Aww Karen, hope you could reverse that with something positive later.
(((((((((HUGS))))))))))))
I do have humongous banana leaves.. Nah... too ugly!
***Sweet Interruptions*** Rm# 267
It's just the usual Linda but worse today.. Some days are like that, for some reason something I eat, and it could be something that wasn't too bad before, decides to hit me extra hard. Had a rough night and raw and bleeding today. I know I need to eat because of the diabetes but afraid to. It never goes away but I hope it backs off soon. So far no one has been able to find what is wrong, I've even been to U of M. I've given up on Drs. They just repeat another test and then say come back in a month. 5 years of it now, I'm just worn out.
Who knew when to quit? Nope went back outside and started pulling weeds in the area with the new edging. Getting it ready to put plants into the ground and mulch this weekend. Duh!!!
Read this sistahs!! From the Farmers Almanac
September 2013
11th-12th Clear Fencerows, Woodlots And Fields, But Do No Planting.
13th-14th Any Aboveground Crops That Can Be Planted Now Will Do Well.
15th-17th Poor Planting Days. Kill Plant Pests.
18th-19th Favorable Planting Days: First Day For Aboveground Crops. Last Day For Root Crops And Also Good For Transplanting. All Days Fine For Planting Vine Crops.
20th-22nd Seeds Planted Now Will Grow Poorly And Yield Little.
So no planting Marion.. Sis Kathy.
Karen, I'm so sorry you're suffering with chronic bleeding. I'm sure you keep a journal on foods and reactions.
Gosh.. so sorry...
It's not the food, it's not the drugs, something is haywire in my digestive system but it doesn't show up in any tests. Been probed up, down and side ways. I was off all food and drink for a week, no change, all chemo meds for a month, no change. Not IBS, not Crohns. Took out the gall bladder, not the liver, not the pancreas. Here I sit a medical mystery. Yay.
I don't know what I'd do in your shoes. Five years and the doctors are still baffled?
Will be praying for you Karen.
Karen have you tried yogurt, and or pro biotic's? They help my tummy problems a lot.
Marion, would you like a birdhouse block from me??
LK, Karen., I can do RWB too if you want.
Any color Jaye.
Tried it all Linda.
Any colors for me too, I'm just so happy I could get into this swap.
ok, hope you're happy, had the roofers dig my holes
Oh no, I do bad!!! I planted a golden dew drop bush...:-(. Hope it doesn't die.
The front bed is edges with the bricks and how nice it does look!! Me? I couldn't stand being inside so I stayed out until about 20 minutes ago.
Jaye, would love a birdhouse block...any colors even the "P" will do.
Need to go shower and demud (is that a word?) myself before starting dinner.
Marion we would love to see pictures please?
Yes, we would. :)
Doug and I were talking about how I wanted sidewalk thru yard. He wants to pour all at once. I said NO!!!! i want cobblestone one by one like it's supposed to be. He say ok, ok but will take a long time. So!??? are we going anywhere Noooooooooooo well then.......I told him I after I pull mold off I'm going to remove cement in between "stones" and plant a ground cover, lol. He OMG!!! Baby that will be so much work, lol I said I don't care as long as we have good weather I'm working outside. I heard this winter is going to be a REAL nasty one for us :( Hope it don't start too soon. So back to the yard........Doug fixed the gate going into yard so, and he is going to make me a trellis/arch over gate. can't decide if I want flat or arch.
Marion, no excuses, you found the charger!
They're so pretty Cindy.. cobblestones that is. It's a lot of work but if you're going to live there for a long time, and have the patience, you'd be enjoying that for years.
This is the first year I follow the moon. Sometimes I get lucky with planting but most of the time, I failed. Could be the soil.. I amend and amend.. and it could be the moon.
So, I'm trying to plant by the moon as my late BIL swore by it. So far, things I had transplanted are surviving.
Heavy bug infestation on my persimmon tree. The spray didn't do much, instead of the yearly dozens, I harvested only three!! Oh well, at least I get to eat some!
