Prayers for Heather, what a time she is having. How is Dylan doing? And we haven't heard about the miracle twins lately.

I am ranting and writing about the retirement people. getting more focused with fewer rants. Lots of help from Maria and DAna. Dana reminded me yesterday that since I've had almost thirty years of problems and know what kinds of "service" they are providing I must do this. I agree. It still occupies so much of my mind that I need to communicate. Checking out AARP and social media. With any kind of support from others I can maybe relax and get back to doing fun stuff. Although, the thought of thoroughly embarrassing ACERA employees and - even better - Board members does make me happy.

Heard from my friend and former attorney - who has stopped being an attorney partly due to this horrible experience. She is in Maine but her daughter in Ca. will copy the file from the lawsuit we lost and send it to me to have when I return to Ca. in about two weeks.

This is our best weather and I'm doing some gardening between writing spells. I'm making self-contained planters for the blueberry plants I brought from Ca. In containers we will be able to move them to the coolest spots possible in our hottest weather. I have mint that is doing well in a similar container. We'll see if it survives the summer. While cold weather is the survival challenge in the North, it is the boiling in the ground of our summers that is the threat here. I sure would like to grow blueberries so I got four nice plants at Walmart.

Brain is in overdrive so I'm back to work.

Dylan is doing fine, but he keeps crying for his momma, and telling me wants to go home. Momma and Daddy call several times a day on Skype.

katie - go ahead and rant - you're speaking out not only for yourself, but for anyone else who may have experienced this type of wrong-doing.........

Poor little guy. Tell Dylan that lots of people are praying for his momma and that he can go home really soon. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers Linda Kay.

Visit is going OK .. Lorna's Dad is such a stubborn guy .. keeps thnking he is 30 and his COPD IS FLARING UP BIGTIME .. he just won't let us help him and, ends up hurting himself, he can't walk that far at all .. Lorna's Mom is a SAINT! ..

Heather was told she does not have viral minigitus. They are still doing all kinds of blood test, and she went in for an MRI about an hour ago. I imagine it will be tomorrow before she hears anything.

got a ticket today.. coming home from Tom's . uuhhhggg. clocked me at 84mph... goodness i don't drive that fast ever ! ask Cookie ! LOL. but that Luke Bryan songs just make me wanna sing.

OUCH .. guess it'd depend what kind of a 'zone' it was in .. speed wise .. ie, doing 84 in a 60 etc ..
Been there, done that .. 80 in a 65 .. same thing, music, highway, sun, no one on the road ..

Sure hope Betty is doing better .. and, that she checks her post box every so often..

As I mentioned, despite crummy weather, the visit is going well .. tomorrow a bit of a reprieve for DH and myself as we take the dogs to the groomer (only 2 of them) Zoey will stay home with Lorna and her folks, Zoey goes next wek .. no more 3 dogs o the groomer at once !!!

Off to watch NCIS ..

Well, the hospital released Heather this afternoon, they Dr.s said all test came back negative. They told her to continue to see her pain management Dr. Very upsetting for her to say the least!

Good to hear Heather was discharged from hosp, but, not so nice to hear there was no definitive diagnosis ..

Wowweee, I am so excited!! I've been researching silk roses. Chose a place , ordered. Not only did I receive them in 2 days...but they are absolutely Stunning! Sent my Bride a picture and she loves them...So I began my creation, I'm very pleased, very pleased indeed!

Crows have had me up nice and early .. no idea what has them so jazzed !
Best I go out and feed them .. yes .. I have 2 'pet crows', am thinking it isn't them making the kafuffle out there .
And, we have ROBINS, by the hundreds .. word about town is that we had best get ready for a summer filled with TENT CATERPILLARS .. huge YUK!!!

The visit is going well, will admit I'm tired, but, I'll survive . her Dad is sure not looking well ..

Susan, my 80yr old brother is moving from the family home (he and his wife raised 6 kids in it), it's on the lake and they have been there over 50 years .. talk about treasures being tossed or kept ..

So COLD here ..still snow laying about as well .. this too shall pass.

austin is still having trouble with school. His math teacher emailed me. He was in tears during class. he didn't understand the work. teacher tried to help but he shuts down. He cried during class..... *sigh*

Well, Dylan went home with Mamma and daddy yesterday, but while Andy was here, helped me plant all my cannas in the big raised bed, then put the red mulch down for me! All I have to do is put all the garden art back in place, then clean up the front of it, and it is done.

So sorry to hear about Austin having problems. Maybe they can help get a tutor for him?

We're going to toss, donate, have a garage sale, and Renfrew United Church has 2 sales per year - you rent the table(s) (I get 2 every year) and bring your own stuff to sell. The proceeds from the table rent goes to the Church and we get the proceeds from our sale. It's May 9th - couldn't come at a better time.........as it looks like we're moving the end of June and what we don't sell at the Church sale can go in a Garage Sale.

Just got a letter from the iRS and they are again threatening a lawsuit. Apparently didn't get the word from the San Diego IRS people. I'm OK. Not happy, but OK. hugs, katie
