Oh Jaye, unless Murdock wants to eat, forcing them isn't good. That is the one thing they kept telling Sue with Mom. I knew from Ross but Sue kept thinking if she eats, all will be okay.
Jaye we both expressed ourselves and I didn't mean to hurt anyone either.....just couldn't help meself! Loves you all!!

Marion, you know that Kel's clinging on to hope for his dad's sake.
Karen, I handle grief by shutting down or staying busy. When my mum died, I chose to keep on working. Didn't take a day off.
Aww thanks Carole! Love you.. love you.. love you!
Sis Kathy, found a recipe for 'Bama Stew
Ingredients
•1 Elephant
•salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cut elephant into small, bite-size pieces. This should take about 2 months. Add enough brown gravy to cover, cook over kerosene fire for about four weeks at 465 degrees F. This will serve 3800 people.
If there's leftovers.. serve it to Mike the LSU tiger.
LOL!
Oh how well I know it Jaye. I did the same with Ross but with Mom, I think I had learned. Sue would just insist she eat. I so understand and if it does help Kel, then so be it. Love to you both/
Boy, do you ever mind teasing our Alabama friend!! Almost typed "fiend" :-)
catch a tiger, catch a tiger, smash with an elephant, and serve to lsu fans.
I'm here with thoughts and prayers for you and Kel, Jaye.
We went to Costco today, DH did take his oxygen along and used it while I spent all our money. I had to load and unload the truck and that left me aching and wanting to take a nap. At least that is my last trip there for another month. Now that DH is eating more I had to get some "quick meals" in the house.
I do have to get out in front and get my soil ready to plant sweet peas. So many weeds to get rid of and try and put a lot of moisture in that hard clay soil. It has cooled down, but by the weekend it will be hot again. I had let the volunteer morning glories grow behind the garage and now I have a rose bush entangled with morning glories Just wish they weren't so invasive here. The tomato plants have produced so many small tomatoes, can't eat them fast enough.
For a quick tomato solution, you can put them in gallon freezer bags and freeze. Just wash no cooking. When thawed the peels will slip right off and they are ready to cook with. Just as good if not better than canned for cooking.
I agree. I do that and it works very well.
Sistahs, I'm on FIRE!! Yes!!!
Those on Facebook, please go to my page. Carole, I'm Jaye Blanchard on FB.
Read what I had posted.. it will make you sick. I think LK had seen the first posting,
I'm asking my sistahs to report this ASENINE S**T (Yes I'm that mad) who's giving instructions on how to copulate with a child. The old posting was of a 40 year old man who caused the death of an 8 yr, old via sex!!! Then this SOB wrote that the reason this child died is because the man was ignorant of the right way to seduce this child.
I cannot keep quiet on this!! Please report this man.
Kel's home, for a couple of hours to get online.. then off again.
I read to him what my sistahs said and he's very grateful and says that this is the first time he got so much love from women in one place!! Lol!
If I'm not back later. You all have a good night's rest!
I have reported him Jaye. I sure hope he gets kicked off Facebook!
Oh that's awful. I'm not on FB. Good for you for reporting, Linda. Hope they do something quickly. :(
Morning everyone.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Marion! And many more! ^_^
Oh my, now that is indeed a nice picture for a birthday. Love it LK.
Cindy, saw the one on FB.....be still my heart. LOL As I have stated before: I may be old, but I ain't dead!!!!

morning all, an the eye candy too. btrthday wishes ma lady
Yeap, it do be goooood eye candy. Thanks Kathy.
Good Morning Ladies,
LK, I'm always up between 4 and 5 am. I love the early morning hours I get a lot done, while Doug and the "girls" sleep in and it's a lot cooler. We had triple digits the last 3 days...today it's 87, then back up to high 90's rest of week. CRAZY CRAZY weather!!!!! I've started working on the other side of yard. Planted some Iris', making a spot fot my EE leaf water fall/bird bath. Waiting for one more leaf, the BIG one, it's too pretty to cut down now so I told neighbor when it starts going bad I want it. She then said "Well, I want you to help me make me one" ^_^
Happy Birthday Marion!!
Thank you Miz Jaye.
Oh Jaye...heartfelt prayers and hugs coming your way for you, Kel and Murdock. I know this waiting is so hard. My mother died two years ago this past Monday. Watching her die inch by inch was so hard. We didn't want to lose her, but we surely wanted her to be able to go to the Lord.
Sissy....so happy for Sammie.
Love and prayers to all!
(((((Cookie))))) Having met your beautiful parents, without a doubt, they're missed very much by you and the family.
You'd think I'm cruel, sometimes I ask God why take Murdock first. None would miss MIL. :(
Guess she's still here to learn what love should be.
None of us can ever forget your birthday Marion. Not because you're so special to us.. but this ugly reminder.

Welcome home Sistah Judy!!
Cindy when you finished that EE 'waterfall' share with us please!
LK, thanks for reporting that guy. FB refused to kick him out. Guess they need hundreds of reports before they take any action.
Happy Birthday Marion! Hope you have a great day.
Started out nice and cool, now is the time to get out in the yard. Wonderful breeze coming through my window, would love to sit and enjoy it as long as possible. We are having same weather as Cindy, cool now but going to be hot again.
I need some pointers on how to stop a dog barking. Mandy has such a big bark for her size and barks at every little thing. DH is getting so mad that he says she is going to the pound. Oh no, can't send my baby away. During the night she is just fine, but once she hears another dog bark she is off and running.
So nice to see everyone posting, Cindy, Judy, Cookie, what are you all up too? Cindy, sounds like your busy in the gardens! Please post pictures of those leaves when you get them done!
Pegi, wish I had some pointers for you. I have heard of the bark collars, but I believe they deliver a little jolt to the dog when they bark!
LK, that's what I thought of!
Bark collars for the most stubborn pooches.
Asking for prayers for my nephew Steven Dennis. He was rushed to the ER this morning with chest pains, and they found the sac around his heart has a infection in it! My Sister just called me when she found out. This is her youngest son. He lives in Tennessee, and she can't get there right now, as she is still in the hospital from her surgery on Monday!
Thanks so much!
Prayers coming LK.
Jaye, that is why I really celebrate on another day...week....well month while I am at it. :-)
Prayers said for your nephew and healing for your sister as well, LK.
Good attitude there MaidM!
Did a wonderful thing today for Kel. Thanks to the encouragement of my sistahs here... again I surprised Kel this morning telling him he can get any art book from eBay (reasonably priced of course). The bookstore that we usually frequent has very limited books on his favorite sculptor's works.
At least his mind will be happily occupied when he returns from there.
Good thing he managed to convince his mother that being he's just seconds from them, it's better he rest in his own bed. Since their couch isn't made for his 4X frame.
Who is his favorite artists Jaye?
David Smith LK.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Smith_(sculptor)
He has amassed lots on David Smith, like me with fabric, he wants more :D

Never heard of him, looks like he liked to do large metal sculptures.
Kel was delirously happy when he get to see some of his sculptures at the Nasher Sculptor Center in Dallas. It made the trip to BJ's more memorable.
I bet he was thrilled!
marion, for your birthday, I bought myself a bird of paridise plant. thanks so much, and taking a risk of sounding redundant, happy birthday
That's so sweet!!!!
