Sue that is why I never joined an excercize program, just wouldn't do it..bought fitness for Wii and too lazy to put it on, hmmm, not really, the boys disconnected fit and I don't know how to reconnect..just might ask Kyle to drop in and connect for me.

Once you are there I'm sure you will enjoy..how far is the fitness club from you?

Wonder where our Susan got off to, here is hoping she drops in with a hi today seeing as she is off re Canada Day.

Have some swaps needed for June, went downstairs to. Put a quilt on the frame and now I'm painting blackboards. Lol. How does that happen??

Gonna be a damp/wet day here after yesterdays horrifying WINDS .. we lost a few a few ash trees out back in the woods.
Do so hope we hear from Susan.. been awhile since she popped in to say hello and tell us how she's doing.

Think DH may be doing ribs on the barbie tonight .. not too sure, all hinges on the weather .. OMG!! I must live in CANADA .. seems everything here 'hinges on the weather'!

Today we find out if we will be a 3 Westie family, or, not .. Zoey's owner will be coming home from their camping trip, and, she will decide if she can live without Zoey .. it's a 50/50 deal right now .. ergo .. we are TRYING not to fall TOO in love with her..

Stopping in to let you know all is well here. I did get the package from you, betty. Thank you. Forgot to mention it before.

Doctor's visit went well. Got mammogram and lots of lab tests.

The van is overflowing. It's much getter for me to drive but doesn't hold as much as the ambulance did.

A package of books has not arrived. I will probably wait around today and read and relax then leave tomorrow even if it isn't here.

Love seeing the pictures of the twins. Am very sorry about Sharon's dog. It is so painful.

At home, spent the day at the hospital wit Great GS. Over the weekend he has had flu symptoms, would get better during the day and worse at night. Finally yesterday morning I took him to the urgent care that is affiliated with the hospital but much closer. They agreed it was most likely a bug and gave him something for the nausea. They did do a blood draw and said I should hear on it in about three hours. First thing this morning they called and said take him to ER ASAP. So off we went. Turns out after moire tests and scans that his appendix had burst.However a sac had formed containing all the infection and surgery would only put him in danger. They have him on IV antibiotics and will monitor him overnight, he possibly will be released tomorrow afternoon. The surgery? It can wait a week or two as long as he doesn't show signs of infections. Payton at the moment is only suffering from sensory overload as he has the TV and a WII game going at the same time.
He wanted me to stay, but I told him I was exhausted and he wouldn't even know I was gone. I wrote down my number for him and said he could call when ever he wanted. This was NOT supposed to happen on my watch!

Just got home late this afternoon. Lots of driving, but I got Tyler dropped off, and it sounds like he is fitting in just fine. I only had one day to do all my sightseeing, but it was great! Took the road to the summit of Mt. Evans, and right near the parking lot was a small group of mountain goats. The park rangers at the summit kept everyone back, but the goats didn't seem to mind the tourists at all. From there, a drive through Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park. Got to see a couple of moose, and a herd of elk, plus the beautiful views! I think I've had my fill of mountains for a while, though! Some of those roads are pretty scary! Glad to be home.

Edited to say, I don't know why the picture of Tyler crashed out after a long day of driving is sideways, but I don't know how to fix it.

Want to thank you all, my American Friends for wishing me and my Canadian friends a Canada Day wave..bet you saw me holding the Canadian flag..watched celebrations being held in Ottawa (your Washington D.C. But did not get to the graveyard seeing as the girls came then rain..another weekend and I'll walk over.

Karen, poor Paylon, must have worried you terribly, update on his improvement today.

Good morning .. her I sit with Zoey to my left pushing my hand , while Piper and Lilly are to my right .. all vying for ATTENTION!!!!
Off to the groomers today for Lilly and Piper, but, Zoey will also come with us as we are not going to leave her alone with KING OF THE BEASTS .. Smokey, they are still not comfortable with one another.

Getting the bag on Lorna's walker took all of MAYBE 3 minutes .. undid one screw, and slid the bag on, perfecto !!
IThey;ll both be getting 'broken in' today .. moreso Lorna, than mine .. she will TRY to be careful, but, doubtless it'll be tough .. she;s still planting beds ..

Karen .. OHMIGOSH .. be vigilant with Payson .. especially re his temperature ... quite the situation, I sure do hope he weathers this storm .. how old is he ?

Deb, beautiful pics, but , I can see your happy to be home !!!! Job well done, that's quite a distance to have travelled.

Betty .. our small 'townette', there's only 2500 people spread out greatly, farm country .. has ONE General store .. Wilsons .. the owner, Arden, is like a character out of a novel .. some days a 'crochety old man', others just a delight .. he has the postal outlet in the store, as well as a liquor store .. I was able to pick upa the parcel and a bottle of wine .. buying groceries there would only be done on an EMERGENCY basis as Arden and his wide raise the prices about 10 to 15 cents from the stores in the city, 20 minutes away.

We get Zoey's papers on Thursday. Her former oener is bringing over a few more things .. I am really having second thoughts on her coming over, Zoey has just started to settle, I don't want her to get stressed at seeing her person .. but, on the other hand, Angie loves her, and it's only right she should give her some farewell hugs, I'm crying already for both of them ..

Just a few minutes before heading back to the hospital. Payton is 11 just on the cusp if little boy and middle schooler. He wanted me to stay last night, I told him if he really needed me I would but I was very tired. I also said if he needed to he could call me and I would come back. He said he would be fine. I know he was on the phone a lot, he had tons of calls coming in. Phones are shut off at 10 and he had told his mom he was sleepy just before then. Had to be scary for him, it's the first time for anything like this and parents are 750 miles away. Hopefully today he'll come back here and all will be well. It all does make me rather nervous though. I wish they had taken the darn thing out.

Still on a roller coaster with Payton. He should have been released this morning but had a set back last night and we are back to go. I sure wish I had taken him to hospital ER instead of their Urgent Care center. They would have caught it, operated and we'd be home free by now. He was so up set last night, I spent the night with him. Some of the family is here now and are spelling me so I can get a shower and clean clothes.
