Thank You Linda Kay .....it's seems so weird to have plans to do something and be able to afford to do it ! I about died when 2 tickets to the show cost $140 .Like I said this kind of life is so different from what we have known .We were just always content to just set at home and be together .Or go on a bike ride on a warm sunny day .Something that cost little or nothing at all has been our entire marriage .

LOL Enjoy your date night!!! I think couples should always have a date night. I hope to meet a nice guy that will take me on dates every now and then. I have been chatting with a guy on BON it's a biker site. He just moved back to Cali after being in Minnesota for 25 yrs and his motorcycle is still back there. But he's only 46, lol I am NOT dating anymore guys younger than me!!! I am looking for someone stable and has his stuff together like my friend Ron...... here is a pic of him and his bike. I'll be riding in comfort, yeah baby!!!!! Don't know when we'll take our first ride, but right now I have a lot on my plate until Mother's Day weekend then after that I'm a free bird!!! I've already made plans with girlfriends to get out and about :) So I am feeling better and better about this new chapter in my life. Only thing that is hurting my heart is leaving Amy behind. Makes me so sad to see how sad she is and Doug is not taking good care of her. She is way past due for shots and needs surgery on her right hind leg, that is really painful for her now.

Very nice bike ! I told Rick after we get the car paid off he can get another bike ,he wants a full dresser ! He said Harley or Honda either one would be good for him .Right now he has a 1986 Honda Magna V65 .It's a Fast bike ,they were made for speed and are still on peoples want list !

the 1982 Honda Goldwing was called a "couch on wheels" - a highway bike, meant for comfort on long rides. I know I sure loved it. Had the saddlebags and rear storage, so we could go grocery shopping quite easily.
The bike is the reason we met :-)

Synda, he is doing GREAT!!! Still has a few problems every now and then but is back to riding his motorcycle!!! Just short trips close to home and never alone. Here is the latest pic of him with his buddies. He's the one with skulls. They are out riding today.

I keep thinking of my current situation, and all this talk about bikes leads me to memories of my ex.
He had a 1972 Blue HD Electra Glide when I met him in '75. The only one in Breaux Bridge.
I was my dad's pillion rider on his Norton, at the age of 9, so bikes didn't terrify me.
Well Harris traded it in for a '82 black model, more like a full dresser and I had loved it, for it's so comfy. Sold that when he had to work overseas.
I never thought of those good ole days, when we'd take trips up north Louisiana where there are hills and great for bike tourings.
Kel isn't one for bikes, I think he's scared of them!

Cindy glad your having fun. Funny how a break up can lead us to better things in life. also glad to hear Ray is going great ! wow. He sure has come a long way.

Oh Rick and I had a blast ! We seen a friend of Rick's outside of his house so we stopped for a little visit .Rick hasn't seen him since he left his old job,He would come in to weld at Adeldicks .Then we just went to Burger King to eat ,we don't have one around here so it was a treat .After eating we were ,or I was too full to go get a drink so we just went to the show .Bill Engvall is just too too funny !!!!
Rick is already passed out and we've only been home about 30 minutes .....oh to fall asleep so easy .But I know he was exhausted after working 12 hrs yesterday and then running with the fire dept with all of the flooding and roads washing out ,landslides and stranded people late last night and then getting back up and working another 10 hrs today .He will be whooped tomorrow .Poor guy runs himself to death ! I worry that he is doing too much .

Cindy so glad that Ray is doing so well !!!!! Talk about 2nd chances ,makes a person appreciate life even more !

ah bikes....... would love to have one again, but at a certain stage of life you don't go back....

I have to tell you a funny thing that happened this morning ....... I had not slept all night ,talk on the phone til the wee hours then had to pack Rick's lunch and make coffee for him when he got up at 5:30 .Well about 5:15 I turned off the lamp on my stand next to the bed and rolled over to watch tv .At 5:30 when the alarm went off here comes Jack (the cat) running to the alarm to shut it off ....when I didn't roll over immediately to turn it off she jumps on my pillow standing beside my head bopping me on the head to shut it off.....I giggled then and I am still giggling about this crazy controlling cat this afternoon .She is really the dictator of the house !!

