Pegi, it is a memory card for your camera. When you take pictures they are placed on the memory card, then you transfer them to your computer. They come in different sizes, 2, 4, 6, 8...The bigger the number, the more pictures it can hold.

linda, my yellow rose bush you gave me is planted in the place of honor, it's shading my dear sissy.
my heart is breaking, out of 25 cone flowers I have 3, I hibiscus-lord Baltimore, out of 6, I angel trumpet, Karoline out of 6, lady banks, 1 rose bush out of 10, 1 whirling butterfly, 2 dianthus, and 7 reblooming day lilies. oh, my pinl lilac tree.

yes pegi, you'll need a memory card for the camera. it has a built in memory but too small. your camera is set for 14mega pixel, but you can set it for smaller sizes. use the bigger pixels if you intend to print out quality pictures. the more pixels the finer the pictures. but if used to only store online or on cds, change the setting to a smaller one.

cindy that is a shame doug isn't given recognitions. i gave away all my crochet threads and just stick to fabric. you're doing the right thing, there's only so few hours in a week for hobbies, if you intend to spend more time outside. be curious to see what you got.

think this headache is stress related. as hard as i try to not let things bother me, sometimes i fail.
hope tomorrow this will go away. sadly, i haven't even visited the other building.

Oh man!! Do I have a lot of stuff!!! Been in the shed for 8 yrs now so I guess I don't need it anymore. Just a short list of what I have:

Tote filled with silk flowers
Toted filled with macrame stuff, books rings, wood beads, HUGE rolls of different cords,jute, nylon
Halloween Stuff, costumes and decos
All kinds of wood items: Apples,Hearts,Stars etc
Books on building ponds, raised flower gardens.....

My 4runner is loaded with stuff I'm keeping. LOL Doug is going to have a cow!!!

I will be coming back here the Friday of Mother's Day weekend to take my mom and a lady friend to Carson City for their annual SP Tournament. We come home Sunday but I'm staying until Monday to load everything up and take it to my house for yard sale. But you Ladies get first dibs if interested. Plz let others know. I will post pictures asap......

Oh Jayegirl, so sorry you got headaches. Do you have any Lavender oil to rub across your fore head and temples? I keep a small bottle on my bedside table. I use it for my hands to plus the smell relaxes me..................

Cindy, I do have lavendar oil. Will try that too. Also will put some dry lavendar flowers in my pillow. Love the scent.

It looks like I'm going to have to do some reading up on this camera. My camera sounds so simple compared to the higher pixel ones. Mine is a Kodak Easy Share 3 mega pixels so I'm looking forward to better pictures. Oh, just recall what a memory card is now, of course mine has a SD card, brain is becoming weaker all the time.

Darwin now is having issues with his right eye. It has been a long time since it acted up but now we have an eye doctor who wants more tests run. When it rains it pours, think we need to set up living arrangements at the clinic. LOL

I'm wanting to get out in the back yard and finish cleaning up the mess I have from vines and dead leaves. By the time we get home from all the doctors I'm just too tired to go out and start. Hope Friday is a free day for playing in the dirt.

i am so far behind even in lurking and i do apologize for being away, but I had to stay focused on this house, and a few projects and now back top traveling back and forth to WI. ...now working in my yard, have to get it all done for Jake's graduation, and i am just now getting started!!
...Which By the Way Sistah, he won first place in the State culinary competition...so happy about that. he was also accepted to Johnston & Whales University in Providence RI, waahhhh, so far away...But were waiting to hear from some scholarships, will be the deciding factor!

Jaye, the camera came today, love the way you shipped it. Now I have to figure it out. If I had gone back and read what to download I wouldn't be so frazzled. So many sites and one that you can order cables, etc. say all sold out. I love the color of it. Now I'll have to go and look up accessories so I can download pictures into computer. Wish my cable to my Kodak worked on this. LOL Thanks so much. Of course, I needed memory card for my Kodak so don't know why I asked. I'm anxious to learn all about it.

DH saw another eye doctor today and she said the inflamation is in his body, a result from all the other things that going on. He has to go back in a week and see what is happening. We have been to doctors every day this week and that includes tomorrow and Friday. They wanted a TB skin test so Friday have to go back and have it read. He sure is tired out from all this. Thanks for prayers.

