She's about to... 70! Fall is in the air!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

I was out of town but everything arrived safely. I got so darn sick out of town I spent another day because I just didn't think I could drive back! As it was I pulled over in McDonalds and slept for about an hour....good grief, what an absolute miserable trip! I haven't been this sick in a LONG time. I have to work next week I am the only one in my area.....geehz. Ok sorry for the whining... ;(

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hope your feeling better soon.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

oh dear Joyce, please feel better soon.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Well it has been good exercise cause my sides and stomach are so sore from coughing and sneezing. See there is good in bad. But I am so ready to stop exercising.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Yes, indeed. Get well very soon.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh man, the weather channel just said cold weather is coming soon. It is supposed to be 39 tonight or tomorrow.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

try 34 herefor the nxt 3 nites, highs in the 50's. when i' divorced, i'll be in florida

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Your getting divorced?

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

why not, my husband has been gone 324 days this year, I might as well be.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

But he is working to pay for your new home.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

he can have it. it already paid for. we paid cash for it. I have hd it. I am alone all the time

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear that Kathy. Hope you can talk to him and work something out.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

awww gee, that's tuff. I am sorry... I also hope you can work it out.. but If I was divorced, I would move to florida too ... just saying, wore thermals all day at work today, shheese!

All the times I thought I wanted to be divorced, something would happen to bring us back closer.. all the times I wanted a divorce, he did nothing wrong, it was always me being unhappy for my own doings.. If he was gone all the time, and not at work, I woulda split a long time ago tho.
Any man that can put up with my "stuff" as long as Joe has, deserves an award LOL

Joyce, hope you are feelin better..

((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Aww thanks, well a different day, everyone is all happy now. LOL I WISH we could get another dog, but I couldn't stand looking at the future knowing I would have to go thru what I have been thru with my past four dogs in my life so far. Losing Duke did it in for me. Never again, I say atm.
Love you all for listening to me whine about my kids whining at me. My youngest girl and I argued for at least an hour over the validity if using PMS as an excuse to be bitchy and crying and whimpy, I couldn't relate as I couldn't stay in bed and moan and groan and all that when I was their ages, at my monthlies, I was working, raising children and enduring the age old curse the way I was taught to endure it. I fought the ADD the schools said my oldest had, and fought the "chemical imbalance" the schools and drs told me my middle daughter had and have always told my children to get off their pity pots and do something. As my youngest college educated daughter tells me, just because I was tough as nails and withstood all kinds of pain and abuse, doesn't mean she can't suffer as bad with menstrual cramps. I had her google PMS as I had never heard of the term until I became a mother of my third daughter at age 16. That girl is 33 now. There was no terminology on google until AFTER 1981 she found, but the symptoms were described in the ingredients of PAMprin.. see? I told her so .. LOL

Good morning all.
I have caught up reading this thread and have laughed and cried.
I'm praying for all of us, me included, Prayer does work!
You ladies are the greatest. I wish I could meet every one of you. I'm thinking you are what best friends are, someone who does confide as well as listen. I'm sorry for all the sickness and pain, and, lol so glad I live far enough away from my daughter I don't have to see her PMS. Had it tough myself, lol but you can believe, there was never any PAMprin.

Received postage from Joyce and Debra, thank you so much, for the "TIP" also.
If I ever post a flower that you would want cuttings, just let me know.
Have more Angels if you want them.
Faye

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

faye, can ii pweeez have an angel?

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

jordan, yes of course you can have as many as I can get into a flat rate box. What size box would you like.
Med. is 12.35 and small is 5.80. Actually the difference is from 12 to 15 Angels in med. and 5 in small.
Will also need your address.

Hope no one suffered from the tornados that have destroyed so much.
I worked all day from home, never even turned on the tv, until a few minutes ago. I was vpn so I didn't even see the internet until now. Storms have been so violent and destructive....
Just so scary.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

The siren sounded once here so not sure how close the tornado was. We had some fierce straight line winds last evening for a little while. It's still too dark to see what blew around or what damage, if any, the neighborhood sustained. Thankfully, we're okay. But I am missing one cat who hates loud noises and storms. He's out there hiding somewhere but hope he comes home soon!! Call me worry wart.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear of all the damage! I hope you ladies have no or little damage!
Sure hope you find your cat!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Oh I hope kitty has found it's way home by now. Glad you didn't sustain any damage that you know of. The pictures on TV were horrible, like Joplin Mo and Oklahoma. One of the guys that works in OK where the tornado went thru is trying to rebuild but with 20,000 other people trying to do the same thing it is tough. He has a great attitude considering all that happened. He didn't lose anyone in the family so he is so grateful, because his daughter and elderly DMIL were home at the time, but the teenage daughter had enough foresight to go to the neighbors safe room. DMIL didn't want to go but the teenage daughter made her. One smart little cookie.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Thanks. No kitty yet. Hopefully soon. I know he panicked when the storm got so loud. We didn't have any damage and I don't see any in the neighborhood although there could be some trees down, I suppose. The wind didn't last very long. It did blow the leaves off the roof - so I suppose that's a positive.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Kitty will come back I am sure, glad no one had any damage, thos winds are nasty. Stay safe.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

:)

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

sending prayers for the families that lost their homes and for your kitty.
when we has the big tornado out break in 2010, a womans cat come home after 6 months. i'm sure your will come home today. she is just scared and stil hiding

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Thanks, ya'll. I'm counting on that. It looks to be a beautiful day today. Yes, prayer for those who lost their homes and loved ones. Awful.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Was a wild ride home last night. We drove through the storm for about an hour. Pretty scary at times, gale winds and driving rain. At least we didn't have to worry about deer being on the move, a couple close encounters with them in the past week was quite enough.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh man. We are watching the news and all the devastation from the storms. Sending prayers for all.