Have steaks laid out thawing to grill for dinner when Rick gets home ! He truly deserves it after last night ,he made the entire evening about me and whatever made me happy !

Good Morning Ladies,

It's moving day and I am not looking forward it at all. But I am blessed to have great friends to help. My friend Cathy is bringing me coffee and Peanut Butter cookies (my fave) lol After today I can really begin to move on with my life. I am finding out more and more that Ron is what I have been searching for since I lost my husband. He is a very good housekeeper, lol. He posted a pic of his living room on FB. His living room faces the lake and has beautiful deck to walk out to. Yesterday he was going fishing so I posted this picture on his wall and told him to have fun. LOL next thing I know he used that picture for his profile pic. Little by little I am seeing just how much he likes me :) I think my mom would approve of him but I'm keeping him away from her for awhile, until I make sure he doesn't scare easy lol For some reason she never liked Doug, so he never came up here much and that always bugged me. Oh well, don't have to worry about him anymore. I saw this pic on FB and thought it was funny, it's mean but funny. I was going to post it but on my FB page but a lot of my friends are Doug's friends too.

moving day....... ah yes, I've lost track at 40 personal moves, and don't envy you the actual move, but oh boy - it'll be nice when you're settled in

Off to church this morning - first time in 3 weeks - it will be good to get back.

Moving is stressful for me, so don't want to have to do it again. You have lots of help from friends and that will make it easier for you.

Yesterday went to a book sale at the library, I know I said I wasn't going to go to any more since I have so many books to read now. A bag full of books for $5, but I was only going to look for ones I do want to read. Found "Lord John and the Hand of Devils" by Diana Gabaldon, in pristine condition and "In the Company of Others" by Jan Karon for 50 cents each. Looking for the People series, but nothing there. When I get Outlander series finished I guess I'll just get them from the library.

Another nice sunny cooler day so will clean up some more flower pots and put them in one place this time.

Tom did my taxes but they got rejected :( due to i ddn't have a pin number from my last 2013 taxes ?? uhg.

with so much going on in everyone's life i thought maybe we could use some more time ?

It just seemed like a lot going on for many of us. So i thought maybe putting out several dates would help ?

Well needless to say things got ugly. When I first got there everything was fine. he had all my stuff ready. Then said to me you are NOT taking the BBQ. I told him yes I was, it was given to me by Sheri for being a good friend to her. He argued with me and said that she had given it to him . He said I'll call her and prove it, I said go ahead lol. Then he got real mean and started yelling at me calling me names and threatened me with the cops. I laughed and said go ahead!!! Then he threatened me with If you take that BBQ I will go to your mom's and destroy everything you have. My friend Cathy heard it all. So I told her to call the cops, he immediately left the house. Then who shows up but his mom and she started in on me, then his step sister came out of the bdrm and she started in on me. I told them both it was none of their business to leave me alone!!!! My friends Cathy and Karie told me leave the BBQ it's not worth it and besides it's just a reminder of Sheri who did you wrong also. Of course he tried to say a lot of my stuff was his, I know better!! His true colors showed up big time!!! I am so happy now to be rid of him!!!!

I am writing a letter to the property management and having it notarized tomorrow and getting it in the mail!!!

I am so exhausted physically and mentally I will sleep good tonight :)

Sorry things got ugly! But glad to hear it is all done.

Funny how some people show their true colors when parting ways. Not much of a man tries to pinch a barbi on the way out the door sheesh.

Tax junk to do today. Tom did my taxes online and yesterday i recieved an email that they were rejected. I didn't have my 2013 tax number ? . Good grief. Long story but i don't have any of our old taxes ??? they dissapered ? i have one file cabnet. I only have 4 yrs of our taxes ? WTH ?
so off to the accountant. Hopefully i can get a copy of our 2013 for the pin number.
i have massage class at 1 today . so its crunch time.
