Morning glory tree's die back like the angel trumpets, but you can take cuttings and root them. But also like the angel trumpet, they may make it if you move them indoors!

oops! Linda Kay, need your address.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Was going thru some old post making sure what I had for a swap was good for my bud, and it hit me all the people who have passed thru and enjoyed talking to and have now "disappeared" from the threads. I always wonder where they are and hope everything is good for them.

I know when my Mom died I was so, humm don't know the best word, that I just didn't get on. I would read some evenings and it was nice to read what everyone was up to, and especially soothing if someone ask about me. So I guess I want to say thank you to you all for helping without even knowing it.

Ok please don't ask me what brought that on...LOL Just that you all are in my thoughts I guess. ;)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I agree, there are so many no posting anymore, or not often, and we do miss them and worry what happened!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I am still here Joyce, I will not leave Daves for anwhere..

LK, I have a box of crinums ready to send to you this monday. No worrys on postage, just happy to see someone take them and hope to see pics of them later from you.

Do I need to pay you first Faye, before you send?
I just made a punkin bread it and it turned out really flat and mushy in the middle, so much for my baking efforts. Bleah

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks Debra. Send growing instructions please?
Sounds like you needed to cook that bread longer.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

planting instructions? Uhm... plant until all roots are covered, that is all I know.. put them in sunny location? LOL they havn't bloomed for me. need an expert for care, ask someone in the bulbs thread maybe?

Sendng you some of my yard seeds and mg seeds too.. no planting instructions I just throw them around.
Using your wonderful Christmas Quilt you made for my sister, she woud be glad.. we stil have not turned on the heater. I don't think Joe wants to move plants away from the heater ducts too soon LOL

Hope that quilt keeps you warm.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Plant the crinums so that you can just see the top of the bulb sticking out of the ground. They like sun and don't like to be moved once they've been planted. It's not a task you really want to take on anyway. Those bulbs can get huge and weigh up to as much as 30 lbs or more. No fun to dig once they are established.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

well, knowing Linda, she will put them right where they want to stay.. I have no clue if they like sun or part or shade or what. My queen emma just stays in her big ole pot growing..

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

We are glad you are back Miss Debra, we so missed you and your pictures. You are such a good friend as so are so many on DG.

Well working from home is better than working at work on a Sunday but it still is the pits. Getting closer to getting done, but of course the the vpn went down and I am locked out of part of it....geehz.

Well just got on for a sec to find an email from the payroll company. Have a great night and a better day tomorrow you all.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happ what work do you do? What is a VPN?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

If I brought home work like I used to, I would not have baked a chicken , made mashed potatoes and brown gravy, made banana bread and pumpkin bread that flopped, defrosted the freezer, re-arranged and watered the gardens downstairs, vacuumed up all the dirt and leaves, and boxed up stuff to send up today. I don't know how you do it Joyce. I never cook in the summer, so everyone can't wait until it is too cold for me to go outside..
painting my nails now even as I type :P:
memories of the wanning summer..

Now I go to work in the dark and don't even see the sunset on my way home, course today it was cloudy so I wouldn't of seen it anyway, but !!!!

Okay enough whining....LOL

Watching DWTS....I wonder what Cher said cause my tv went silent...rofl. Hard to believe she is as old as she is.

We are suppose to have more rain, which is good, cause we are still way behind.
Love the pics of the flowers.

Here is a pic of my BIG bloom, and my DH. The smell has been amazing!
Oh yeah the bloom is so big it will not stand on it own, hence the help from DH

omg Joyce that is lovely!

Cher couldn't answer the comment with a definate couple but she did vote on the long haired dancer. I at least saw that much, joe was switching between the voice and dwts so much I got dizzy. Once a longgggg time ago, I danced with crystal beads on my fringe and one of the rows of beads slipped off and I tripped all over them on the dance floor.

Also, a longggg time ago, someone talked me into entering a cher look alike contest up in KC. I won a cheese burger, fries and a coke to a place up there.. LMAO the winner f that contest had big b**bs and was blonde. Go figger.. anyway, at that time a longgg time ago, she and I were flat chested and had big noses. oh, yeal, she is rich.. I am not This was like 40 years ago.. don't laff too much on this post u guys..

Oh I hate driving in the dark, I am pretty night blind.. and I hate the cold too.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

When i was just a little tike I Used to sing on the TV Till it fell on the floor :)
50* this morning They say rain later today & the next 3 days i guess. hate the change of weather warm one day cold they next I woke with sore throat & Sniffles thought the coffee would help
we shall see . mean time I have to go let the chicks out ya all have a great day .

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Joyce that is beautiful!

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

I agree. ^_^

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Thanks everyone, If I had known it was going to flop I would of staked it but I have it leaning on a plant shelf...LOL

Oh Debra don't you know blondes with big ones always win, it could of been a look alike for Richard Nixon and the blonde would of won...LOL
The comedian guy on DWTS said him and Cher sang many many times together, (in the car) rofl, isn't that the truth, good old radio all alone and just belt it out, especially You got me Babe...LOL. Cher does look good, but at the end when she they had the cameras on her, I think she has had so much surgery that nothing really moved on her face, quite odd. She is releasing a new song and she sang it and it was really pretty song, sad, but pretty.

Been solid clouds for 2 days, ughhh, .... ;( That is what happens here for days all thru the fall and winter. Clouds will roll in and just sit and sit.

Hopefully get home early enough tonight to spend some time in the garden room and start playing. I want to start a bunch of stuff and I bought some heat mats. Have a few plants to get off the floor cause some of the tropicals do not like cold concrete on their feet. I rearranged everything and I think it is working better.