Picked up the three kitties. Love the bill!!! All three are separated from the general population :D Groggy and hungry at the same time.
Kel isn't too thrill when I chat with the techie. He looks like a young Tom Selleck!
Karen, I hope you're doing better.
What's for dinner?
It's broiled tempeh for me and hot dogs for Kel!!
my grandfather always planted by the moon.
Well Sis... folks like me with two brown thumbs and too stupid to give up, will try anything!!
Kel was called to help his father who had fallen off the bed. Can't understand that as there are guard rails.
It's gonna be a long night tonight. for Kel.
Good night sistahs. Sleep well.
Night Jaye.
Still a bit rough, been mostly sleepy today....it's an escape.... A while ago hubby roused me and made me eat and drink a glass of milk. He said I was getting unresponsive. I had only had a bit of oatmeal at noon. I get afraid to eat when it flares up like this, but as a diabetic I cannot do that. Better now, but think I'm going to bed, better day tomorrow.
Sending prayers Karen for a quick recovery. Doesn't sound like fun at all.....
Good morning sistahs.
Adding my prayers for you Karen along with Barb's. At least in sleep you're getting some rest after a painful struggle. But your DH did the right thing, making sure your sugar hasn't fallen dangerously low by making you eat.
Poor you, may today sees an end to this mysterious attack.
GTG...... will be back later. Off to run errands with Kel.
Have a safe Friday the 13th!
Had a good nights rest Jaye and feel much better. This is always with me but usually doesn't get this bad. Flares up every now and then. Eating very lightly today but I will eat.
I need to get a couple more bird houses done today too. I'm more than half done so making good progress.
Supposed to have a frost tonight so will bring my Shamrock and Hibiscus tree they are the most tender. The others I can cover as it is supposed to warm up again for a while. Darn I guess his will be the end of our good tomatoes.
Have a good day all, I'm hoping to
Happy to hear you are feeling better today Karen. What a pain to have to live with.......
Frost? Are you serious? I would like some cooler temps but not quit ready for frost.
Not sure how or what will get done today as my body is telling me I put it through the mill yesterday. Does feel good but oh the aches this morning. Calgon take me away!!!!
Oh wow!!! What PIGS!!!!! You going to make them clean up the spilt tar on the gravel??? Boy I would and then make them replace the gravel. That is so unprofessional!!!!!!
yup, if the gravel isn't there it gets muddy. so now I either walk in tar aor mud. what a choice
If they left this when they were done, I'd send the photos to their employer and demand a clean-up. Supposed to be done when a job is finished.
In fact it should be done every day when work is done. How unprofessional of them.

they are still her. the boss and I had a screaming match, and believe me I was no lady. I grabbed him by the throat and called him words I have never used befoe
I would use those words too. That is uncalled for.
LOL, You Go Girl!!!!!
Yeah!!! Tell him you'll make a report to the better business bureau. Unless it's your BIL then just go ahead and grab him again.
no relation to me. I just told him the roof looked like to. ha no liky that!
In that case, I hope you only gave him no more than deposit. No pay until done to your satisfaction.
just materials, and he's gone over on that.called my hubby crying, he'll take care of it when he comes home
Oh Sissy....it's always something.....(((Kathy)))
That's just plain hateful on the roofers' part. Warn them that you're posting pictures of what they did at all your local grocery stores and report to the town's BBB!
You don't deserve this Sis.
Don't know how I did it, but my back is out of order today. Hurts more now after I read Karen will be facing frost.
Will be taking pain pills... just wish I'm closer to Marion... we'd both be recuperating reading quilting mags and wouldn't it be nice if we do a JD movie night?
Wonder how many tons of apples our sistah Sue had pressed today. Enough for Tylenol tonight for her, for sure!
Sorry about your back Jaye. Hope it is feeling better soon.
Jaye!!! Yes, if you were hear we would be reading quilting magazines. Tonight, however, I am being taken out to dinner by the Juniors and his family....Carraba's but you would be welcome to join us.
Slow day today as my muscles were yelling at me from yesterdays yard doings.
Have a great weekend all.
