Fired up bbq, think I've used it 4 times in 10 yrs, letting it cool down and I will put new cover on it.

Imagine, other than the pond I've accomplished all and more of my to do list

Actually sitting wondering what to do with my day, maybe get a tan 😎

Gord is having a B A D day !!! Stiff and sore, had to help him dress .. gawd, now I think it could be gout, so, he's trying his gout meds .. no fun at all ..

Dreary skies have bugged off .. cleaned the bathrooms and have the towels and rugs in the washing machine ..

We have RABBITS .. big and small .. poor dogs are ready to go nuts .. and, the rabbits show no fear of the dogs, I think they must know they can't get out ..
Cute lil bunnies .. won't be saying that if they eat my yet to show itself, Hosta !!!

Sorry to hear hubby is sore today "M". So many things it could be, and so many test to go through to figure it out.

Sorry to hear Gord is having a rough day. Gout is not fun. My ex Tim has it. With that said . "serves him right " LOL i don't have much compassion for him. He deserves his pain. LOL.

We're still HOPING to rent our place (or sell it), and went to look at the new place - Ker wants us to move in the end of MAY!!!!!!!!!! omg............ 4 weeks today........

Anyway, I've been busy, busy, busy trying to clean up the yard. The pond club is going on a one day bus tour on June 6th. First stop??? My garden! Ack!! Talk about pressure!

Last Tuesday I got a tick between my toes that had started a feast....quit laughing its not funny!! Anyway, Friday I finally went to the Doctor. Oh my goodness it itched soooo bad. Got infected, looks awful. He put me on an antibiotic and gave me some heavy duty ointment for the itching. I hope I never ever get a tick on me again!!

Gardens are coloring up nicely. It's to be warm this week with nighttime lows in the 50s and 60s. Soooo time to take those plants outside I've been ignoring all winter! Hope some of them are still alive!!

oh yeah....... garden at the new place lol
we went to a Garden center (Sentre) to look at stuff - beautiful, but can't put $$ out on gardening, not with the new rent being higher........

Hi - Didn't read everything but want to let you all know that I'm safe in San Francisco at my friend's house. Will work on my presentation tomorrow, Board meets Tuesday in Oakland. I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Will keep you posted.

Good morning everyone. We are back home from Brandon's Nationals. What a weekend. It was so great. His school, University of Findlay (Ohio) came in second in the whole country!!!!
It was long days of sitting and watching these amazing young men and women go through their paces but I enjoyed it so much. Needless to say, I'm really proud. A cousin of mine who lives nearby the arena came and spent the days with us. She and her husband have are horse people and she was able to help explain what was going on and what to look for etc. I am totally wiped out now and it will take days for the stiff neck to go away but I'm so glad we were able to go...
Back to normal this week!!! LOL

next door neighbor said he knew of a young man looking for work, even a few hours so tonight will get his number so he can remove the rest of the slate and rock for me then when repaired will
ask him to come back and set it back in

this last month has been a b*&&^r so I'm thinking it might be a nice day to go shopping, browsing, out for lunch..haven't a clue what to get mom for Mother's Day..have flowers for her mom's grave, she likes it when I go clean her mom's grave and put flowers, she'd rather that than anything but need something to give her..maybe I'll call sibblings and see if we can all meet up and take her out for brunch

Omg, it's hard to believe that in one short day Mother Nature could do her thing..what seemed to be peach fuzz on the trees yesterday now has a bright tone of green..I'm in awe!

siiiiiiigh - so tired - really started packing in earnest - we move in less than 4 weeks, and I've been blessed with someone to help me pack on Wed, and someone who will help Bob move, on May 30th.
It's our neighbours in the Park - I asked, and two replied - yaaaaaaay! One will come by on Wed afternoon to help me pack, and the other one will be here on Sat the 30th.
I didn't make dinner tonight (too brain tired), and so Bob went to the new place, to work on the floors.
I think I'll go to Subway and get us both some subs.
I am at the Polls all day tomorrow, so I need to get some food ready. I'll be there from 8:30 am to 9pm - lots of stuff to drink & eat, plus a freezer pack should do.

Hope you are resting Susan..will indeed be a long day at the polls..wonderful you will have help even for a bit. Although excited for you I worry, what happens if you don't sell or rent your place?? Wouldn't it have been better to stay where you own? Not trying to burst your bubble just seems that at this time you could go backwards instead of forward

Hi - Got my writing done and printed. Will try to get copies made tomorrow. The meeting starts at 9:30am.

I lay down for a nap this afternoon and fell sound asleep. Michael woke me up when he was leaving to go to his girlfriend's for the night. I think I was on another planet.

I'd asked Michael to go with me and he would but he's got some difficult work he's doing so I assured him I'd be OK. Told him I've got friends all around the world and, of course, Amma.

I'm nervous but OK. I ran some of the stuff past Michael and his girlfriend, Jane, last night at dinner and they got it. I'm also hanging on to the sympathy from the IRS people from when they told me what the retirement people had done.

Susan only thinks she'll be at the polls. She'll be in Oakland along with the rest of you and we'll kick some butt.

just put the door that didn't fare well this winter into the fire pit..think maybe I'll take a run to Barrie, re-use it center / garden center and see if I can find something to replace it..
