Sorry to hear that Cindy. Sending hugs as well. Wish I was closer to help you move.
Rm# 306 *Sweet Interruptions* Hotel
So sorry Cindy !! Men can be jerks and don't know when they have life made !!!!!
Yeah well it's his loss because he will never find another woman like me. I did everything for him and put up with all his "poor me" crap. He said it's because he's lonely. Well WTF I am too but I have my mom to think about first. I came up with all kinds of ideas for a way for him to live up here but he didn't want to move. But guess what??? He has to move anyways, come Dec if not sooner. So he screwed himself LOL!!!!
Cindy you are the BEST thing that ever came into his life. His loss not yours. Thank God you have a home to return to. You brought joy, adventure and strong support.. guess he rather lose it all and hang with 'hos'.
Chin up girl.
Synda don't miss that appointment please. Especially now that you're back to driving regular.
Karen, Pegi, I use the cane less now. Still slow in walking, but I have improved somewhat. My weight loss has helped a lot. But the diabetic neurapathy in my feet still leaves me looking down to what I'm stepping on. Quit using the electric chair too. Forced myself to push the buggy.
Kids at church had Easter party. Joy is listening to their laughter..
Friends sick at my stomach every time I eat.
Medical issues are causing me to drop out of regular posting.
Ernie sip on some ginger tea when you eat or snack on some ginger .You can get it dried or even peel it and eat a little fresh.Ryan and I just tried some fresh ginger,it has a little bite to it but smells and taste good !
Ernie - that's good advice about the ginger - to me it tastes rather "peppery", but I like it and it's good for your tummy........
Morning everyone!
Ernie, sorry to hear your getting sick! Just post when you can!
If someone has a cure for diverticulitis, please let me know. Last time mine flared up was back in 2013, but it hit me yesterday with a vengeance. All I consumed was water and broth yesterday. I finally took a flexeril last night and got a decent nights sleep!
don't know any solutions to Diverticulitis. :( Sure hope it passes quickly and you start to feel better again LK.
Savannah is showing me a cute video with women lip syncing to popular songs of the generations. 1940 - today. the women dress up in fashion popular in that era LOL . Very cute.
Ernie sending healing thoughts to you. Hope the tummy settles soon.
Easter egg hunts are fun.
not much going on here
stormy outside. lots of thunder and lightening. lots and lots of rain !
so inside today.
canceled my gym apt. We are all sick with bad cold and i sure don't want to go out in this storm with a bad cold.
Hope your all feeling better soon!
Today is our 55th anniversary...Boy that makes me feel old. LOL
Happy Anniversary Karen! Wishing you many more years together!
Happy Anniversary Karen ! 55 years is AWESOME ,don't feel old !
Happy Anniversary Karen, we made it pass our 54th before Darwin left me. Can't believe I survived through it all. LOL
Synda technology makes it too easy for me to get another Outlander book. I know if I had to go to the library to get the books there would be a long wait in between as I would have to stand in line. I don't get my work done before I sit down to read that is why I'm flying through the books.
Praying for better health for all, it is spring not a time to have to stay inside.
Happy Anniversary, Karen!
I'm not even sure what Diverticulitis is.......
Sitting inside, by Bob's side. Last night, after he laid down to go to sleep, he felt all clammy then felt a "click" in his ribs like something went back into place. He's not feeling well at all today, so I'm not going to be on the computer........
Did the Dr. do an xray?
No, he said that he didn't think Bob's ribs were broken or cracked. We could get an x-ray done if we wished. Bob chose not to. Now, I'm thinking he may have cracked or broken it. However, I don't want him to move from the couch today, until he feels better. We could bind him up here - there's nothing that they could do otherwise, really.
Now, I really want to get to my hubby's side. Cya later, everyone - take care.
They don't bind them any more Susan, worry is a lung could get punctured.
Happppppy Anniversary Karen!!!!
Wishing you many many more.
Ernie, Synda is right, Chinese always take some fresh ginger tea for stomach ailments and nausea. Get well please and down as much liquids as you can.
Hehehe, I am glad to make your man smile, Sue. Indeed, most men like mine don't know a good thing until they hit the bottom cause of a ho.
Diverticulitis.. Kel's DM has it, LK. She can't take anything spicy or fried and anything she finds difficult to digest. She even stayed off red meat, besides nuts and seeds.
It took her almost a year before she can resume to eating off the menu.. of course, none spicy nor fried.
Prayers go out for Bob, Synda. Poor man, I know how bad he wants to return to work.
Pegi, thanks for the prayers. We always need them.
Kel helped in cleaning the back porch that's littered with boxes of cat poopoo. He's supposed to bring them all to a designated area, but hauled them instead to the middle of the back yard!! So said the 'trailer' broke! If he had done what's supposed to be done the minute he removed a box, he won't have to be in pain carrying 20 boxes, one at a time, down the broken staircase.
I didn't fuss at him, just thank him as at least he did something.
Six months of not doing anything around the house accumulate.
I sat back today, and again watch him cuss (not at God) as he tried to maneuver the bills. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, he's been doing. Then he has the nerve to ask me what is due.
Told him that since he took over everything, I'm contented to not have those worries.
Sisters, it's bad here, but as Karen said, I'm not married to him, so he is responsible for any creditors that come calling.
Gonna lift up my spirits and watch some old movies, like "UP" That always makes me cry but a big smile after!!
good morning.
Tom is a sleep guy today.
Glad Kel is getting some things done around the house for you Jaye. Up is one of my fav movies too.
Happy Anniversary Karen.
Susan sorry to hear about Bob. hope he feels better soon.
Synda i have no tried books on a computer yet. I m start doing that also. I hate standing in line and i m not good at returning books. LOL
i have some thai yoga massage classes today. going to be a long afternoon.
Morning everyone.
About time Kel did something around the house!
Good Morning Ladies,
We are going to have a storm, yippie lol but then it may snow too so I will be covering up all my veggie plants. We won't get any snow but possibly severe hail storm which could do major damage to my garden :( And I had to cancel order for swimming pool. State issued no filling swimming pools. I think we better start filling milk jugs so we will have some water to get us through this drought.
This will give you an idea of how bad off we are :(

