Wonder what border people will do with all those crafts?
best/Worse/What did I learn today?chat with friends old/new!
Carolyn did say that Marcel tends to sweep everything into a drawer or somewhere else and she can't find her own mail sometimes (in an email, which the police read)
Just off the phone with the Post Office - they'll call me back and get our address changed and deal with the issue of withholding the mail - within 2 business days....
And, I wait ..
Finally just went and showered, gave DH the phone and told him to hand it to me if need be.
Glad your phone calls were answered Susan
Was wondering about the border stop myself LK .. hopefully they just let them on through
One of my friends just called and I to give her the bums rush .. she understood ..
Back to waiting .. ..
Can you all again"M"?
they'd have one heck of a fight I think if someone wanted them to leave their treasures
I can't talk about this anymore, will take hiatus from here, and anywhere else that I can't deal with.......
I'll be back another time.
Everything in its own good time ..
The message I left at 8am was with a good person, and, I do know Lorna's hematologist is a very busy man .. he works with the Cancer Clinic here .. very personable, and, he has the blood results on his desk ..
Far as I can remember, call backs come around now .. But to me, urgent IS urgent !
Perhaps NO news, is, GOOD news .. in that perhaps the levels don't scare him off like they did me.
You can get your blood results online now, kinda neat :-)
~M~
I think I would call them back, before they close for the day.
.
Bitten by fire ants. Just took a Benadryl.
AAARRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
kb
Sure hope Katie you don't become immune to Benadryl..is there a time when the ants are at a minimum I.e. In cooler temps? Do they bite the furries as well?
Susan, I pray that somehow you can find some peace, your life has been beyond stressful..got to become good news somewhere for you.
I think those fire ants will bite anything that gets in the way.
Oh Katie, hope the Benadryl works ..
I would call back, but, I find that sometimes when I do that it gets to be a great shemozzle with too many people involved ..
Thing is, tomorrow morning I go d=for my injection for 8:30 .. DH and I will go for breakfast following that, then some grocery shopping ..
I won't be home to take a call .. will have to be on my cell .. and, Lorna was expecting me to drive her so she could just go in without having to find a parking spot ..
Jeeze .. quite the situation ...
Lorna is due home in half an hour
Take care Susan ..
Maybe we need a new thread :-)
~M~
Was thinking same "M"' perhaps he has looked at it and good news to come so is prioritizing..that would be fantastic..Lorna must be beside herself but trying not to worry.
Lindakay, do you have to make another trip to San Antonio re a pre-op before the operation operation?
Talk about being in slow motion, did housework this a.m. And now I'm at a complete stop
Your land is hard clay/like Lindakay, does that mean you have no a ants?
I've a lot of sand, mega ants in the gardens bi put not in the house..not fire ants though.
Think I wI'll make a quick run into town..lots of left overs so no cooking tonight. Need to check what I need to orepRe for the gals who come tomorrow, mam sure I'm missing something I was to do for them
Betty, we still have a to here. Tarantulas also live in the ground.
Yes, after I see the doctor for evaluation, I will most likely have to go back for pre-op, then for surgery. Sometimes I can get lab work and EKG here. But it is a hassle for the doctor here get it to San Antonio in time.
So likely you will be in San Antonio for a few days before surgery..are you fretting about it or just relieved it will finally be over?
Tarantulas, omg, worse to me than our rattlers..
I am looking forward to getting it over. I am so tired of this pain.
We have rattlesnakes here too, but I have never seen one in the yard. Plenty on the highway though.
I can just imagine how anxious you are Lindakay..
Guess we all have bugs and critters
Been playing with rocks, soil, plants and mulch, sweating big topi me..wanted to get the 4 plants I bought this afternoon in the ground, feels like rain..if it doesn't I'll water really good in the morning
Have left overs but bought some just picked corn on the cob, love it cold so It will not go to waste.. AND the best roast I ever had was the one Joyce cooked..she'll have to give you the how to. Girls here had a taste, all are opting to cook theirs same way...easy easy but delicious big time. So glad it wasn't all eaten up because I will soon enjoy tonight
Hot bath, Jammies, eat then have an early night..will try though to stay up ip until I hear the gals made it home safely.

When we lived in FL the fire ants weren't there yet. Now they are everywhere down there. You have to be careful walking or working in your yard.
Wrong thread Betty.
