when you see Bob and Sue Mackenzie creeping around the park that they are harassing us. They are often here trying to get Carolyn on her own and to try and coerce her. We think this is very wrong. We do hope that you will support us against our eviction as we support you against yours.

I told her that we Didn't want them to stay in the RV, and we Haven't spent their Damage Deposit - don't know where they got that from. It't one thing we would Not do - we may be short of our own funds, but that is $$ kept in trust, not for our personal use.
Also told her that this is slanderour of them to say, on the Park's group page, turning the park residents against us.

Her docs apt for today was changed to tomorrow .. so frustrating ... happily her boss is ok with anything she does re appts .. other people may not be as lucky with an employer .. I know if I had booked off Thursday for an apt., and it had gotten switched like Lornas was, I would have NOT been given the time off on Friday.. nursing is like that ..

Susan .. again I am speechless, and absolutely taken aback .. and, that's all I can say ..

Smokey is fading, today may be decision day .. I am so torn .. but, something has to be done.

Landlords & Tenants say we cannot give them 3 month's notice and they can stay out the entire year, but when I told them about the slander, she suggested I contact Calgary Legal Guidance and I'm on musical hold "you are caller #2"........

Hoping you can get this to stop, Susan. You and Bob have been through way too much in the past 6 months. I thought you're tenants wanted to leave to move back to Europe. Why are they being so nasty. Totally uncalled for!

Now they're are telling the people in the park that they are NOT moving to Wales.
I spoke to Residential Tenancy and they said 1. they can stay the entire year until Jan 15th.
2. When I told them about the slander our tenants are saying on a Midfield group page, RT said this is way over what they can deal with and gave me the ph# for Calgary Legal Guidance and when I called Calgary Legal Guidance, I got an Intake worker voice mail and it said it could be up to 3 days for them to get back to me. That puts it at Sept 27th.

Hope all is well, and, intact down there in Southern Ontario .. in other words .. the GO GO sisters are having a good, good time :-)

Susan .. I am truly a believer in KARMA, and I sincerely hope it shall come to pass for these 2 malicious adults .. so .. they are no longer going overseas ?

Lorna and I were out and about and now back .. Smokey is cuddled up to and asleep on the love seat with Gordon .. he is not suffering, but, he is so weak .. drinks water, but will only snarf down some table scraps .. hearts are breaking, appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers ..

apparently they're not, Marilynne - maybe that was a ruse so we wouldn't feel bad about they allowing us back in, and now it comes to light when they become their true selves? They told our landlords that they were moving into an apartment to allow us in.
btw - I went upstairs to thank Grace & Robert for letting us stay, on a month to month rent here, and although I know someone's home but no car, they didn't answer - Remy was barking so they knew someone was at the door......
She asked Bob that I not email. I suppose because they don't read their email often

I wish I knew what was going on. We don't know how long we can stay here either - month to month and they can decide to evict us because they need to raise the rent....... I'm supposing that they're supposing that M&C are moving out soon..... because M&C told them they were. I wasn't there when Bob talked to G&R