You need to invest in rain barrels to collect the rain.
To all, a Blessed Good Friday, Jesus loves us so much that He gave Himself on the cross so we could have eternal life.
I'm a little weak, LK.. don't know whether it's my old muscles, so I'll get here and talk more after another prolonged nap/
Where can you find time to read Sue?
Cindy one hand you need the rains, but on the other, something suffers. Guess you're happy for the greater good.
Hi - thanks for prayers for Bob - he's still feeling a bit rocky and his ribs "click" now and then, but he's doing better.
I'm just spending time with him as much as possible
Funny you said that LK, I have got all kinds of buckets and an empty 100 gallon water trough ready to catch whatever we get. News says now it will rain for 3 days yay!!!!!
Direct some of the rain you get our way please,Cindy. I was digging out in front with a small pik axe and ground is so hard I really had to work. Can't believe how the weeds can grow through that cement like dirt. Had to quit or my arm may fall off. By the time I get it all dug up it will be time to start again. I read on facebook that some state is banning collecting rain water. That has to be a hoax, just when did the government become in charge of free rain water!
Here you go Pegi, it's true.
http://www.naturalnews.com/029286_rainwater_collection_water.html
ok, so - as I read the article, only 3% of the water actually goes into waterways for the gov't use, and 97% seeps into land for plants etc and/or evaporates. Therefore it could be fought that the law is archaic and taken off the books. Also, one business owner was able to fight it and get the law to allow him to collect rainwater.
Ca is really getting hit with this drought. wow. ! worst in years .
sorry to hear about the no fill for your pool. :(
i have rain barrels.... don't use them much anymore. wish i could send you some of our rain Cindy .
not much here but a busy day.
Spent morning with Tom and kids. then off to thai yoga class and home to clean the mess kids left and get them dinner.
So in place of the swimming pool......We are getting a chicken coop Sweet!!! nothing like fresh eggs! A friend will be giving me some baby chicks

That is pretty cool! Cindy!
great! Fresh eggs are good. I heard somewhere that the eggs you get in grocery stores are actually approx 4 months old.
Yes, it's an archaic law, Susan. Yes, comfort Bob, he sure needs TLC now.
Rainwater harvesting laws differ from state to state. It is an archaic law, and I know California has so much rules regarding that, Pegi.
I remember the huplah when Colorado made it legal in 2009. I went,... "what?" Incredulous, and I was then collecting trash cans of rain water. Liquid gold.
I don't understand why Brown doesn't try to implement gray water usage, like in Australia.
Water redirected off your washing machines, instead of going down the drains.. can be used elsewhere.
Looks like you are still getting anniversary wishes Karen! Wow, the romance is still alive.. he actually sang "May I have this dance for the rest of our life" You should write a book on your marriage.
So, pulled pork for tacos! That's a nice idea, Sue. I normally make carnita and use the leftovers for tacos. Add a bit of salsa verde and I'm in heaven.
Did some cooking, ham butt.. a'hole is home.. night sisters.
Yayyy Cindy. You turned lemons into lemonade. Fresh eggs have deep colored yolks!! I get mine from sis Carolyn.
How about paying taxes on the rain..

i use to have chickens...... miss the eggs.
good morning
oh boy i m up early today to take Savannah to a 4H quality assurance . Kids have to do this in order to show at fair...... i am so over this goat and fair stuff LOL .
cool weather today and the next. brrrrr.
Ham is not in my budget for easter. No traditions here really. We are not a religious family per say, don't follow any particular religion. So we just spend it as a quality time for us. Tim will make no effort in coming home for easter and he never has.... so i have always made non traditional foods.
Yes mom and I were talking last night about saving grey water. Like plugging the bathtub when we take showers. But wouldn't the soap kill plants? Guess I better research that......
We run our laundry water out in the back yard, and it has not killed the grass yet!
