Marion your a powerhouse of strenght. I m sorry to hear of the loss . Glad you got some good friends to hang with .I m sure that was a much needed day.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Oh Marion, Hugs to you. Hoping today is helping you over the stress and sorrow of yesterday. Loosing a grand is heartbreaking even if it's before you get to hold them.
Hard for Kim but process of elimination is sometimes all we have, to try and find a solution. Hoping she finds one soon.

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Hugs to Y'All ♥♥♥

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Karen, I haven't found a doctor that I like either in NC or across the border. Had a wonderful PA, but she moved back to Maryland, she can't stand the culture here :(

((((((Marion))))) So sorry, isn't this her second loss? Truly am sorry for your family as you all have more than enough love to give another!!! I am sure the girls are looking forward to another sister. Hugs again, Marion.
Kim, hang in there. You are in good hands. Maybe it's something you're allergic to, let's hope.
Marion you sure need that silver lining from your old friends. I'm not giving up hope that one day ALL of us will have this grand reunion.

It's bad when I can't find time for sewing and now that football is here!!! Woe goes my sewing machine!

Sue, when will Stanford be playing?

Not able to watch Bama nor LSU now, blocked by DirectTV :(
BUT watching another SEC school. Yay.. I don't need any antidepressant tonight.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Thanks everyone. I was very concerned after DIL had lost one 2 years ago so was just waiting. This is part of life be it pleasant or bad so we will go forward. Karen, yes you are so right. Good news is my DIL is healthy and we have 2 healthy, happy( read that as 1 wild child) so we are still blessed. If it is meant to be, there will be a 3rd.

Jaye, whatever are you going to do with no access to LSU or 'Bama games? That is pure torture for you. We (FSU) opens tonight in Texas. Hopefully Kim will stay awake long enough so we can watch together. We were hoping the test yesterday might give us a clue to the ongoing problem with Kim but at least it was a very good report and for that we are thankful. On to the next process of elimination.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Marion, Marion, Marion!!!! I'm a fool!!!!!
I have Direct TV and I've been hearing the hullabaloo about DTV owning SEC yet I can't access my channels!!
Guess what, after almost half an hour of finagling with the remote, I got them back!!! Ah.. apparently someone had deleted those "fall" channels. Yay!! All is right with Jaye's world!
Good luck with your team. Mizzou won and that's a good start for my 3rd fav, SEC team.

You're right, as long as your DIL's healthy and the V. I. Pixies are happy, that's a lot to be thankful for.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear of your loss Marion.

I am in San Antonio for a few days and internet is limited. I will be back home Monday.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

My niece went to FSU but lives in Dallas area. Wonder which way she will cheer.

Stanford won 45-0
Alabama won 33-23 Tom says they should have won by more.
i have just been informed i don't say SEC. But i m to say S.E.C.......
At Toms tonight. Watching Clemson vs Georgia. drinking wine. PMS has hit hard today LOL
Stanford plays USC next week. Should be a close game ? or Stanford will get slaughtered LOL
LEts hope the band doesn't play on the field again ! we don't need a recap of that play . uhg.
Heading over to Cookies tomorrow for some shopping.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

We enunciate the letters, Sue. Tom's right. And Ga, won against arch rival Clemson!! Kel should be happy, though we're in Clemson territory.
Bama has a young team, so we won't see much blow outs this year. I'm sure sis Kathy takes any wins she can!!! Lol!!
Recording LSU against the determined Badgers. We lost lots of players to the NFL, the highest number. So far the teams are an equal match. Think they have a better QB.

Karen, your niece should be rooting for her alma mater.

Have fun in S.A, LK!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

What a game we watched. I wasn't even sure FSU was going to win this one! They need to get it all together or it is going to be on "heart attack" year for sure.

I do believe the fall is upon us. Was up by 7 and was ready to have my coffee and watch the bird activity along the lake but alas it is still dark!!! In a way, I think I am ready for fall but these dark morning makes me rethink that....oh well, it will be what it will be.

Good for your niece Karen. Jaye is right, she needs to yell for FSU.

Have a great day everyone.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm betting she will root for FSU, it's where she was born and grew up. At least until her boy grows up. He's playing already at age 9.

good morning
its pouring rain here .. .ack.
off to see cookie
this new car is the pits in the rain. can't see nothing. I think my truck had the window treatment to help with rain. ? i may need to do that.
off and hoping i don't melt in the rain

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

No football for me, never could get interested in it. Darwin used to tell me that if I had anything to say, say it now. Than I knew football season was starting. TV isn't turned on much these days.
Maybe I'll get interested in some of the new fall series. When Big Brother is over Survivor will start and I always get interested in that.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)