Pegi, I just download the SD Card straight onto the pc. Your pc should have a program for downloading pictures from memory card. Or you could ask your son to find a driver for it online.
When I got the camera, I didn't realise there's supposed to be a cdrom in the box!! Used it with my Adobe program and now, even with the Sony, I didn't install its' driver, just use Adobe.

Yes LK... the a/c bill should be lower for your son this month! I just have the fans on, we're having tolerable high 70s in the days and low 50s in the mornings.
I think from 90s to the 20s will see many at the doctor's office!

Been working on Doubles Sweeper from my mom's league last night. Thought I was doing so good, called the money into bank, started making out envelopes and noticed I left a bowler out, ugh!!! Had to get back on pc and redo the darn thing. Then trying to get monies to come out right on paper UGH!! UGH!!! Had been at since 6 o'clock this morning, so about 4 I laid down for awhile then went back and did it again.....YAY!!!! it came out right. Now to re-do envelopes writing all the winnings and names..........................tomorrow I'm brain dead right now, lol

Some of you may remember my cousin Sissy, in Oregon, they had a hard freeze warning yesterday, while she was chatting with me it started snowing, then the sun came out, LOL

Jaye, sending my best thoughts to you right now....stress can doing horrible things to you so please take care of yourself. Will try to message Kel. Mom is between eality and who knows where. The Hospice minister saw her today and she told her she couldn't go to heaven just yet. She was busy making cakes and pies for the family reunion this weekend and there were people coming she wanted to see. Odd things is, this coming weekend would be the time we had our reunions as May 3 would have been my grandmother's birthday. No one had mentioned this to mom so this just "through us" a little. Mom is still existing on about 1/2 cup of food daily and not much more with liquids. I hated to leave but with so many things going wrong here at the house I had to come back.

Good thing we are having cooler weather as our a/c died! Gone! Seen better day....and years I might add....22 years as a matter of fact. Guess I shouldn't complain about having to replace it..and the duct work. The duct work is the original put in when the house was built in the 70s.

All can be dealt with in time.

Lanakila, when I use the iPad for Facebook, I have tried to use the web browser, safari, and the Facebook app. I just can't stay logged in to save my soul, it always shuts down. It does not so that with DG or any other site, just Facebook?

Jaye, they are still using the heaters up there. Here we have the Ac on, with our temps at 100 today. it was supposed to hit 108, but did not make it!

LK, the dealer has done work at this house for the past 25 years---the previous owners recommended him. We continued with them as they transferred the service contract when we bought the house. Not many do that. I did recently checked them on Angie's List. Excellent ratings and I have the same person come all the time so he knows the units and house very well.

That is good to know, hate for you to get stuck with one of those shyster dealers, that take your money and run!

Nope. Funny thing about this particular area LK, the service people take their reputations very seriously. I am not saying there aren't some in Tallahassee proper that would be "shaky" people but when you get out into the smaller town the attitude changes. There are a lot of business deal (good ones I might add) that are finalize by a hand shake. Took me forever to get used to that kind of service again.

Glad to hear there are still some good people in this world, they are few and far between!

Marion, I didn't want to bother you since I know how things are going with your mom about DH's problems. I'm just not happy with the chemo thing, as I've heard some horror stories. I just wish that the Xtandi was working, but it is making him sick too.

Jaye, my son doesn't know nothing about putting pictures from his camera into the computer. In fact, I know a whole lot more than he does when it comes to computers and that isn't too very much. He loves taking pictures with his camera, but they all stay in his camera too. Will check on all this. I did download some of the important pages for the camera. It says that you can take 150 pictures before having to replace batteries, the only thing I remembered. LOL So much to learn.........................

Yes Marion, I've been walking in your shoes. Thank you for the comforting words. I don't like to say much these days as I'm afraid I'd scare some away with so much negativity. Believe me, as much as I bring up biblical verses to distract my thoughts, I find myself unable to do other things besides the usual. If not for the daily routines, which I do without thinking, if not I'd be a basket case.
Can't even sew, as that requires precision work. Many squares ended up in the scrap bin.
Calgon ... take me away!!!

Think the best cure for this as Sis Kathy had suggested once, is to remove myself from here for just a short vacation.
I'd feel so guilty leaving Kel without a fort.
